Ganondorf is my all time favorite Villain from Legend of Zelda series!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!^_^ I used CrazyFreak's design of her own version Ganondof for reference, to draw a sexier Ganondorf.^_^ Love her work that's why I used it for reference and I wanted to draw him sexy anyway.
Don't get me wrong, I love Ganondorf's original looks from Ocarina-Twilight Princess games and he's very in there too, it's just I want him to more sexier and I'll might draw him more like that, if I decide it to draw another Ganondorf fanart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!^_^

Cartoon Zelda is BAMF! This is my first Legend of Zelda costume, and I first wore it to the Symphony of the Goddesses concert in NYC. I have yet to get tired of people shouting "WELL EXCUUUUSE ME, PRINCESS!" at me. XD I'm just glad it gets recognized!

Don't know exactly why, but some months ago ,my love for The Legend of Zelda resurged magnificently... and it was just like... one day I woke up and realized that I totally loved the series, pfff.... totally random, no specific reason, no excitement for a new Zelda game or news, I don't know... it just got into me.

So I decided to play the games once again (and some that I never played before). I planned to play them following the "official" chronological order so maybe it could make more sense, but I realized that in the end it really doesn't matter. I still have some troubles with Skyward Sword being the first, but after reading the manga that comes with Hyrule Historia, I liked the story of that game more.

With work (and other things) taking much of my time, I have just beaten 3 games so far in 3 months. SkywardSword, Twilight Princess and Minish Cap. I'm playing Spirits Tracks now , and I'm totally lovin' it (haven't played it before). IMO better than Phantom Hourglass. Will play Ocarina and Majoras afterwards. Also planning to get a WiiU entirely just for WindWaker HD and the next Zelda game. (And Metroid, if any) and then the older ones.

So yeah...

here is a speedpainting I made in my free time, my take on the classic OoT mini boss fight (should've been a boss),I hope to continue with these as a kind of project of mine, so more will come.

Next one will be a Skyward Sword based one.

EDIT: Might redraw some parts of the pic later, I'm seeing some flaws I didn't catch before...

I wanted to render this a bit more, but work is taking all my time- So I decided to post it anyway.

SPOILERS!!11!!?? ( but it's been more than a year since game's release!!)

Don't know what to think of Demise, the lack of backstory and origin other than: I'm a bad guy, deal with it gwahahaha! and his relationship with Ganondorf is what takes me off...

Maybe if they had explained more the conflict between Hylia and him and the previous war in SS, but meh. It kinds of destroy everything they've built up with Ganondorf so far. And that lead to a bigger problem with it, IMO Ocarina of Time should' ve been first in the series, for various reasons (and good ones I think) I should explain later.

I know Mangas are not canon, but the manga that comes with Hyrule Historia should've been included as a cinematic, or flashback or something. It almost makes sense after reading it.

Still, it is pretty badass, cool design, first time I saw him I was like: oh, sh"t! ,so I tried to capture that in this quick painting.
I was going to paint the battle second phase with the lightning and stuff, but I decided I wanted to use warm colors for this one.

Even though it was cold and I didn't get to wear my Harle costume, YoumaCon was still so much fun! I got to cosplay with new friends, take some videos, and do lots of shoots! I feel fortunate that I was able to avoid a lot of trouble the hotel was causing other people. I've heard the convention may move to a new location next year. Makes me curious about where it might end up.

This is Ganon, the transformation of the evil king Ganondorf.
This design doesn't appear in any game, it' my own version of Ganon.

the light guardian for genesis blade.
its scroll reads...

This light remains in balance, equal to all other forces". that means its element, light, is in balance with the other elements and is in no way greater or weaker. if it were to become misused the very element and all the elements will fall off balance. for example, if the light element would become unstable and off balance a blanket of darkness would cover the land. it will also start to corrupt the minds of folk.

This is my entry for the Operation Moonfall art contest to promote The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Not only is that my favourite game in the Zelda series, but it's my favourite game, period. I can think of no better way to express my love for Majora's Mask by painting one of my favourite scenes in the game: protecting Romani Ranch from an alien attack. Saving princesses be damned! Nothing says 'hero' like rescuing cute ranch girls from ghouls and marauders. Having said that, I always found it strange that Romani (NOT Malon!) cowers in the barn after practising all day shooting balloons with her bow. What was the point of that? After reading the spin-off Franco-Belgian comic "Louve", which features a gifted young Viking girl training to be an archer, I think having Romani team-up here would have been more memorable than just letting 'Grasshopper' do all the work. Oh, and notice how Epona is absent. Seriously, does anyone go riding around trying to shoot Them on horseback? I just camp in front of the barn with my trusty Hero's Bow.... until that one bugger sneaks around behind the house and scuppers my whole plan.

I made this sketch and line art in March, now I've finally gotten the time to color it.
It's Zelda, as you might have already guesses ^^ The outfit was for a contest, but I fell in love with the clothing so I just had to draw another picture with Zelda in this outfit.
the lightning in the pic isn't the best... <.<
(and as you know,.. I hate backgrounds.. so the background is ofc looking a bit.. meh )
(and Zelda means Woman warrior, so she should have a more proper outfit for that XD)

Nothing I draw is EVER stolen. Not only is that horrible, but printing/selling pictures directly off the internet is also illegal. I'm not that stupid. I draw everything by hand from scratch and would be more than happy to prove that to anyone. I also sell my blankets and pillowcases ONLY at the few places fanart is allowed. These places do exist and are exempt from normal copyright rules and laws. A lot of my customers know exactly what they want and send me links to pictures(usually from google or tumblr) and ask me if I can use that specific picture for their item. Fortunately, I'm a talented reproduction artist. I explain to them that I will not do that but I'd be happy to draw them my version from scratch. I'd never, ever, print anyone's art and claim it was my own. Using a reference from google or tumblr doesn't make me a thief, it's still fanart. I'm not a complete ass and apologize about the whole "leaving credit" thing. But I have neither the time or patience to investigate the source of each link or e-mail these people send me. They're almost always from google or sites like tumblr and photobucket. These other people "steal" your work and upload it onto their sites and do they leave credit? Lmao, no! Of course not.
Reality is once you've upload something on the internet it's open game to just about anyone. If you don't want people uploading (or in my case drawing) your characters and poses then either watermark them even better, do what I do and keep them off the internet. One last apology (not to you, trolls) to the other artists about the credit thing. I certainly never intended to offend anyone by drawing these fanarts.

The Six Sages - Ocarina of Time Compilation

EDIT 9/30: Okay, people, good Lord. I KNOW that Zelda is a sage. What I meant was the six sages from the temples.

Behold, the biggest mammoth of an illustration I've ever produced.

The original idea for this piece was to have the sages from Ocarina of Time in a mash-up behind Link with the Master Sword drawn with the blue light and all that good stuff. What it ended up being was pretty much all of the major protagonists from the entire game including both sides of Sheik/Zelda and Link as a child, too. It kind of loses a little something being viewed this small because it is intended to be a 13x19 print size, but I'm not a fan of uploading huge versions of artwork to DA because of theft issues and such.

This piece was an absolute MONSTER from start to finish. Words cannot describe how tiring and physically painful it was to make this. Planning it was horrendous. Inking it was horrendous. Coloring it was horrendous. There's easily 200+ hours of work in this piece, making it the most time consuming illustration I've ever done. I've now proven to myself that I can do a piece this large and complex, so I never plan to do anything this huge ever again. Ever. Ever ever.

I'm happy with how it turned out, the shield in particular. It wasn't fun trying to figure out how to draw it at an angle like that and still have it look like the right shape. It's not completely perfect, but I think that's okay. I also put a lot of texture into this piece that isn't really visible at this size, including scratches and scuffs on the shield and antique patina or whatever it is that gold gets on it as it ages. All in all, I'm satisfied.

I wanted this to be finished in time for A-kon, so I was on a crunch for time. Unbelievably (to me at least), I managed to finish this entire thing from tight sketch to finish in roughly three weeks. To my closest estimate, this has over 200 hours of work in it and about 700 layers before each character's coloring was merged for a grand total of 192 MB on my hard drive.

Lordy was I ever happy when it was finally FINISHED.

~crazyfreak and I decided that the second "finished" design of Siryn [link] was a bit too much and should be more like *sylphide2's design [link] and be simpler.

I redesigned her a second time to meet in the middle.
This will most likely be her final design.

I also attached some different color palettes for this new design.
