This is my best project so far for this year, is to replicate and revive an old time classic, all thanks to one of the Equestria Daily's Drawfriend entries.

Originally supposed to be based on the new "It's About Time" episode which there's going to be an apocalypse or some sort of Equestrian War, but apparently not, but since many people made Twilight to be Snake from the Metal Gear Solid series, despite I don't play that series, I decide to go for my old favorite, Command & Conquer, made by the late Westwood Studios. Use your imagination of what Equestria is going to be when this animation goes off.

Take note that it'll load for a very long time due to the several video clips inserted which causes the SWF file to grow in size, approximately around 9MB.

As an additional bonus, you also get to watch or hear these.

And also to those see clearly in details, I also fixed the red dragon clip which at the bottom is partially cut, now it's already patched.

I took version as an example and tweeked it to match the slightly different concept I had.

There you go, a baby Draconeequs for you. I imagined him to be rather proud at that age ,but mostly in need for intended love and care.(this is really the equivalent to one month old Baby cakes). Mischievious and rather inclined to hide his emotions to appear a lot tougher than he is.

3. Twilight reads him a book, and it is BOOORING (taps his tail in annoyance like a cat)
4. Happy lil imp
5. NO, no and no, I won-'t eat pureed alfalfa and that's that.

I also sketched a little story that I shall post later (I do not have scanner) about him playing with the sands of time and accidentally turning out like this, luckily (or not) for him, Fluttershy takes him literally under her wing.

Crossover of Triguns' Vash and MLP:FIMs' Rainbow dash

This is the longest I have ever worked on a single piece of art. Fully done in photoshop I learnt a lot doing this often working back in to painted sections, although I did redo the legging, arms and glasses at various points.

I had some difficulty deciding what to do for the background, tying out several different designs, since dash was practically completed before I turned my attention to it. But I'm Pleased with it, hopefully the clouds look at least somewhat like clouds.

Well you guys are certainly giving me all the very correct and valid reasoning of why Twi should be a Science Vessel or Ghost, I spent quite sometime figuring this one out Before I made her a Ghost that is.

Where is the "Never say Die" phrase in Twilight's Dialogue? Can't find one, that would provide as an excellent wrap up (even though she will be alive all the time anyways )

I've to be honest, never used Ghosts until today... I'm planning to try them though, they might be useful

So here is the one that will wrap up the Mane-6 cast

Animation:

There are 14 active animations if Twilight is clicked. Additionally, Twi has 7 Idle animation divided into 3 idle stances (normal: 3, cloaked: 2, insane: 2).

*rolls eyes* Had real trouble with the "CLOCK IS TICKING!" part... Never before made such faces.

Now as the Mane-6 is wrapped, I can take my rest for the momentarily being. After that, I wish to work on a different project alongside continuing with this portrait thingy, starting with... Big Mac Siege Tank, Spike Marine / Marauder or Luna Dark Templar? I guess I'll leave future choices and combination to you guys

And what about dismounting your Thor to attack outside with some Cupcake Launcher? Bold and random indeed...

They're in my opinion are very compatible with each other, both broke the 4th wall, both raves and parties, both are somehow random, both sneak up on others, and they are a force to be reckoned with if you're not careful!

To be honest, I rarely use Thors in A.I. skirmishes. Usually for anti-air support, which is why I'm a bit anxious knowing that Thors are going to lose their anti-air capability in Heart of the Swarm...

Note: Too bad Pinkie doesn't have any Arnie style of lines. That would be just beyond epic!

And consarn the medivac pilot's armour!!! Quite a pain, doesn't really made her look pony like and more humanoid, and hard to animate... I've tried my best to make her seem to be on her 4 feet though, except it doesn't really work.

Speaking of the medivac, I have to say that the SC II pilot personality is quite the jerk, which made her incompatible with Fluttershy. Don't really think about that, put her up anyway using her going ballistic at one part

No Zergling, Mutalisks, Hydralisks and Marines are harmed in the making of this animation *bricked for telling blatant lies*

There are 12 unique response that Fluttershy will give is she is clicked, ranging from normal "squee", to enraged responses. Left idle, Fluttershy will perform 5 unique idle animation which is different according to her stance. You might notice that after she got angry, her idle animation switches to a threatening posture.

By the way, the unit panel is an added bonus (you'll see as she turns on the healing beam)

Responses are taken directly from MLP Cartoons (at first, i planned to do the voices myself to give the starcraft feel, until I realise that I am a man with a baritone voice Consarn growing up... )

Wow. Okay, so apparently people like this one. I've gone back and made some minor touch ups to it (and yes, I've added hints of the missing Cutie Marks... no wonder the poor CMC's obsess over them, what with the way people react when they're not apparent.) Perhaps doing corrections now is closing the barn door after 27,000 horses have gone through, but what the hell.

I've also changed the download to the full sized work image, which was 2x the resolution of what was available before. I warn you, if you think the artwork looks particularly pretty or meticulously done, prepare to have your illusions shattered by a close look. I have no hesitation to cut and paste and push pixels around like they were fingerpaints... and again, finishing this one was a rush job to get it out the door before the holidays, so there's not much of a final polish on it.

Not that there ever is on my fan stuff... It's all done in good fun. I just feel like I suddenly have some kind of reputation to live up to. The comments and response so far have been wonderful, but what people are really reacting to are the characters themselves, and all credit for them goes to Lauren Faust and Studio B for their work on the show.

I am rubbish at Flash, which I've had to use as a stopgap, so, there are no fancy preloading bars or anything (if it runs like poop on your computer, I'm sorry, I will upload a YouTube mirror in a bit). EDIT: Here we go, YouTube mirror.

It's still a draft, so no sound and quite an 'unfinished' feel (and rubbish compression quality thanks to shoehorning it into a Flash container) but hey, it's been a couple of weeks now and I'm desperate to share something. :3

It's the intro scene of a much larger project which I'm working on. No ETA for that, but I hope it will be awesome... You know, when it's finished. In ten years. Pfft.

I'll be upping more experimental animations from time to time while I figure things out, if people are interested in seeing more snippets and bits and bobs.


*Screensaver is a slightly lower frame rate, higher res, no audio, few mistakes fixed while I was at it. Not amazing quality (free tool used to convert a freshly made SWF) but should look okay on 16:9 monitors and whatnot. Let me know what you think!
