Sakura Demon Warrior

Just a random concept, samurai inspired, mostly vector work on the outfit on top of a base digital sketch : )
Since she's blind, he wears the helm, she was born from the remains of a corpse once concealed under a sakura tree. The lost soul could not rest from the brutal murder and so her hatred for the murderer kept bottling up until she was reborn from the sakura tree...XD. My friend told me of a similar japanese legend and I though it was really cool.

ps. I wasn't trying to be realistic. The character's proportions were stretched and stylized. I find exaggerating realism is fun and makes the image less realistic and more fantasy-ish. which was what I was going for : )

I always viewed Ash as someone a bit insane and a bit too hyper... Like all he ever wanna to be is become a Pokemon Master, he doesnt have any feelings for a females (or male). He keeps freeing his powerful Pokemon and catches new weak ones..

So in this picture i decided give Ash an insanity look, something that I think suits him very well. Mmm I wonder what he is looking at..

Look at the sky. It's not dark and black and without character... the black is, in fact, deep blue. And over there: lighter blue, and blowing through the blues and blackness the winds swirling through the air and then shining, burning, bursting through: the stars! And you see how they roar their light. Everywhere we look, the complex magic of nature blazes before our eyes.

This work is part of my official series of Doctor Who poster-paintings based on the newer seasons. This one is of the Eleventh Doctor as played by Matt Smith. This is what I did for an activity of a Wow forum in China, and the story is about a spirit healer fell in love with a druid who was supposed to be led by her into the world of the dead, and she somehow managed to help the druid survive the crisis. As a result, they can never meet again.

Finally got the time to upload this one! Ah, took me around a month to finish. So I really hope you'll enjoy it!

This piece is dedicated to a very dear friend that I wanted to cheer up by showing him that looks are not the only things that matter and that he is beautiful even if he looks a bit different

Lol, I actually managed to paint sometihng that didn't involve Pokémon, haha I'm so proud.

It's done with watercolours, black and white ink and lots of love, haha The size is A2.

I have to create a creature concept based on 'Lionfish'.

I'm quite satisfied with this piece of artwork too ~ hehe

But I also hope to improve alot more and hope I can paint faster~ cause it took me quite a while :/

Sandara gave me alot of advice and critiques for the painting and concepts ~ if not it wouldn't look so complete. The first version I did was quite raw. But I'm very happy with this piece now. Really thanks alot! ^^~
