Orange blossom arrived on scene, the singer is very good, happy to be on stage and very communicative. The violonist too, very energic, as it is on the CD... with incredible natural drum'n bass added sometimes by the other musicians (not on the cd ...) !

I've been to another concert saturday night, in a good place : "le batofar". It's a boa t with a bar inside and a place for bands to play, that's pretty cool with some friends...

There were 4 bands, I'm a real fan of the last one so the others were just a discovery for me. They just gave everything they had on scene and as usual it was great ! That's why indie concerts are my favorite I think...

I love the original movie by carpenter and I love rob zombie's films, so this was the movie for me ! And, even if the fans just hated the beginning, I just found it amazing. The mix between rob zombie's love for dirty things, blood and dirty atmosphere and the traditionnal "slasher" movie made something very interesting. The hero isn't the babysitter as in the original one, but this is michael myers! We follow him since the evil grew up inside him, that's what I found good in this remake. Ok, the rest of the film is just like the original one, but with a "modern" touch...

So for me this is the perfect mix, hope to see more good remake like this one in the future...

Drawing isn't my only passion, so I decided to do a post when I'll go to concerts to share music with you and to support talented artists who are too much unknown...

Friday I came in a little bar in paris to see a reggae/soul band that I didn't know : Livin' Soul. Take a look at their myspace : [link] , they're talented musicians with an incredible singer (his voice... amazing!) mixing reggae with some kind of soul music... the result is a pleasure for those who loves reggae.

They just played for more than 1h30 I think, even more, and everything with smile and strenght. That's the kind of band which is always happy to share music with their fans, this is a must to see on scene !

hope to see them again soon... and support them if you like their music as I do!

Le dessin n'étant pas ma seule passion, j'ai décidé de poster un article sur mon blog pour les prochains concerts que je ferais histoire de partager un peu de musique !

Vendredi je suis allé dans un bar parisien (La Java) pour y voir un groupe de reggae/soul : Livin' soul. Jetez un oeil sur leur myspace : [link] les musiciens sont vraiments très bons, et le chanteur... quel voix! Pour un mélange de Reggae et de Soul qui rend vraiment bien en live.



Ils ont joué environ 1h30, voir plus je n'ai pas chronométré, le tout avec la pêche et le sourire ! Un excellent groupe qui a su partager sa musique avec le public, a voir sur scène !

J'espère avoir la chance de les croiser à nouveau sur scène...
