Air Commander Starscream and his wingmates Thundercracker and Skywarp confront an unusual human while on patrol.

Ever since I first saw Iron Man, I couldn't get the idea of a Transformers crossover out of my head. I loved the F-22 chase in the sky.

Man, this was so fun to do.

Ok yet another worn cover. I've been wanting to do a Starman piece for some time now and finally got the chance because of .

Scott did a Golden Age Starman sketch for me and WOW did he do an awesome job on on it! His art fits the vintage designs so perfectly. I hope we can collab again soon!

For this one i re-created the Adventure Comics logo, as well as the other symbols in Illustrator. The rest was done in Photoshop.

The hardest image I've ever done.
The most time consuming (besides The Journey Begins).
The most detailed (I hate robots from this point on).

I don't think I'd be able to paint another autobot or decepticon unless ILM, Michael Bay or friggen Hasbro themselves hired me. *wink*

That said, I'm very happy with how it came out. This will be one of the pieces I'm taking with me to ol' Comic Con. So hopefully you all enjoy it.

there's something i never thought that i'ld ever draw? infact on going into the cinema with Kai i said to her 'well, no chance of me doing fanart for this movie what with the complicated designs and such.'

So's the new Transformer movie is awesome.
Bumblebee is awesome.
This sprite of G1 Bumblebee dancing is awesome.
So I just had to update it for Bumblebee's latest look. 8D

I basically just took the old sprite and pixelled over it. I found it in a sig; I don't know it's origins. : X And of course it was hard to try and fit all the insane detail into this tiny sprite... so it's somewhat simplified. Not to mention that G1 Bee is really boxy and 2007 one is all curvy. @_@

But I love it. <3 Hurr... It's fun to watch it en masse.

EDIT: Hey, Lookit this! I'd-a never thunk that I'd find it on dA. xD I guess credit goes to ~nkelsch for makign the original sprite that this is based on.

Sphodros rufipes, a.k.a. the Red-Legged Purseweb Spider. These things are wicked, dime-sized little fighters! The particular shape of older generation hunting spiders is really fun to draw, so mechanizing the purseweb spider turned over some really pleasing results. It's not everyday I drop a mech off here. Hindsight tells me though that I should have kept more to it's cylinder shape instead of raising the abdomen in the back... hence the "looks like Tachikoma" response...

You'll probably notice these next few posts are crisscrossed with lines from the legal pads I'm using. I don't care what you think; drawing on lined paper is liberating!
