I'm also very happy to know that none of my homwork will be due until next year XD Even though I haven't finished homework yet that was supposed to be due last Monday

Anyway, I'll be babysitting in about 40 minutes, and then going to a Christmas dinner tonight with my parents and the families of some people they play soccer with. Tomorrow I'm working from 11 till 3:30 and then going to A Christmas Carol with Sanday at the ACT! Once at the Renkert residence, there were greetings, yadayada, watched some parade and then I saw American Pie II for the first time with my cousins. It was then that I learned things >_< about my parents that not only stunned and confused me, but also changed the way I look at them, at least for now. That's pretty much all I can say about it, though. Just.. wow.

Anyway, after dinner, which was delicious, but not important, I beautifully demonstrated a classic Thanksgiving Flop. In other words, I was passed out on the couch for a few hours because I was so full and tired. My crazy aunt then wanted me to sing for her. Repeatedly. This lasted about 10 minutes before mom finally convinced everyone we needed to leave.

We went to Happy Feet first, but drove to the wrong theater. On the way there I saw a sign that read "Lakeshore Learning Store", but the "Lakes" was out. I found it amusing. Happy Feet was pretty much amazing. I effing s!! On our way out of that movie, both my dad and Bailey farted in the elevator, but we were the only ones in there. Right as the door was opening, my mom says rather loudly, "Who farts in an elevator??!" It was the funniest thing ever, or at least all day. We watched Flushed Away second, and it wasn't as good because there were about 43 refferences to other disney movies and it got old after a while.

And that, my friends, is my entire day beginning to end. Now I'm sitting at my computer freezing even though I'm wearing knitted footies, a sweatshirt and 2 blankets on top of my normal clothing. Brrrrr. Happy (late) Thanksgiving.

Friday was the day of the game, and I wore a pretty amazing purpleish gold colored toga to school. We rehearsed for the field show during 6th period and still had some problems, so I was a little worried about that. My parents left after school (and won't be back until tomorrow o.o) so I pretty much had the house to myself all weekend as well. After school I took mom and Bailey into Woodinville and then came back home to get ready for the game. Kyle came over a little later than expected and I missed warm ups, but that's ok. The National Anthem still sounded great and I'm pretty sure my unwarm voice didn't throw off the entire choir XD THEN there was much excitement/nervousness for the first half of the game where I had to sit next to Color Guard and when Half Time came we went on the field and did the best we could (which I heard was pretty great) It was sooooo much fun, too! I was pretty much bouncing off the walls afterward. Friday night can't be explained. It was just that amazing.

SATURDAY was the day of the dance and I, being a spaz, didn't have jewelry, so Katie, Sanday, Kyle and I went to Redmond to get some. Upon returning to my house, Katie and Sanday pretty much attacked my face and hair for a couple of hours and amazafied me for the dance !! Kyle and I left for Ruby's diner, after being photographed, where he was checked out (repeatedly) by the waitress. whoohoo. We ended up arriving at the dance an hour late, but that's allright cuz it was in a barn Good times, though. The music wasn't TOO bad and there were some hella rad people there. I was glad (really glad ) to be back home afterward, though. Did you know that hot tubs are amazing? I like them a lot. I'm happy to have one.


Sunday was the not so fun day full of cleaning and taking care of little children. Tomorrow's going to be the same way, only 5 hours of it (because I get to skip first period) will be spent at school. How exciting. At least I'll have the weekend to look back on, though!

There were 45 of them and the benches in the dome were REALLY uncomfortable. Good experience though, so I'm really glad I went.

Today was the Choir I Festival and our Chamber Choir did ok. We sang well, but we only had 2 songs and neither of them were acapela. We weren't together in some parts of the first song, but that's mostly the pianist's fault. She kept changing tempo... but hey, we only practiced with her once before the performance. We meet 2 days a week after school for 1 hour so yeah. It's kinda hard to learn new songs that way.

I just finished registering for the SAT today. w00t. not really... but I really thought I should get on that. I'll be taking it on May 6th -.- Also- I applied for Girl's State. It's this government thing for the young women leaders of Washington blah blah blah. The cool thing is, if you're selected it's free and stuff and it would probably be a good experience and look good to colleges and all that junk. The bad thing is, if you're selected you have to attend for the entire week which is the week of graduation. I have like a million senior friends! (even though there are only like 180 in their graduating class.... w/e) I really don't want to miss that. What to do...

Thursday and Friday the 26th and 27th is the Clark College Jazz festival. I'm sorta looking forward to this, but not so much to the homework I'm going to have to make up because of it. It also kinda sucks that we don't get a big trip this year! I was robbed 2 years in a row gosh darnit!!!

Then, on the 30th, I am departing from Seatac at 11:30pm to arrive in Dallas at 5:08 am and then from Dallas at 6:55 am on Tuesday the 31st to Washington DC at 2:35 for the CLYC. I'll be back on Feb 5th. I am very excited for this, but I need some formal dress, so if you have any to lend that would be very nice ^^ Who knows how I'm going to do my finals ><

On Friday I went midnight bowling with a bunch of people.. you know who you are =.o and I was attacked with a highlighter. I pretty much got second to last in my first game and second place in the second one. I guess I'm just cool like that..

On Saturday there was a Christmas eve party with the extended Parish family and i got Mars Attacks in a gift exchange. I freaking love that movie!

Christmas day was spent in Bellingham with my grandparents. Lots of clothes. And a digital camera! w00t ^____^

Monday was a joyful day of ice skating with old b-ham friends and playing sorry, candyland and dora the explorer chutes and ladders. My grandfater makes the BEST spaghetti truly. After my friends left, I watched Bewitched, which was not what i expected :/ oh well though..

Aaaand today... I missed Narnia >< poo.

So the past few weeks have been so so. Halloween was pretty much yay. Especially Saturday with Andy's party and Freak Night! *dance dance dance* That was a flippin sweet experience, I must say. Not that I'm gunna do it again anytime soon... but fun nonetheless ^^

Alsoness, I got my first paycheck from reffing this year! Those are always so exciting. I do still need a real job though.. but you all don't need to hear it.

And yay for trucks exploding outside school! For those of you not in-the-know, here's what went down. There was a food truck that was misfunctioning outside the school and a piece of the engine or something caught on fire which set off the smoke alarms. Everybody had to evacuate the building, but it was during advisory so everyone thought it was just a drill untill they saw the smoke, then they knew it was serious.... DUN DUN DUN... and then there were the people who just thought "no school oportunity" right off the bat.. never know. After standing out in the rain for about 30 minutes we finally got to go into the gym. There we sat for about 45 minutes or so. yay... anyway, the principal FINALY announced there was a free day and by then there was already a plan for the group to go see Zorro XD So trucks blowing up are good for a free day for movie watching and buying birthday presents... probably for other things too but yeah. That should really happen more often.

Lastly, I'll be going to my first REAL concert next week! I'm going to see Def Leppard and some other people with my friend Kasey and a bunch of adults. No, I don't know anything they play... I'll probably recognize a couple of songs though. *shrugs* It's a start ^^

And as for right this second, apart from my hands being cold.. i mean really cold, and the fact that I have to read a book and do a project on it in the next 8 days, I'm fine.

I love them all and you should totally see them. Want to hear.. or read something funny? Well I will tell you. While in Kung Fu Hustle, right at the climax of the movie it stopped and the screen went wide and it said "you are listening to wide screen radio" Sanday and I were really confused and thought it might be part of the movie but this Chinese lady ran out of the theater to get it fixed. So, if this happens to you, the movie does NOT stop in the middle and there is probably something wrong with the film.
