Me parece que esta ilustración no la habia mostrado aquí. Y como acabo de recibirla luego de haber estado itinerando en la exposición del Catalogo entonces la he recordado y ahora la comparto. Se trata de una ilustración inspirada en la leyenda mexicana de la "mulata de cordoba".

The "final" assignment in this painting class included a "free" assignment for extra credit, so I painted a sweet mermaid with a rainbow of fishy friends!! I based her coloration very loosely on a kind of damselfish; her "hair" is a pile of lacy fish fins; and the bodice she's dressed in is a growth similar to what you'd find on ranchus. Fun fun fun!!

Here's the 2nd part from my Popped Culture sub series, Grand Theft Otto. Pretty much The Simpson's inspired by Heat or 80s-90s crime/dramas. Enjoy!

"Once Otto was hired as the getaway driver, Krusty knew that if this heist was to be pulled off, they would need muscle as well.

Krusty suggested to head of his gang, Homer, that they enlist two of his personal drug runners, Lenny and Carl, otherwise known as Krusty's Kocaine Cowboys. Both hustlers had been distributing Krusty's Koke through the Krusty Burger front for years now, and had help Krusty bring in hundreds of thousands from off shore accounts over the months.

Before they ran Krusty's drug distribution Lenny and Carl had sold and distributed drugs in Russia for years prior. Krusty had been on tour in Europe, and was introduced to both off-stage. He quickly realized their potential and set both of them up in Springfield, both with luxurious homes and rides.

However, not much was known about the two. Rumors of Lenny being in the Russian mafia flew around Springfield once he settled, and his tattoo's didn't help. Carl didn't speak much, but everyone knew that when he did, you had better shut your goddamn mouth and listen.

The two kept a low profile, only making moves when they were required. This is why Krusty hired them. He trusted both, and for a reason, one Homer wouldn't be able to understand.

Because if this heist was to truly be accomplished, it would require Homer's son Bart."

My entry for this weeks Trinquette Challenge, organised by the great Alberto Ruiz.
Missed the deadline, but thought I'd better post it here as a reminder that space can be a lot more dangerous than you realise.
And requires a far less bulky dress code than previously thought.

Pencil sketch, painted in photoshop.
No astronauts were harmed during the making of this picture.

So as part of our fashion hw we have to work on colours, this one is a collage about "chroma" or saturation? haha wanted to make it a little diff to your average collage and went for a collaged artwork instead. circles were cut from mags and den glued, strings were hand stitched for a 3D effect and alien was drawn with lips cut from a magazine to act as a bonnet and a flower photograph for the dress

uploaded on my facebook earlier in not so good quality because the teacher has our works, this one i fixed up on photoshop (colour wise)

This was what i was doing on valentines day, cancelled my date (had it today instead) this can be a pretend valentines pic hahaha

Pocahontas is an environmentalist who cares for all the animals in the shelter near the university with his friend Kenai. Aurora made a keychain with the shape of raccoon tail to hang on her bag ^__^

Aladdin practiced dance with Esmeralda in the college gym. He has been part of a group of breakdancing and loves dance battles.
He also practice parkour and his favorite video game is "The Prince of Persia" (obviously, right? XD)

Cinderella wants to study botany and she joined the gardening club at the university. She's a very good student and always seems to arrive before 12 to her room.

Her stepsisters wanted to go to a public university but Cinderella proved to be much smarter than they thought ... Is it because she have a fairy godmother? ;D

some of you are very much aware that sunstone, my comic and bloodstein, my wife's comic are indeed in the same continuity and connected. most of the inter comic interactions happen thru the mmo game, ally and elly play... and later on... doctor gets dragged in...and then he ruins it XD...buuut anyways....

as you can see elly and ally both wear high level female armors....ah mmos XD

lisa played the game once.....juuuuuuust once.... that was the first and last attempt on ally's side to get her involved....

now for all the new visitors, tho this pic is safe for viewing my gallery is orientated around a nsfw comic which would be best described as an erotic romantic comedy that handles themes of sexuality and how it affects our lives and relationships. just so you know so you dont wander into my sea of monsters unprepaired
