I just found out that I will be attending Sakura-con http://www.sakuracon.org/ this weekend!

At a young age I began to notice this difference. I was attracted to neither boys nor girls. In middle school, I liked math, and in college, I did my homework all night long.

    My excellent roommate and friends will be teaching a comics class this semester :D I will not be teaching it myself (though I might visit from time to time to pester them lol). If I ever make an art book, I would want the title to be Avant-Kitsch. It's an oxymoron of the art terms avant-garde and kitsch. There's no formal definition for Avant-Kitsch since… well, I kind of just made it up the other day XD
The definitions of avant-garde and kitsch are both hotly debated, but in general, avant-garde is considered to be high quality art with revolutionary concepts that rebels against existing art forms.
