New Flame

I know, i know, phoenixes don't have chicks, they die and are reborn themselves, but I really needed an adult phoenix in the picture too. :-P So in this version the old phoenix feeds its offspring its last energy and heat, and once the small one is strong enough to survive in its own, the old one wanishes in a thwirl of black smoke.

This is basically an acrylics-practice focusing on painting light that I did during the summer.

The Sea Wardens

The Sea Wardens have for eons been assigned to keep an eye on the sea, to make sure no monstrosities make it into the kingdom from the other side of the horizon or the depths of the sea. So far nothing but clouds appeared in sight, but still the Wardens will always be present.

Glurgh, I definitely shouldn't had spent my valuable test-reading time painting this, but a sudden urge to draw some nasty, yellowish fangs eliminated all my concentration. I damn you, Inspiration, you never come when I need you the most, but days like these... *sigh*

I wouldn't be too surprised if I failed the frigging math-test: derivatas and logaritms. My head is still spinning. X_x

I decided to be a nice person for once and create a couple of wallpaper sized versions, since so many were wishing for them.
