This was the first photo I took with my new 70-200mm f/2.8L II. Spectacular lens, really. Incredibly sharp, fantastic bokeh.

Sort of awkward, I know, being in the same folder as the Charger, but they sent me three cars and I'm categorizing them under one car.

So, as some of you know, I've been shooting a lot of the official press release photography for Chrysler since August. I've done six cars for Dodge and RAM so far, with another session scheduled for next month.

Originally I wasn't going to publish my corporate work here, but since I've been shooting almost exclusively for the company for four months, with little time to continue my freelance work with private owners- and since I know some of you are dying to see some new work- I decided to end the wait and instead post some of my favorites from the press kits.

So, that introduction out of the way, here's the next generation Dodge Charger flanked by two 2011 Challengers.

Also, new dimensions for my corporate work, at 950x630.

I took roughly 30 photos of this car in this spot, from a variety of (what I thought were) different angles with different lenses, but when I reviewed them in post, they were all too similar to each other that I could only chose one. And that, my friends, took forever. Two hours. So you better like it...

Here is a completely re-done and revamped version of my original and most popular deviation: ONE PLANET_ [link]
. I did this because the original version was done when I still had my PC and after it crashed I lost the original PSD version. I honestly have more countries in this than ever before and it took much longer to try and fit it all in. I am really sorry if I missed your country; it seems I've made a few human errors. If there are countries not on here, they were not left out purposely; and I am truly really sorry if I offended anyone.

I tried to go along the same color scheme as the original and fixed everything that got criticisms in the past. So now you can enjoy this in all its beauty in high resolution. If you download it, you will get a beautiful 4060x2536 view of it and be able to see every country (even the smallest ones).

Sorry, I have to close downloads - it's a shame it has to come to this but people are stealing it! Thank-you to everyone for the continued support!

Taken at Sintra - Portugal.

I was driving down the hill in these awesome roads.. In the past they used to practice Rally championships on them.
When I go out to shoot, I tend to look at everything that surrounds me and I spoted a great place to shoot this curve. I was carrying my wide lens, and decided to shoot this at 10mm giving this great look.

It was raining a lot, so my girlfriend had to hold the umbrella over our heads while I was shooting this one.

Its a crazy shot of a beautiful place, and every Portuguese deviant surely agrees with me, Sintra is one of the most beautiful places in Portugal.

Post-processing:

PSCS2 levels, desaturate the image, used "replace color" to maintain the red lights of the passing car, burn tool on the 4 corners and unsharpmask at 25%.

Some areas of the road, you can easily see a lost of detail, this is due to water drops on my lens... it was raining and even with the umbrella some drops reached the Uv filter.

Edit 14-02-2008: Wow, I can´t believe I´ve got a DD on this one! I´m so so happy! I have to say thanks to all the people who have passed by my page and left their comment and support. I´m sorry for the poor thank you messages that I sent, but I wanted to say thanks to everyone that commented on this pic, I think they deserve it.

Ok, here is one of the hardest long exposition i did...
located in a church in Ars en Ré, town on the "Ile de Ré" island (see previous shots i submitted)
long exposure 30 seconds, i had to run a lot to avoid getting myself caught in the image.
the lighting was really good inside this church

i hope you like the result, corrected the tone and contrast also...
