Oh my God... the new Macross series is going to end and (to me) it seems a bit
over-planned. I really loved the old Macross Do You Remember Love and the TV
series. After that the Macross Plus was the first that inherited the vision
properly.. you can guess i'm not a fan of Macross 7 at all. And the Macross Zero
series was... quite good to watch, especially the CG Valkyrie fights, but nothing
more.

This Frontier started well,but now.. they killed one of my favourite char, Michel.
Ranka went completelly puppetish, Brera Sterne and his red VF-27 went Cyborg-Remote-
O-Matic, all the storyline goes wild.. Good news, Sherly Nome still lives :) :)

I wonder what will happen to our heroes.... i hope for some better ending than it
seems actually.

Recent News


So, i had enough time to show some progress and make some CSS. Unfortunately, i made a fatal error (actually let my Akita Inu close to my computer, so i had to rewrite everything...

...and borrow a sample code for now (all credits goes to the ones who made it, ofc ) with a Pandaren theme. I loved Pandarens in Warcraft III, so it was quiter an easy choice. Not to mention the cuteness of the design :)

My small project, the PixelStorm gone Online, so if anyone needs some 2D/3D work or animations/special effects, drop me a line and we'll talk about it.

Actually i'm working on a small ad video, advertising my touge/streetracing team, the Bushido. But that is something i'll post later... cuz we still working on the general logo :)

:icongppr: ~gppr who is best decsribed by... ohmigod-she-z-a-goddess :) I found her while i searched for Robotech themed art (didn't i mention that i'm a quite serios Robotech fan ? :) ) and i think she is one of the best all around here. Especially when it comes to Max and Mirya... or even Lisa and Rick.

:iconhito76:*Hito76 Holy Goodness! StarGate! :) First i found her work when i searched for some O'Neill / Teal'c / Carter themed work.. and then i landed watching her works... amazed. Harry Potter galore, mucho grande gallery and perfect work. Just the one i like :) She have lots fo funny images as well as serious one. ( I still love the Lupin/Tonks pair :) )

:iconomar-dogan: *Omar-Dogan Eh.. what can i say? Salaam Aleikum, most brightest effendi. (or whatever, i'm really suck at arabic.. but i'll try to improve :) ) His work as well as *UdonCrew (he is the founder of it) is fantastic, covering the comics and manga universe well enough. They produced interesting and inspiring art - at a professional level. Worth seeing for everyone!

I staqrted a fan comic in my free time : the Ctrl+Q (named after the Quit combination in EVE Online, and after a guy in my corp the HUN Corp. (HUNgarians, not the scottish soccer fans! :P ))
Nothing much to say..i'm knee deep in blo.. not exactly...work..yes that's the word! :D So, i'll post some updates as soon as possible...

I still have mixed feelings about that movie. The CGI was damn good, the story was crap...
The girls was sexy but most of the transformers was... changed. And i'm not sure that i like the new design... Okay, i just loved Optimus Prime, Bumblebee (even he's a Camaro now) and Barricade (Saleen S281 Mustang ftw..)...

So, i bet i'll go to the movie again and give it another shot.... i just watched the old Transformers anime today (i missed the scheming style of Starscream and the other guys from the movie...)...so...

Ghost Rider : really entertaining, i loved the Texas Ghost Rider Ranger .. Carter Slade For the win :) Nicholas Cage wasn't that bad..so, it's a 8/10 movie for me.
House of the Dead 2 : B-category teen horror ResidentEvil wannabe. Huh, blood and half naked girls galore. Go Go FanService :) 6/10.

Now, i think its time to continue to work on this Robotech issue...

New Year - New Project(s)...

I just got the brand new ROBOTECH: The Shadow Chronicles lately...
Years earlier i modelled lots of Macross mecha in Lightwave, but Robotech was always my favourite. Not because its american (i love anime, more than cartoons) but because somehow it was more... life-like.
So i modelled a VF-11b and soon after a YF-19 (that was one of my favs from the macross genre, second to VF-1S)... and i planned to make my totally favourite : the Legios -> The Alpha-Beta Combined Veritech.

Life came in and another projects came. For real. All of this was delayed.

Now i have a bit more time as my life got better organized, so i turned back to the two things i wanted to do for a long time :

A) Making a Manga. I have two ideas in mind, one Robotech and one fantasy. We'll see what will be done sooner :)

B) Robotech Fan Film. I have a few people who are eager to get a role in that and a few more who can edit, shoot and one to produce the movie. I still need more people to do the 3D modelling work, but hey, we all have time :)

So, if any of you, dead readers of dA want to join in any of them, feel free to tag along :) All of it will be non-profit. I'd like to share things with others who might learn something.. as i did.. and as i do actually.
