as if I didn't hate our government enough



I call for an artist's strike. I know this is right after the Writer's Strike, but maybe there's no better time. They went on strike because they weren't making money that they deserved.
If this bill passes...us artists won't be able to make money from anything we make. Not just drawings and paintings, but photographs, sculptures, jewelry...everything that's considered art, you will have to PAY to own.

THIS IS AGAINST INTERNATIONAL LAW.

And U.S. Congress wants to pass this bill THIS SUMMER.

Again, I call for a strike! Let people know what a world without art would be like!

Post this Call To Arms in your journal; you never know who watches...

ok, anyways, for some odd reason, I'm nearing 1000 hits on my deviantart page. I have this odd feeling that it's mostly cause people stop by every once so often when they see my work in the short 3 seconds that it's on the front page >> and then leave. BUT for you people who do watch me, you have the oppritunity to catch the 1k kiriban and it can be anything as long as it doesn't involve a complicated background (i.e. anything more than a tree, hill, grass, flower, etc.)

on another note, I saw Christina today. omg, that girl...if I was bi, I'd go out with her << seriously. she's one of those people where you just want to be NEAR her, she's so cool. she's the kind of person who, if you randomly see her on the street, you wanna stop and talk to her. she's always smiling, and you can't help but smile too when you talk to her. she has that sort of presence that makes you feel good. and in our graduating class of '04, she was voted "Most Likely to Hug Everyone in the World." THAT is not an exaggeration. I think the only thing that's holding her back is the fact that some people MAY get freaked out if a stranger came up and hugged them << but she does have that sorta attitude, and she's just so awesome

I went home this weekend to spend time with my family (i.e. parents, grandparents, aunts and their friends) aaaand I also went to the Rennaisance Fair god, that place is so fun. kinda got messed up on the way cause of road construction >> damned orange cones. *~shoots them~*
buuut...it was so fun X3 I FINALLY got my shoulder dragon. it's a little fuzzy dragon that sits on your shoulder and you can move its head around with a little string thing. I had wanted one of those for YEARS and I finally had enough money to buy one ^^ so happy.
oh yeah, I also got a staff and a picture minor details. yup yup. <<
and then we just had fun an' all on Sunday.
Monday I dropped in on my high school (they're not on break yet) and surprised the hell out of everyone there. *~pokes Rami~* you don't remember me ;_; I so hurt.
aaand then I had two dinners cause my dad didn't believe me when I said mom was taking us all out to dinner >> silly dad.
and then today my parents forced me to take a bus down. OH HORROR!
actually it wasn't all that bad. but I'm home and happy. with...76 message centre items...yes...I have my work cut out for me.

no really. I think I'm partially deaf now.
I went to this concert last night (10 bucks for 5 bands! woo!) and not only have I gotten the smell of cigarette smoke stuck in my hair (eww! yuck!) I have this ringing that HAS NOT GONE AWAY.
but the concert was so fun XD went from 7 till 1. the bands that played were Mr. Pac Man (do the world a favor; DON'T SEE THEM), Minibosses (OMFG R0X0RZ!!!111!! >< YOU SHALL GIVE THEM YOUR SOUL!!), Necronauts (they were ok. I've heard much worse (i.e. Mr. Pac Man >> )), Peachcake (I liked the music, and they were hilarious performers XD the keyboardist person jumped off the stage, rolled, and grabbed this one's guy's leg and just wouldn't let go. so fun), and finally, POLYSICS!! straight from Japan, yo! they have cool music! so fun. I like Kayo, the keyboardist. she does all these cool sounds and a robot voice too. I bought their cd "Hey! Bob! My Friend!" there, too ^^ cds will be available in March from TOFU Records. unless you wanna get import
now for teh V-day thing:

yeah, I'm gonna die. I just failed my math test. HORRIBLY. I mean, like, I open it up, and I can't understand half the questions >< omg, YOU try to understand them! I, arrrggghhh!!! DIE! *~stabs the math test~*
and with that, I'll probably fail the whole semester, since I haven't done really well in other tests >> I'm only a freshman and I'm already in Math 120R!!! I'M NOT READY FOR IT! this isn't Pre-Calc no more, this is f*in CALCULUS! I CAN'T DO CALCULUS!! this is what I get for skipping two to four other classes << (by other classes, I mean 110, 112, 114, and so on)
and so, if I fail this course, my parents are not only taking away my FFXI, but they'll be cancelling my allowance and probably make me stop taking college. NOT FAIR. omg, you can't make someone not take college. that should be, like, against the law or something.
yeah, I'm hating my parents at the moment. I mean, real hate. not like "oh, I hate you and in two weeks I'll love you again." they just can't do that. and that Final Fantasy was a CHRISTMAS PRESENT!! no one should just take away a Christmas present from you >< it's so not fair.
I'm not sympathy fishing here, if you're wondering. I'm just letting everyone know that, while I thought I had awesome parents, THEY SUCK AND I HATE THEM. THEY SHOULD TRY DOING MY MATH TESTS AND HOMEWORK ONCE IN A WHILE! I THINK THEY WOULD FAIL TOO!!
so I think I'll do that. OMG! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
as no one knows, since I haven't told anyone yet, I'm a member of moveon.org, the democratic, or rather, anti-Bush at the moment, website/ring/movement/you get the idea.
Aanyways, yesterday, I signed my name up on one of those...things that you sign your name on << (gimmie a break, I just got out of bed), and today, I get a call. now, since my roommate has a cell phone, usually all calls on the room phone are for me, but there are those rare occasions when the front desk calls to let her know she has a package yeah
anyways, the phone rings, and since I'm up in my bunk, catching up on the funnies that my parents sent, Sammy picks up the phone, cause I'm afraid I won't get to it in time.
when she picks it up, she doesn't hand it over to me, so I assume it's for her. then I see this confused expression on her face, and, after she hangs up, I ask her what it was.
she tells me it was the Republican party reminding us to vote for Bush. XD AHAHAHAHA!!! I literally fall down laughing when I hear that. I didn't think that the Republican party would respond so strongly to me being against Bush.
ah, yes, fun stuff, fun stuff.
so now I'm in an amused mood.
Thank You, Presidant Bush, you and your cabinet have just made my day.

yeah, I know, it's a few months past the opening << but oh well, TASS just showed it, uh, last weekend >> and, wow, I say it was the best movie yet.

so, Inunotaishou died 200 years ago o_o which means Inuyasha is (minus the 50 years he spent nailed to a tree) 150 years old. damn >> this show is just full of pedos. and that means that Sesshoumaru is at least 300 o.o
and I thought it was great, how they left Tenseiga to Sesshoumaru XD the plaque literally read "To Sesshoumaru" and yes, in English, too o_o which is confusing, cause this is feudal Japan. >> where are all the English people?
ah well, it was cute ^^ and Inuyasha got to see his father

well, anyways, the movie was "Debbie Does Dallas" for any of you pr0n fans out there a "classic" I'm told. it was hilarious. no plot whatsoever XD and watching porn with guys is actually pretty fun o_o I mean, I'd be embarrassed to make stupid comments about it, but guys, being guys, don't get embarrassed about nothin' and they turned the whole thing into an MST XD it was so great.

Tuesday. OMG I BEAT CHRONO CROSS.
yes, I was feeling uber depressed, so I sat down and played Chrono Cross, yelled at the strategy guide for exaggerating the boss battles.
yeah, here's how you defeat the TimeDevourer (first one) the easy way. my party consisted of Serge, Kid, and Glenn. I equipped Glenn with Genie and RedField and Kid with Salamander and GreenField. Serge, I loaded up with every element I could get my hands on >> including the almighty HolyHealing and UltraNova when it starts out white, of course, you just do physical attacks and low level elements to advance to the next area. when it's yellow, have Kid cast GreenField (just put this on the lowest element grid possible, since it'll turn the field green no matter what ) then, have Glenn summon Genie. BOOM 2000+ damage. do a few more physical attacks to bring the element level back up and you're good to move on to the next round o_o TSUGI! (next) when the dragon's innate is blue, have Glenn cast RedField (also should be on lowest setting as possible) and have Kid summon Salamander. BOOM another 2000+ damage build up elements again. during the black innate, have Glenn and Kid fire PhotonRays, then have Serge summon Saints (this can all be done in one turn if you keep Serge's element power at 8 before this battle) again, 2000+ damage. build up elements again and you're back where you started. NOW unleash every single black element you have on the dragon. since you start THAT battle with level 8, fire the high level elements first, such as Freefall (you know, I equipped that like crazy, I even had a few Freefall +1 allocated o_o) and just keep using elements and be like BAM! YOU'RE DEAD! and guess what? it is o.o
wow, sorry for that lengthy cheat-thingy, but that's what I did, and all-in-all, that battle took less than 2 minutes on each innate.
and LAVOS. oh my god was he annoying >< kept on casting green elements, so I finally got fed up with waiting, and started the sequence on my own. THEN he casts a yellow element, so I have to start all over! well good news is, since all I used were level 1 elements, the stamina always got back up by the time it was their turn again, and Serge was only a stage 2 hit away from ChronoCross then I cried at the ending; it was so sad ;_; but now I'm on a New Game + so yay! o_o

Wednesday...uh...nothing happened >> same old, same old

I just watched the Naruto Movie Special, which tells us how the movie is made, introduces the seiyuus (voice actors), and shows about half the movie. well, the important parts, at least
well, the obvious parts didn't break my heart, but I found out what the seiyuus looked like ;_;
Naruto is voiced by a girl (no surprise there), but Sasuke, my dear Sasuke ;_; *~cries~* is voiced by a 40-year-old or so x_x ugly man. same with Kakashi. OMG their seiyuus do not even stand up to the hotness that is Sasuke and Kakashi. cleaning my room is actually kinda fun o_o but it all really does bring me closer to the realization that I'm moving outttt... o.o wow. I'm gonna miss this computer!! ;o;

the first monsoon of the season has struck! it's late again << but it's about 2 weeks earlier than the past 3 years! so I won't complain
usually how monsoons come in and all, just, like, maybe a few lightning off in the distance but a few showers and sprinkles here in the valley.
nope, not this time.

STORY TIME!
I was leaving the comp room, going into the kitchen to put my dishes away. yeah, this is at 10 at night << I'm a night owl so
coming back out, I see two very large, very bright flashes out the back door window thing o.o and I scream LIGHTNING! YAY! and my dad goes yeah, lightning.
well anyways, I finally get the computer back for the night and my parents go to bed and all. THEN the thunder starts; faint at first. (yeah, down here, we see lightning LONG before we hear thunder) and the wind picked up, severely.
the rain starts at about 10:45 pm and it comes down HARD! so that's when I decide to turn the computer off master power for compy went off too >> and I go to bed.
by 11, the rain is pounding against my window, and there are very bright flashes of lightning preventing me from going to sleep (or maybe it's the fact that I'm going to bed early << and the thunder is quite loud for being 14 seconds away (too lazy to do conversion )
at 11:15, the storm has moved to 9 seconds away
and then, at 11:30, the storm is on top of us o_o
and then at 11:45 the lightning and thunder and heavy rain leaves us and I go to bed. yeah, boring, I know tough!
but again at, oh, um, I don't know, never looked at my clock o_o the storm starts back up again. and it's bigger than before! ^o^ I think it was at 4, cause the power went off there << didn't come back on till 5
ok, end of story. there's not even one PUDDLE on the ground to signify that there had been a storm last night >< and the only clouds in the sky are back at the corners of the valley -.- sucks, don't it?

but I hope it happens again :3
