                <description><![CDATA[ <b>Hey.</b><br /><br />First deviantART journal post, w00t.<br /><br />Today I realized how much time deviantART can suck out of your day...and I'm just getting started.<br />Well, I rationalize it cause I finally deleted my MySpace that I haven't used for a year or two anyways.<br />Oh well. (note: I am horrible with time management :/)<br /><br />Soon to come - my artwork from Intro to Drawing classes...fun fun.  My friend Luke (aka <a href="http://pinkpanther21.deviantart.com/">~PinkPanther21</a>) kindly shot my work with his fancy new Canon, so those will be sweet.<br /><br />This is my first year in the art program, and I'm rather encouraged at my progress so far.  Over the summer, if you had asked me to draw a shaded still life with atmospheric perspective and correct proportions, I doubt I could have.  It's really great to see that I am learning, even if it feels like drudgery most of the time.<br /><br /><blockquote>"But it's not just learning things that's important.
