As you may have noticed, it's been a fairly quiet last few months.  I've been fairly busy with a slew of non-art related things for quite some time, and it has been very difficult to get any traction on various creative projects I've had in the pipeline.

Last weekend I went to Squaw Valley and hiked 13 miles, with a 2700 ft vertical rise and drop (starting at 6200 feet above sea level) with a collection of rather odd obstacles designed by a retired British SAS officer.  All in all, I got a little hobbled half-way through, but still managed to complete it in just over 6 hours.

I have a showing at the Barefoot Coffee Bar in Santa Clara.  This time with two pieces that are un-pubbed before their appearance there.  A pair of "sextychs" (single works composed on six contiguous units; in this case, a 2 x 3 arrangement of 18" square masonite sheets).  I would like to do more of these.

As a side note, I will likely make a :devResurgere: pack of texture samples from these two works for use by the general public on some kind of Creative Commons license in the near future.

Been a little under the weather, been a little over my head.  Finished my Introduction to California Law and Legal Research & Writing courses on a high note, so that is always good.

I have no less than 7 near completed works, so we'll actually see something new around this user page soon enough. One is a commission.

I have some new leads of cafe shows to put myself and/or others from DA in.  I will be sending out contact emails and letters probably week after next, as I need to do some research on the venues before I try to pitch the idea of DA prints as a showcase.

I have been bombarded by a rash of notes (among other things) about why I picked such an underdeveloped image for a DD.  Given what I normally select, it certainly falls far off the reservation.
