Been getting a lot of hair questions, and yes it is all my real hair.

I do all my hair myself from cut to color.

How to get it to the achieved purple:

Short review on how to color properly for those who would like this color ^_^ (I do hair professionally so I will be speaking in Cosmo terms):

Start out with Volume:30 cream to equal parts bleach (lower volume for naturally lighter hair), lighten hair to a level 7-8 (I did a double bleach process) , some hair types may be prone to breakage so for best results use on virgin hair (no color beforehand) Hope that helps! <3

Colors mixed equal parts electric purple/hot pink/ dark purple

I recently shot this with one of my favorite photographers in Jakarta Indonesia. Its not cosplay but Dhika wanted to shoot me in regular stuff too, and I wanted to shoot something before I colored my hair back to black 9 months with purple hair for Psylocke was pretty awesome. This shoot itself took about 15 minutes, and I compiled a few to show. There is no photoshop and lighting was perfect in the studio. Same photographer as my Pepper Potts.

I have always loved the Punisher ever since I first checked out the comics when I was little. I loved Frank Castle's story and how he was a vigilante crime fighter and had this toughness about him, and I am usually drawn to cosplay people that have a twisted background, or fundamentally interesting dent in their past that makes them tick the way they do. (I like the demented in a sense) I also love that the Punisher always had heavy artillery with him, which makes him carry such awesome guns. I tried to get similar looking airsoft guns for this shoot, possibly someday the real thing.

The belt was the hardest part of this cosplay because although it doesnt look like it, the belt is made up of 40+ pieces of extra pieces of marine vinyl that were carefully layed out and cut accordingly, since I wanted to keep it true to comic book form. I was inspired by Kotobukiya's beautiful bishoujo figures that I collect, so I cut my wig in a somewhat sexier cut, and made the boots to have a 70's cut to them. The fabric I chose almost mimics the look of a wetsuit, which is almost like a Gore-tex material, super hard to find but picked up enough to finish this look. I will be posting pictures of how I made the whole outfit soon Makeup and hair styling etc: All my own

Just shot this between shoots with one of my favorite photographers, Ryan Chua of Astonish Magazine. This weekend after finishing three high fashion looks, we decided to do more glamour since I 1. love and read mens magazines and love Victoria Secret ads, although they are glamour, they make women look strong and in control 2. love posing awkwardly 3. love the look of black and white 4. love that he doesnt use photoshop

Update: adjusted the hand slightly, this is got to be my favourite fan art piece that I've done and it also evolved my style, especially the eyes, I'd like to share it with my new watchers ^^. This picture is half digital and traditionnal painting.
For this one I wanted to go back for the kind of technics I used for all my "dark tower" pictures, meaning :mix of traditionnal textures, medias, photos, digital tricks, mix of elements...

What I DID:

1-Basically, I took the original pic, gave it more contrast and erased the background and the face, heels and some other parts.

2-Then I printed it as a greyscaled pic.

3- I did the drawing appart, on a watercolor paper through a lightbox (YES, you can beat me for that if you want)to keep the pose as closer as possible to her original model.
Fixed her face to keep Zatanna looking the way I generally try to portrait her.
Addes the other hand, I wanted the cigar feeling pose, but with the magical stick

4-Once it was done I mostly colored it with watercolors markers and colored pencils.
I textured a bit the background with thick white acylics,

5-When it was Ok I scanned back the greyscaled print and my marker version ; then I mixed both on photoshop to have something very close to what you see actually.
it helps achieving the same textures (see the "chair" for example" and oil feeling) and shads.
Note that I followed the original shads too when I made my version. Otherwise it would have not worked that well.

6- Added the stars on photoshop; what ties her heels to her leg (dunno how you call theses) are actuually an edited photo

7- Fixed all the colors, added some original elements of the original painting to help even more to sounds like the original.

8- Here we are!

Then YES, I DIDN'T Painted the whole thing by my own hands,I also don't really own an original picture...
Then if you tell me "it's an edited copy of a GIL ELVGREN 's painting , I guess it will means you didn't READ this description.
You can see this pic as a photomontage except it's more of a"picture montage" actually.

Don't ask me for print of this pic then.

For people re-linking it on tumblr or whatsoever, give me a favor and don't forget to add GIL ELVGREN to the credits. I can't pretend beeing the owner of the whole pic.

We only had a short period of time to shoot during my last visit to Montreal cuz that every morning we were heading back to Toronto and i managed to squeeeze in a set that day, I really enjoyed working with Melodie. She is probably the most 'smily' model Ive ever met and uber cool in person !!

Aside from the time constraints ; Some of the challenges i faced was the extremely tough lighting conditions outside because of the heavy rain that week but we managed to pull things through. You know me with available light LOL --

This is my first "Real" collaboration with Capcom for the release of Street Fighter III Third Strike Online Edition. It was an exciting project and made me a fanboy all over again. I was tasked to create artworks for all of the characters as well as 2 box art for the game. Here is the first box art piece, hope you like it.
