It's been about 7 months since I've let anyone know whats going on, I should probably let everyone in on a few things. We finally launched our new site at Beatport. I will have my portfolio up shortly (for real). There have been a few side contract jobs I've been doing, a few for couple web2.0 start-ups that will be able to talk about shortly, and a few other companies such as Wacom.

I will also be posting more work that I've done over these past few months here soon. I just don't want to spoil everything and have it all appear on one place other than my site that has had a splash page for the past 3 years.

I would like to share the news of Evoke's latest release (XVI) entitled, Zen. A interesting look at a base of talented individuals shaping their works around the theme of Zen. A nice blend of varried sytles and visualizations, not to mention a nice mix of audio tracks. So stop by and take a moment to view this exhibition. I included another work for this release, this one is featured in the spotlight.

Also, the May First Reboot is coming. I'm really hoping to have a slick, full working site up within this coming month. Expect a few new releases coming as well. The end of my semester at RMCAD and work at beatport has time on the sidelines, not leaving me enough time to produce. That'll all change here in a couple weeks.

Trent Reznor came out with an instrumental only release that is worth listening to. Only $5 gets you 36 tracks of goodness. What is even better is that Trent is teaming up with youtube for a NIN film festival around this album. "The concept is for you to take whatever tracks you feel inspired by and create what you feel should accompany them visually. You will be able to see all of the submissions, and a team (including Trent) will be sorting through them and setting aside ones they feel are exceptional. Eventually (within a couple of months?) we hope to present a virtual "film festival" with Trent and some special guests presenting selections of your work."

Even though Clinton has the lead, it seems that Obama keeps catching up while Hillary doesn't seem to gain new ground. Hopefully he can rack up some more super delegates top her off. My Republican man is Ron Paul. Talk about truthful, that guy tells how it is.

Now with the Republican race ever close, what do you guys think is going to happen? Will we see an Obama / Clinton , or Clinton / Obama ticket? Along with a McCain / Huckabee , or McCain / Romnee ticket? To me it seems that both parties are having a little trouble gaining the support of the country. With the exception of the Hillary/Obama showdown. It seems the race there is almost dead even.

And does anyone know when the writers strike is going to end? I'm miss those episodes of "the office" and "24". Instead we are left with quite shitty television, jam packed with horrible shows of what media depicts as reality tv.

Someone negotiate with those people in Hollywood.

Moving to Denver in about a month, going to continue studies at RMCAD out there. Living right in the heart of the city, should be exciting. Gonna go see Stanton "the man" Friedman the 10th too, should also be exciting if any of you know him.

Been busy a bit with a Half Life 2 mod, doing some concept and design work. Recently snatched a couple contracts through NRG Innovations (after market car parts) Disney Records and Hugos Restaurant, both based in Hollywood CA. Now I just gotta find the celebs that go there.

Bohemica broke up for some reason, and since Oxy is defunct, It looks like I'm out of the group scene for awhile. Got a chance to meet many great designers but, time to move on.


Shadowness is up and going again. Meng Tu really did refresh it up nicely. I've been featured on there already a few times, along with Ikaruga, Nelson B Junior, and a few others.

Annnnd finishing up on a few more personal works, one featuring the help of Kevin Minnis and Destill once again.

Second, I am now a Developer and Concept Artist for "Operation Black Mesa". And for those of you who are old half life junkies and played Opposing Force, prepare to be amazed. A total remake of the game is going underway with the "Source" engine that powers half life 2. I'm really excited about this. All new single player and multiplayer experience. Captin America Died, 32 people died at a Virginia Tech shooting, it was about 30 degrees for a week before it was 82 for 2 weeks straight, experienced record rains, found out I'll be moving to Denver in June to continue studies at RMCAD, went to a massive party last weekend, and Don Imus got fired for making racial comments.


First off, global warming sucks, second I'm not so certain Don Imus should have been fired. Why wasn't Al Sharptin fired for making those comments about those Duke Lacross players who's charges were dropped all together. And third, how can we fight global terrorists when we have our own terrorists shooting dozens of school students? Something is wrong here.

As far as work goes, I've been extremely busy making $ from client work and contracts. Will have some time soon to finish up some extra personal work and collabs with J3 concepts and Kara Singh.

Been busy with my own work, and doing work for others, to sum it up real nice.

Mike Harrison and I are in Advanced Photoshop Issue 26. Go pick it up now before its too late in the UK. This issue is packed with some really nice cell shading tips and some nice stock photos.

I revamped my whole work area. New desk, supplies , and a nice Ben Q 22" Widescreen LCD has been delivered. I can do everything I want now without crying about the size limitations of a viewable work area. I sent that Acer back, this time I have HDMI! All for the same price. I'll be using this to get my site, and a few other works/jobs done a lot faster.

Thats it for awhile, just keep checking back for more things.

3 friend and I decided to take a road trip. Its about 15 degrees F. last night, and snowing pretty good. We go out on some backgrounds way out in the middle of nowhere. No phone service, houses spread out a few miles apart. Out here if you get lost, you just don't go knock on someones door. You walk until you reach a highway.

Well we knew about this millionare who lived in a castle, so we decide to look for it again. We find the road! We go through it, and the only obstacle is a creek. Well we go through it fine, then there is another one, this time it wasn't so fine. The worst happens and the water dies out the battery. So were in the middle of the creek, water almost through the door, so we all jump out, and start treking through the woods to find the main gravel road again.


We walked so far to try and get service because we weren't about to go to anyones house out here. Folks out here are known to shoot people on their land, and god knows what crazy families live out there. So we walked about a total of 2 miles, no cars in sight. As we are walking we see a light in the background. Amazingly there is a small fire going on in the middle of some guys field. I couldn't believe it. That is what really made me think we were gonna get out alive. And about a few hundred yards down from that, my phone got service! So we called a buddy who told us he'd swing buy and give us a jump.

As we go back to the fire to warm up, we decide to go ahead and wait for them a little ways back down the road. So we go back, and wait. We suddenly see a truck coming. I was a little far behind so I watched my friend run up to it. Well it wasn't them, and from what I herd the front passenger freaked out, and my buddies all ran passed the truck up the hill. The people in the truck were pissed. Meanwhile im still in the freggin woods looking at the truck, and the dumb drunks start yelling, for me to come out. I wasn't sure who it was, so I was standing there just kinda frozen like deer in headlights. When I realize it wasn't our buddies, they start moving the truck closer I ran about as fast as I could, jumped and rolled over this dead tree and started crawling. All I could hear was the guys yelling for me to come out. Then I hear shots fired! I knew they couldn't see me anymore, but I seriously thought I was going to die. As they turn on the revealing side of my body, I jump and rollover the tree again and make a run for it. I was in a dead sprint. As soon as I caught up with my friends on the other side where the road was, we see the truck that was supposedly coming to get us. We all jump in as the trucks moving, and my friend hops on back. Relief!, but the drunks turn around and start following us! In a desperate attempt to loose them, we pull a few moves and bam!, about an hour later we got the car started, and we went home.

So there you have it. I could very well be laying in a ditch somehwere with a few bullets in me. But no, I endured.

<sup>I'm building a new system. Incorperating the windows XP 64 bit edition. I'm wondering if it will be worth it. I'm not really sure I know anyone with a full 64 bit machine. Went ahead and also purchased an Intel Extreme Processor, it had better fly and do whatever I tell it for the price I paid.

Flash website in the works, maybe about half way there without the action script. Just started learning it, its a tough process.


Anyone here play Day of Defeat Source? Or any of the other new Half Life 2 deathmatch games? I would like to play a few rounds with ya. These past few nights I've gotten into them heavily, I usualy come in around 2nd or 3rd in most deathmatches, and dod:s is still takin a bit to get used to.

Gotta meeting this morning on some website/graphic material, so I gotta scram!

Went to the third largest art fair in the US a few weeks ago, was an intersting time to see the variety of talent here across the nation. I was partciularly impressed with variety, though only a few pencil and digital mediums showcased, Dunno about you guys, but I think of those as art just like anything else. Whats the deal? The majority of the show was dominated by paitning, sculpture, and glass work.

Finishing some joint works with my bud Mike Harrison, and Kevin J. Just been to damn busy to really get anything done on a consistant basis.

And does anyone know that if a 22" wide LCD has a hybrid resolution or not? Just wondering if that would be comaptible with certain apps and games.

Well.. so far so good . The house is working out great and a little to crazy at times. What to expect I guess living right next to a large college. Working in the city as well and also doing some freelance on the side. It's keeping me busy, which is why I have been late in releasing some work. Well I am finally settled in my new location for the most part. We all moved into the house about 3 days ago. I am going to like it up here. Traffic is a pain, but I will get used to it. Now that we have our broadband/cable internet set up, things are going to be a little easier too.

I have a few more projects I am working on, expect those soon as well.

Alright everyone, there has been some new developments. We have finally decided to bring back the group that everyone was once excited about. Oxygenetic will now be releasing an 11th event. The pieces already sumbited are wonderful, I can't wait to see the full release.

After we left, we travled through the town shooting off fireworks from my car. We then dashed through trying to get back on the highway to leave, but the police pulled us over right when we thought we made it. They were pretty cool about it, they thought it was funny, but they gave us just a warning no more fireworks inside city limits! We shot off about 6 of those huge fireworks thta you see at parades and etc, luckly the officers only thought we were shooting off bottle rockets.

Then later on that night we had this big fireworks war. I am starting to think the 4th is probly the 2nd best holiday in my opninion.

Art portfolio is coming sometime um....soon. Its a long process, but it "will" pay off. Right now I am still working on a few of those joint works and comission assignments. Still scouting out for a house too, hopefully that will play out smooth for us four.

I just recently aquired sattelite internet. My area won't get broadband within the next few years, and I was in need of highspeed. Its not that bad, the download speed is about half of what Cable is. Upstream is about the same. The delay and bursting is terrible, so no online gameplay here :/

I've gained admissions to Minneanapolis College of Art and Design spring 07, trying to complete a few website deals , and spitting out tradition and digital art.

^{I attended the FBLA (future business leaders of america) distric competition at MA Collge in Missouri. I initialy joined to compete with a web design, though I was put in Networking Concepts, Technology Concepts, and Network Design, I fregggin took First in Web design and Network Design!, and third in Technology concepts!...what does this mean? I get to go to State Competition, then possibly nationals!}

That and website stuff.......So basicly...this is freakin sweet. Im working with one of the biggest music companies in the midwest, not only that, but the guy is one of the coolest I've met around, he knows his shit inside and out. So it looks like most of my time will be devoted to this job for the time being.

I think my next project may be with a band called nothing still, check them out.

Hello everyone! I am writting this in the middle of the day becuase I forgot to wake up early to go to school. 2-14-05 Interview with artist Jeff Axer
First off, Jeff Axer is one of the most talented artist I have come to know. Has such a brilliant display of work and talent that I have seen. He is also a very interesting person to meet. I had the privelage of interviewing him for the Shadowness Art Community. You will see the interview there shortly. Though I must say, we talked off the record for awhile, and it is really neat to get to know the real guy. He is currently working for some video game companies and other projects. The best part about this is that J.Axer freelances. So there are really no srtrings attatched to him.
