I'm also getting another Chinese Crested Puppy!!! I was looking at rescues, but I also contacted Niko's breeder. She e-mailed back and I was surpirised and delighted to find out that Niko's Brother (littermate) Stormy is available. He was showing and supposed to go to England, but his bite went off and now I have the honor of getting him! I get to meet him tomorrow and I wonder if the two will remember each other

Holy crap, everyone on here go and support Repo! The Genetic Opera. Terrance and Darren deserve it, they have done something absolutely fantastic with this film.

I got to see it last night at the Road Tour in Boston. It was so much fun, we showed up 4 hours early. We ate dinner and got in line for two hours in the freezing cold. There were coruses of "ZYDRATE comes in a little glass bottle! " and "MARK IT UP!" and over 400 people dressed up for the event as well as multiple people in costumes. I went with Repo written across my face, (pictures to come later) and had my picture take by both Darren (director of saw and director or REPO!) and Terrance (co-creator and artist/songwriter/ co-starof REPO!). They showed up while everyone was in line, and had conversations with the fans, while Terrance started up another round of Zydrate. I got to talk to him for a bit as well, and gave hom a copy of my portfolio, then sparky and I got pictures with the two of them. I bought a mini poster then it was time to go in and see the movie.

People were riled up, and cheers issued as the lights dimmed... and after each title rolled. XD Everyone was so into it, and the participation was great! Lines such as:

Shilo: I have a blood disease!
Fan: It's Called AIDS!

*Amber sweet turns around to show the camera her face*
Fan: SEE! HERPES!

*Shilo is holding Nathan*
Fan: My name is Shilo Wallace, you killed my father. Prepare to die!!

these were constantly screamed through the movie, as well as people singing along to every song

Afterwards there was a Q&A with two drunk directors and a screaming audience. Madness insued. The directors also got calls from Ogre and Vega and put the on speaker phone while the audience cheered. We also got Terrance to scream "Graaaaaves"

Then on to the autograph session. I got my mini poster signed and Terrance commented on my portfolio which he apparently showed to Dareen *glee* and he told me to get it out to as many people as I could. Then sparky and I got a hug and a kiss from Terrance and went home and died happily. The end.

I've been a bit sad and down on my art lately, but looking through my gallery since I've been on DA till now, and there really has been some improvement (at least I'm hoping). While I'm nowhere near where I want to be, I still think I've come a long way. I'm just trying to find the time (and more so the energy) to do pieces for myself and improve my portfolio.

There were also a lot of comments left by people, and a lot I didn't get back to. I must apologize for that, but I've read every one of them, and I really appreciate them.

and yes, because I don't need to contribute any more drama to the internet, I will delete this soon. It just sometimes feels good to say something.

I just got finished watching the ALW movie again, and ok, I have to admit, Gerik isn't that bad. I swear it's just the sunburn that bugs the hell out of me, and I let it ruin a lot of the movie for me. It's just a different Erik from mine (which tends to lean towards leroux). I hope I didn't offend anyone.

Ohh, I know my art on here hasn't been that "pop" like. (Bright colors and such) so if you don't like that new stuff hang in there and I'll have some new pictures for you.

I am going to apologize right now because I usually dislike rants and I actually don't mind if you like this.

Soooooo... To my main point (and don't ask me why I feel like typing this, could be the wine) I AM FREAKING SICK OF GERIK. I know the ALW 2004 phantom movie is the bee's knees to a lot of people, but come on. Sex-i-fying Erik... did it need to be done? No. He is sexy in his own way as is. As much as Gerard Butler is a good actor, he is not a good singer, and come on- what is with the wailing guitars in the "phantom of the opera" song?? I think the worst was the horrible/retched 3rd degree sunburn that forced him to live his life under the opera. In the end it was like "come on, I'll take all that other crap you pulled if it's for a decent reason, but no, your just as much a fop as Raoul is and you have no excuse". AND you look like Brendan Fraiser with that make up... and that's just weird. And dude Erik- your lair is full of bling(yes I just used that word) What are you whining about????

So.. to say the least I am sick of seeing fanfiction of the ALW movie. I'm cool with just about any other version, but PLEASE no more gerik... That's all I ask of you.

Anyway, is anyone here familiar with the book series Twilight? I am huge vampire fan, but I was a little nervous abot it (mainly the teen audience). I don't normally read young adult novels, but I even caught my aunt reading this one. Apparently there is this huge fan base that I knew nothing about(save for seeing the books EVERYWHERE) and there is even a movie being made. So, not to be left out of any awesome vampire craze, naturally I jumped on bored. (three days ago, lol!) and I've gotten through two and a half of the books. I like them a lot, even though they aren't as original as people are making them out to be. (they also fall prey to horrid teen angst too) but they are strangly addicting! Now I hear that the fourth comes out tomorrow night, and that the local borders has a party for it. Now I loved going to the HP parties (and I miss it), so I was considering it. I don't know how large the fan base is though, and if I would be stupid and too old to dress up. It sounds fun tho, any input?

and Dresden books should have parties when they come out. THAT would be awesome.

oh, and speaking of vampires, has anyone seen the preview for Trueblood on HBO? No matter how much I hate Anna Paquin and the character Bill, I LOVE this book series (second to Dresden). It looks like it's going to be sooooo good !XD

And yes, I doubt anyone's noticed, but I've been on a huge moonlight kick. My god do I love this show... and it keeps getting better and better! Alex is adorable, and I just watched him in Mary Bryant recently too. I really reccomend that movie... it's wonderful.

I love you guys so much! Thank for submiting such awesome pictures to my contest. ^^ (and I love how creative people are being. )

Also, I wanted to apologize for the lack of entries recently. I've been insanely busy with trying to fiish this coloring book I'm doing. Now, though, I've started classes again, and I have an assignment to do 5 sketchbook drawings a week. SOOO, be prepared for updates!

Ok, ok, I give in, I've been tagged.

The 1st player of this "game" starts with the topic:
"6 weird habits/things/hates about yourself" and people who get tagged MUST write a journal about their 6 weird habits/things/hates as well as state this rule clearly. 1.) I take REALLY long showers. It's my favortie place to go when I'm stressed. I also always come up with my best ideas in the shower as well.

2.) My excuse for taking really long showers is that I found a trap door to Africa in the bathtub. My little brother doesn't believe me.

3.) I LOATHE getting wet. The only time its ok is when I'm : a.) bathing or b.) Wearing some type of swimwear.

4.)I twirl my hair around my finger whenever I feel tired or unsafe.

5.) I love wearing boots. I'm not talking about combat boots though, I mean fashion boots, high heels and all. I've been told a bunch that I , number one, should not be wearing high heels (I'm 5'91/2") and two, that I'm probably very uncomfortable and just doing it for the look. In truth I prefer heels to flats. So there.

6.) I prefer the dark. Unless it's sunlight, I don't really care for it. Florecent lights always bothers my eyes, and I always prefer reading in dim light. Love that sunlight though.

7.) I'm typing this on a mac, and my fingers aren't used to the keyboard, so ignore the typos.

Anyway, as you see I have been uploading, AND I'm updating my journal. I also just got back from going to Disney (Love for Mary Blair!) and also going to Otakon. I felt so special, Sparky and I dressed as characters from the Labyrinth, and were mobbed for pictures!!! I was Jareth and it was so much fun to walk around the con acting like a arrogant bastrd the whole time. Apparently our costumes were pretty sweet though, because we were also shown on the pre-masquerade vid!

Last thing, and I have to say this... The people I work with... *le sigh* I was on break and this one lady comes up to me, and asks me if I've seen the silent hill movie, and of course I said yes. I am also happy because I am finally finished with all of my college applications, those took forever. I already got one acceptance letter, but I am still waiting on the rest.

In other news, one of my friends has just come back from her trip to Argentina! I am so happy! We are going to go and see Brother Bear this weekend! Has anyone seen it yet?

Oh, I also heard a rumor that they are making a second nightmare before christmas. Is this true???? I really hope so!
