In person would have been "too hard" and he apparently he felt bad enough.

So I've never been in this situation.
And I've never quite realized how much it sucks.
Apparently I missed the memo where these things actually physically hurt.


It hasn't sunk in yet.
I keep hoping it was a bad dream or some kind of sick joke.
I would love to go to sleep for a few days and wake up and forget it ever happened.

And I'm sure for everyone else it was hilarious.
I felt silly. Next year, I'm going out of town.

Allen and I dyed my hair orange and pinkish red last Friday.
That was definitely a sight to see. And we made quite the mess.

And Sunday night I went to Capri College's website and sent an email asking for info and such.
The next day my phone received a voicemail from there telling me I should sign up for the August 18th class.
And last night a lady called my house phone and left a message telling me to call and schedule an all day tour thing.
And today I recieved my information from Capri.
It contained a super fancy brochure, the schedule for cosmetology student, the tuition pricings, and an application.

And I was looking at the schedule. And I did the math and realized I would only be able to work on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays for the first 8 weeks there.
And for the rest of the time I would have some Saturdays and every Sunday to work. And, I think depending on your advanced schedule, some Mondays.
The thing is I have things to pay for.
Like my car. And gas. And my phone. And insurance.
But the severe cut in hours at Bethany wouldn't be able to cover all those.
It's confusing.

In other more cheerful news, I've been on vacation for the past nine days and even though I go back tomorrow, I'm pretty excited to finally have something to do.
I've recently managed to clean my whole house and do almost all of the laundry. (I've one more load to do!}
My parents went to Michigan to visit my relatives and they'll be back Friday sometime.
As much as their presence irritates me sometimes, as I know mine does to them, I'm kind of excited they're coming back. Being out in the middle of nowhere by yourself gets kind of lonely.

a few unimportant things. the hair is currently brown, pink/orange, and purple. i got another tattoo last thursday and it is kind of on the itchy side at this second. i just saw marley and me and i've decided that it's the saddest movie ever. even i cried. we own our house, as of this morning. we've never owned a home ever, so i guess that's not really unimportant.

hm. dairy queen re-opened once again a few weeks ago. it's been over a year since the important opening <3 he's precious.

i've got a concert and maybe two coming up in may. they're three days apart. the first, i'm going for sure. the second, it all depends on if the schedule stays the same. i'm keeping my fingers crossed.

i work too much. i'm itching to get out of town. maybe in april? who knows.

so the question people wont stop asking me when they hear i graduated in may is "what's your major?"

and, much to their disappointment, i don't have one.
and all these people ask me what i'm in school for then, if i don't have one.

i'm not in school, kids. sorry.

however, this is what i do with my day.

i look for a full-time job.
i occasionally work. (my hours were cut. lovely, i know)
i eat. sleep. donate plasma twice a week.
i plot new ways to make my car and phone payments.
i plot new ways to get my next meal now that there are cameras at work and i can no longer sneak one from the kitchen.


i know, it's a full filling lifestyle, but i don't mind it most days.

but, kids, my days of doing nothing wont last forever.
and i'm not too worried about completely failing at life.

i've decided i might give doing hair for a living a shot.
or maybe i could be a crazed college professor.
or i could work in advertising.
i don't know.
i could also do the thing where i don't have a career and i work odd jobs and such just so i can do things like travel and go to concerts.

i'm not going to worry about it too much right now.

and speaking of concerts...

i'm going to a concert in a week. it's in minnesota and i'm pretty excited about it.

in case you dont know who that is, i'mnot going to leave you high and dry.
gandalf was my first car. the thing was like, my best friend. if it were legal, i would've married him.
but he was tragically killed in a car accident back in april.

about a week ago i got a new car. her name is eleanor. she's a white 05 malibu. she's sexy. i love her dearly. but i dont know her well enough to marry her yet.
she's brilliant though.


on saturday, it marked 4 months since the rhomberg dairy queen opened. <3

i'm looking for a new job. and i'm going to start donating plasma because i'm poor and i'm saving up for NICC and i need to pay for my car and hopefully an apartment in a couple of months.

summer's been good. one of my favorites.
it might not top last years, but it's still pretty amazing.

tonight i drank bad milk. it was gross.
i did not enjoy that. it's the 2nd time it's happened to me in the last month.

if god exists, i'm pretty sure she doesnt want me drinking milk.
i do not know why.

about three weeks ago my house got robbed. which sucks because we've been computerless up until this past weekend because my dad is borrowing a school laptop

my car broke down last tuesday when i was on a mission to buy sweeney todd. (i ended up not getting the movie until last wednesday)

i worked 18 hours this past weekend and it hurts. though mae, joey, chris, tim, and allen came out to my house in the middle of the night and visited me because they totally pwn so it's all good.

i work all the time, but i do have friday and saturday off this weekend and i'm pretty excited.

i just got through whoring your minds with some poems i did for creative writing so you should read them because i dont post anything very often anymore

and on a closing note, star wars III is on spike tv right now and i am quite amused

Me: Yes'm. I'm sick. I cant come in to work today.

Mean Boss Lady: What's wrong with you?

Me: I have a fever of 102 right now.

Mean Boss Lady: Well I guess you cant come in today.

Me: Guess not.

Mean Boss Lady: You know, this means I'll have to give you a three day suspension with no pay.

Me: What?

Mean Boss Lady: Well, a couple of weeks ago, you had pink eye and even though you had a doctor's note and I saw your eye, I'm not sure you actually had pink eye. That's minus 5 points. On Wednesday, you called in sick saying you had a fever of 101 and then someone said they saw you in the car with your mom going in the direction of your house. That takes off 10 points. And then today you said you have a fever of 102 and that takes you off another 5 points. That's grounds for suspension. Sometimes I just dont think you care about this job. You need you stop being sick or I'm going to have to cut your hours next month

Me:....Because I'm sick?

Mean Boss Lady: Yes. We shouldnt have to be short because you cant stop coughing up a lung. You need to stop being sick.

Me: ....Yeah, because I can totally just simply stop being sick....

This is merely one of many reasons why I cant stand employment. Susension for being sick is insane.

But that's only one thing. I also cant stand someone else sitting there and choosing what I do from 4:30 to 7:30 every other day of the month. Sometimes getting 8.51 and hour isnt worth it.

i dyed my hair green.....

havent updated in a while so i thought i would today since i have the time

i've been writing some stuff to put up here for a while...

havent gotten far though...i never have the time anymore....or i lose the stuff i write stuff down on.....

new meds, this kind works....yay for adhd......

i'm reading a new manga thing my friend gave me...i'm lame and cant remember the title of it though....it's cool though...very random...there's no plot to it, it's just funny...i'll return with the name of it later....the best one i've ever read though is death note. it has a very interesting plot where the main guy is given the power to choose who lives and who dies and a really awesome genius guy is trying to find out who the guy killing people is....

very intriguing....

as for books.....angels and demons, the black dahlia, the picture of dorian grey...
harry potter on july 21st....

i never get a chance to actually sit and read very often anymore but my goal is to read the books above at least once more before the end of the year.

and work, i've thought of a motto for my work "Bethany Home: where the old live to die". I thought it was catchy. kind of mean, but catchy. and true. they get forced to live there and then they die. it really sucks for them. i cant count the number of awkward moments when you tell them that they cant go home because they live there and they start crying all over the place.

gemma cant even make attempts at freedom anymore. she broke her hip a while back and then got sick about a month later and i havent seen her since december....alive, but kept in isolation...cant even go outside for a walk...not that anyone would want to go outside in this cold....but still.....maybe even a walk around the building....maybe a trip to the bird room would be nice....i know she's dying and all but she loves the bird room. she used to set the birds free because she didnt want them all pent up like she is....

but anyhooooo....yeah....other than that...i got a pay raise to $8.51....that's nice...if only the job itself didnt suck....

that's about it.

maybe i'll get around to putting some actual stuff up soon....another goal....

i also saw a feild of fireflys. it was so pretty because they were just yellow blurs b/c the car was going so fast.

i was thinking about this one time in biology when we had this lit. teacher comein and talk to us about life. i walked in before class with faces drawn on my fingers on my right hand and paper hats on each one. i was bored in the previous class so that is what i did to pass the time. i showed my friends and we all laughed and named them. i am the first to admit it was childish but this guy was mean.

he went on to tell me i was one of those kids that wasted my days away with no care or problem in the world just acting like an idiot because it was fun. he called me shallow and ignorant and stupid. i just looked at him and said "dont be so judgemental."

people can be so stupid sometimes. i am the first to admit i do some pretty stupid shit. i know i tend to come off as ignorant and shallow and childish a lot of the time but i can have an intelligent conversation and not make an idiot of myself. everyone does something stupid more than once in their lives. it just annoys me when people pre-judge others.

also, this week is spring wind week at hempstead. it is a week where on monday and friday we have two assemblys each, and the other three days we have all these activities like a variety show, debate, improv, and boat races.

today the two assemblys. the first was jim wan who is a hypnotist. he hypnotized 21 students. he made them dance, at like fishes, be afriad of things like a micrphone stand and his face. one kid pranced around on stage like a ballerina and another made out with the microphone stand because he was told it was a beautiful woman. it was great.

the second was these five improv guys called Mission Improvable. they were awesome. they were taking suggestions from people in the crowd. he took four ideas from my friend and i. we had to pick a lines from movies and they used
our idea of "I'm just a sweet transvestite". then we had to pick a fictional place that we made up and the crowd was silent except for me and caitlin for we think of places that dont exist all the time, so they used "Finlandia". next we had to pick careers and they chose our idea of psycic spoon bender. then the last idea they took from us was the thing that rowed a kayack which was an alien monkey.

we started to play Mozart and it was going good and we didnt suck for once and then she started screaming, "GET OFF THE STREETS! GET OFF THE STREETS! GET OFF THE STREETS!" over and over and over....then she stopped screaming insanities and we thought she was done scaring us when she out of nowhere in the middle of our song screeched, "EEEEEEKKKKK!!!!!"

almost the entire cello and bass sections jumped in fear and the violins and violas looked worried for her sanity.

the second one is march 16 at hempstead. we are playing about six songs including Bohemian Rhapsody and The Phantom of the Opera.

the third is april 20 at hemstead.(Tri II) we are playing The Phantom of the Opera there too.

tomorrow is early out and my school has homeroom so classes are about 20 minutes long!

my first ochestra concert is march 2nd.....i dont know what songs we are playing yet but i should know soon.

when we play those songs i hide my hat from my stand partner because when we play Bohemian Rhapsody i headbang and i sing along to both songs (quietly) so i dont lose my place in the music.

then the next day some of my cousins left and i went shopping and there was a whole incident with these two old ladies which i laugh at.then yesterday i went to a volleyball game for my cousin maddie then we left and watched mr and mrs smith.good movie.
