Dungeon Magazine issue 210 is out, which features a new version of the Siege at Gardmore Abbey. Like many of my pieces for Dungeons & Dragons this was a tall vertical composition, but this time I got to play around with some fun vignette ideas. Havarr here is the captain of the Knights of Bahamut, hence the dragon theme.

Sketches of Ten, Ten and Rose, Eleven, and Eleven and Rose (I'm in love with the very idea of Eleven and Rose!) The two larger sketches are WIPS for a double-panel pencil/watercolor project I've been meaning to draw for several months now. I have no time to finish it now (bills are due like crazy), though I would dearly love to--someone please commission me to finish these if you like?? ^__^;;

And now...back to working on commissions, and normal things like eating and sleeping and occasionally venturing outside my door again. Maybe.

As promised we have hit 1,500 like on our FB project page and so here is the cover art for issue 2, this is the blank version obviously.

I won't go into too much detail about what it is your seeing as you will have to find out fully in the second issue. Regardless it's pretty self explanatory, a giant mechanical spider of sorts is climbing it's way down a large hole that goes through multiple levels of the giant underground city, burst water pipes create massive waterfalls and our protagonists are attempting an escape via drop ship, not sure getting past that beast will be easy

This is a throwback to one of my original plans for the specialists, Guillotine operators.

Basically I envisioned a task force that is uncontrolled by any ONE government.

They are the judge jury and executioners that monitor global crime syndicates. From corrupt government officials to Warlords if they are sentenced to death by Guillotine forces, they're as good as dead.

A grim and famous guillotine operator directive is that they are required to return either the head or the scalp of their target home, kinda like a trophy(Hence GUILLOTINE_OPERATOR)

I started this November 21, 2006. That's 3 years, 9 months, 1 day or 1,370 days in total. This is also the first new addition to my Angelarium series since I first posted Raziel in May '06.

This is easily the longest it has ever taken me to finish a painting. It went through 11 major iterations to get here and has almost no resemblance to the original WIP. I hope you all enjoy it

This painting is dedicated to my wife, who I promised 4 years ago that I would give her a copy of this once it was finished.
