Haha, I know, I know... everyone must be sick of seeing Edward Cullen or some other Twilight fanart.

And so many people hate Twlight, I most likely annoyed half of my watchers by posting this (the other half is probably unaware of the phenomenon that is Twlight, haha)

But still... those books are my guilty pleasure and I love them.
Nevertheless, feel free to bash Stephenie Meyer and her books all you want, I won't be offended (like I said, I consider them guilty pleasures, it's not like I don't know about all the things wrong with Twilight )

So, yeah, here's Edward Cullen for eyerone who, like me, has grown to adore these characters.
(For everyone else, just pretend it's some other dude, hehe)

Sorry, really lazy comic, which came about as I was trying to learn how to draw abs. Yeah, I know, more shirtlessness! But... you can't draw Jake with a shirt on! That goes against canon!
Jacob's design was ripped off the Japanese cover art. And OMFG, Bella looks COMPLETELY like Vanessa from the Little Mermaid! Or at least I think so. I didn't see it until I colored the hair. It annoys me- I like the first design of her I had.

A concept art I did of War, the Apocalyptic Horseperson from Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett's excellent book Good Omens. It's quite a rough sketch but seemed well liked on my artblog so here it is. I took the forest fire metaphor a bit literally... I'd love to draw the rest of the Horsepeople at some point, as well as the other characters, but I'm due for a re-read!

Inspired by the facial features of the beautiful Genevieve Padalecki, who is my dreamcast for this character. I hear there's a miniseries in the (very early) works...!

He wants her to live, more than anything else, so he hates the unborn child, because it is already taking her life away.

Love and hate, birth and death. Edward and Bella leave each other no choice. This is perhaps the only time in Breaking Dawn when they drift very far apart from each other, and love between them seems to die for a short while.

NB: This is an experiment in mixed media, a real first for me : I've used watercolours (+ ink outlines)for Edward and Bella, but the background is done in acrylic paint. I wasn't sure you could mix the two, but apparently you can Size is more or less A3.
