Beginning today, I'll be taking care of school secretary's puppy, and get paid for it!

The puppy's name is Priscilla, and she's unbelievably cute. We don't know what breed she is, but I have strong suspicions that she may be a Shih Tzu. She's quite friendly and playful with our two dogs, even though they've been a little rough on her so far. Oh, and she's not quite housebroken...

I don't know how long I'll have to care for her -- at least until she's mature enough to be left at her own home... But for now, Mom and I are very delighted to have her from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m, from Monday to Friday!

Just over an hour ago, I was greeted with an unexpected morning surprise.

I was still struggling with my sleeping schedule, as I got up from my bed. I went out the door, and I noticed Mom, accompanied by my dog Gracie, summoning. A unidentified puppy popped into view, and I gasped. I quickly got myself dressed, and returned to the hall as the puppy trotted toward me.

Apparently the puppy's a hybrid of Jack Russell terrier and Chihuahua. Unlike our two dogs, she's very sweet -- and tiny. As I petted and cuddled her, Mom told me the story: one of her neighbors' son found the puppy last night. She was very dirty, and caked with dried mud. They couldn't care for her, because the mother was too old. And so she's currently under our care, while they searched for her owner (and they still are.)

If they can't locate her owner... then what will we do with the puppy? I'd love to own her, but we've already got two dogs -- which are difficult enough to take care of.

EDIT: They've finally found her owner, and the puppy's name is Ginger. I'm happy for her being reunited with her owner, but Mom is not. She's grown very attached to the puppy, and she can't bear being separated from her.

Evidently, the abrupt change from my home life to college life is too much for me, and that I was so ill-prepared. I got so very depressed, so Mom and I consulted the director of Student Disability Services, Lita, to request an immediate withdrawal. After that, we packed all of my stuff back into the van and checked out of the dorm. I didn't even go to any classes.

Here I am, back home and much happier. I don't know how long it will be before I go back. However, I think I may need more training on living independently. I mean, I've lived my whole life practically insulated, and I've always relied on my parents for everything. I know that I can't be forever dependent on my only living parent...

But I know one thing for sure: I won't give up on the college of my dreams. I've worked so hard to get accepted and to learn everything I'll need to become a cartoonist. Yet I've withdrew from college on the first day of classes due to personal issues. I may need more time to prepare myself for college life, but I really don't want to miss out on exciting stuff college has to offer. I will be back someday.

First, I'd like to thank , , , and for their help on my computer issues!

Now, the main point in this entry: my life in college is about to begin. Tomorrow -- or Thursday if preferred -- my mother and I'll have packed everything I need, including this dear old PC, and go on a long drive to Savannah. This Saturday, I'll be checking into my assigned dormitory room for the fall quarter. After that, we'll be attending the college orientation. Come Sunday, I'll be on my own, as Mom'll have to leave me there. Finally, classes'll begin on Monday.

I tell you this: I'll be offline for a few days. I promise to get back online as soon as possible -- once I somehow manage to reconnect my PC and stuff in my room

1. I seem to have a bit of hair/beard fetish when it comes to my preferences on guys. The hairier, the better.

3. I used to draw in anime style, but once anime and manga had gone mainstream, I abandoned it in favor of a more Western cartoon look. I don't like to be a conformist.

Just today, a mystery package came in, mailed especially for me. I took some time to cut the package open, and it wasn't what I expected.

A Wacom tablet! It was sent in by one of my cousins, George. He sent this package as a present to me, because of my graduation and acceptance from a college of my choice

I haven't installed the tablet as I write this entry...I hope I will find it more useful than my current optical mouse.

Just a few minutes ago, my father was hauled to a hospital, accompanied by my worried mother. I was left here to look after the house.

Earlier, while I was watching Discovery Channel in the kitchen/dining area, Dad entered the room and startled me. He said he wasn't feeling well. It must be that pesky old stomach flu, I assumed.

Just over 30 minutes ago, after I was done catching up on the miniseries "Planet Earth" and grooming myself in the bathroom a bit, I saw Mom, panicking and holding a wireless phone. Seconds later, a troop of medics, fire-rescue personnels, and policemen arrived in our house. Mom and I restrained our dogs (they tend to get excited upon meeting new people) while the men checked up on Dad, who passed out. She was sobbing as she was being interviewed by a couple of guys.

Of course, one side of myself was also upset about the incident. Another side wasn't so sympathetic. I mean, my relationship with Dad has been swinging from friendly to hostile too many times. I even explicitly wished that he would be dead, so I wouldn't have to put up with his arrogance. Yet...that incident caused me to reflect differently than usual.

It's odd -- just this afternoon, Dad was totally fine, even at the age of 65 years. While we were in Barnes & Noble, which just recently opened, he was able to enjoy himself. How can that be?

UPDATE: Dad didn't make it. He died of a heart attack or something like that. Now that's even more unreal to me...

I've never seen anything like this.

Just less than two hours ago, we were in our school cafeteria for an early lunch -- today was a half day for us. Ham and cheese sandwich...what an effing bland meal but at least toothpick-thin fries, fat baby carrots with ranch dressing, and strawberry yogurt were yummy. I joined a table full of junior gals, and soon this obnoxious, fugly sophomore girl came to our table. I grumbled as I ate.

I'd only ate a few spoonfuls of yogurt when I felt full. I took the tray, and as I was about to exit the section of the cafeteria to the tray window, I ran into a red-headed junior. She looked horrified, so I turned to see what was scaring her.

That's when all hell broke loose. There was a major food fight, and it lasted mere seconds. I then ran to the tray window and discarded all of the scraps.

I returned to the scene, and it looked like a war zone. Splattered ketchup, scattered fries, and crushed Styrofoam plates and dishes everywhere. I approached to the table which I ate at, and there were a bunch of girls hiding under it. Fortunately, my coat which I had left on the chair wasn't a bit ruined.

Of course, everyone was stunned. I asked this one obnoxious, fugly sophomore boy, "What the hell happened?"

"There was a food fight..." he replied.

Food fight? It occasionally happens, but they're always minor -- never anything as catastrophic as this.

We were told to move to another section of the cafeteria -- right next to the war zone. I tip-toed to avoid the mess on the floor. For some 15 minutes, we watched the guilty kids who were involved clean up their mess. Once it was over, we all left the cafeteria for home.

Wow...just wow. Almost seven years at that school, and we've never seen anything remotely as chaotic as that.

Have you ever seen something like that?

Well, I have a few words to express my thoughts on tonight's Fairly OddParents episode "Fairy Idol." WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD.

To put it simply, it's helluva adventure. @_@ While watching it, I've got myself a little lost in an entire storyline, especially the whole fairy godparents thing. This and that and this and that and this and that--- x_X; we're not in Kansas anymore.

There's one thing I've didn't expect to transpire on the episode: the tragic moments. Especially the parts about Timmy and his dear godparents being unjustly separated by some stupid misunderstanding (a.k.a. Timmy's malicious clone created by Norm the Genie.) They then go a long, long way to reunion Admittedly, I rather like it when there's a serious moment taking place in Fairly OddParents---that makes me enjoy the cartoon better than usual. That or I'm a huge sucker for oh-woe-is-me-oh-dramatize (in a geniune way) events in otherwise comedic cartoons, and have always wished for such stuff. Oh, and I once had this fanfic idea where Cosmo and Wanda bluntly abandon Timmy and leave him marooned on Fairyworld...... quite similar to the episode o.O Didn't see that coming.

Now, about the characters......we've got quite a nice number of appearances
From major supporting characters to teeny weeny cameos. There's Wandissimo, Cupid, the Tooth Fairy, April Fool, Binky Adbul (his last name revealed here ), Blonda (wait a minute, she's not blonde?), Sanderson, Simon, and let's not forget Norm. You know something? I'm officially a fangirl of that jerky-in-an-AWESOME-way genie.... thanks to and ! Anyway, it was fun to see a diversity of characters.

Before I conclude....I just freaking love the warming, family-like moments between Timmy & his godparents and some pleasant Cosmo/Wanda fluff! Man, I need more heavy doses of C/W fluff in my blood Plus, it's good to see Timmy see the error of his ways, such as selfishness _{(as explicitly shown in seasons 5 and 6 episodes <_< )} and I hope Timmy really learns how to be kind to his fairies once again.

I give this one-hour special...... and it's really worth watching Norm in his bare glory than American Idol. Really. Believe me, American Idol is just pointless except for shamelessly criticizing singers. (hey, I'm deaf in both ears, but still....)

M'kay, today's my granny's 70th birthday. Ugh, I hate having to go to family outings; I'm a loner. I'm waiting 'til I move outta my parents' house, then I won't have to attend family activities for a while. I've developed bitter relationships with Granny :\ I sorta dislike her.
