Bueno, esto es un fanart del comic "Gallows humor".
Es la primera vez que hago un fanart... espero no ofender a nadie ._.

Como se puede ver, es "la catrina", un personaje que para mi, estéticamente es muy interesante (aunque en el cómic no ha salido aun O.o)
El dibujo me ha llevado unas 6 horas ._. ... está hecho con photoshop CS3 y la verdad no me ha salido como me gustaria... y creo que podéis ver que las flores no son lo mio XDD.

How will our scantily clad heroine survive this batty swarm? Apparently with a flyswatter and surf board!

Also drawn during my Ocean City trip. I don't normally post my inks but I'm really pleased with this pic.

Being a beachy summer town, there were alot of surf shops, and me being a fan of Surf music, I had to put something of the sort down on paper. And I like bats.

If anyone wants to have a go at coloring this, be my guest!
Once I have time to color it on my own I'm going to update this image from the uncolored to the colored version.

So here's my tubular 90's tribute piece for the Autumn Society's 90's Show! [link]

I know you guys voted for Aaahh Real Monsters, but I watched Rocko more when I was a kid. I didn't realize how much the stories inspired me, I found old comics I did with my characters basically reenacting a story from Rocko. Yea I know, I was lame, it was the 90's.

I wanted to add the Chameleon Bros, The Fat Hippo Lady, Ralph Bighead, The Slug guy, The Wacky Deli Meats and the Wild Pig but I couldn't fit all of them, and chose only the ones I thought were most important.

But this show is the 90's to me. Bright crazy colors, awesome rockabilly/surf music, innuendos, bathroom humor, crazy stories and weirdly designed characters. And toooons of great one liners that I still recite to this day!

So I hope you like it. May the 90's live on!

I'M FREEEEEEEEEEE BITCHESSS. Dear god. I finally got this finished. I started it in August. I knew it was going to be elaborate but not THIS elaborate. Photoshop was being a dick to me almost the entire time. Needless to say I hate this thing now because it's old. And all the lineart sucks now. I'm not out of my rut yet. Painting skills got a little better. Learned a lot. That's all I'm happy about really.

This is for Hetherev. It is large. Fortunately for you all I was too lazy to do any sort of text. Laugh with me as we can't keep a straight face looking at some of these horrible examples of anatomy. Believe me. I'm laughing HARD. lol.

Hey Guys Here's another reference page from me, This time about gesture drawing !
Before I start explaining I just want to say This reference page and the style behind it is stylized. Gesture drawing comes in many styles and can be about anything, but here's what gesture drawing means to me:

Gesture drawing is really about the form and the curves, the action line of a character. Anatomy is not the priority, but of course the better your knowledge in anatomy is the better proportioned your gesture drawings become. When I start a gesture drawing i try to represent the body by basic shapes such as rectangles, triangles, circles, I try to envision the main curves of the body, how does the back curve look , how does the hips curve etc. I cannot stress enough on the curves.to me it's always more awesome when a drawings has nice curves in them. Also keep in mind that tiny detailed is not the focus of gesture drawing , it's about the body as a whole. as you've noticed I did not draw the hands feet and the face that's because my priority is to defy the form and curves.
When you gesture draw keep your mind free, go with the flow of your pencil tip, curves and form.and enjoy. It should be a relaxing and fun process.

As you can see in my references, some of the anatomy is not very accurate, I wasn't really focusing on anatomy but the form and the curves.

Sites you can use to gesture draw : ( I suggest gesture drawings of 30 seconds, that way you force yourself to not think about anatomy or tiny details and focus more on the form and the curves)

Another thing which I should mention as I got a few "Why Robin Hood? Looks more like Cupido"-comments: I am well aware of that. However, this is just one photo of a series of roughly 30 shots. Some fully clothed and with cape, others as naked as possible to provide anatomy reference and an option for centaurs (which are often depicted as archers, in my experience)

Well, this time we tried to get some real action shots - as in running and jumping (and some falling down, but that won't be published ^^ that's just for my personal amusement) - and we got a few good shots.

Unfortunately I'm not really used to photographing things/people that are moving fast so a few photos are out of focus or a bit blurry (limbs) - I've weeded out lots of pics but decided to keep a few that had good poses despite being blurry.
Before you shout at me I'd like to remind you that medieval-themed stock like this is mostly used for reference and not manipulation, so I know first-hand that a bit of blur is usually NOT an issue for those artists.
I hope to re-shoot jump-shots with Lukas soon, hopefully in better quality and larger resolution. It was a rather spontaneous thing.

I won't pass next to an elf without blinking, so my victim is Eureta. I kinda decided to make a little step on the side with this exchange, but i hope it still qualifies as scary/spooky/cute-spooky. I couldn't think of anything decent for her, and "Caterinas" were currently in my head, so i gave it a shot. I also thought that she might use a company since she was looking so alone on my first sketch, so I added her a collegue - Kellathua. grin I guess that those two aldies might actually like each other considering eureta's bio Besides i had to many ideas for costumes to put it on one model. So i still hope this little crossover is allright.

This is a critter. I make these by hand. They are made out of latex. The fur i got is from the same company who makes the fur that george lucas uses for chewy costumes and other strange furry creatures. Each of the 88-89 teeth are hand sculpted and glued into place. and of course the whole thing is painted by hand by yours truly. It is hollow and flexible so you can use it as a hand puppet and scare the crap out of someone....or just put it on a shelf and stare at it. You can even brush its hair and style it into a faux-hawk or something....If you are interested in buying one just tell me. more sculptures to come!

Here is my first piece contribution to the Rising Sun charity artbook, whose funds were donated to help aid those in Japan.
The theme for this artbook was what we most liked about Japan..
my first piece was actually a reflection on what i most dreamt of doing if I ever got the chance to visit Japan; and of course i really wanted to show my appreciation, not only for thier culture but for the wonderous beauty Japan's landscapes have to offer...mostly showing off how much I love sakura trees

All pieces are crafted from 8oz Hardened Veg Tan Leather and 5oz Oiled Leather.

Each piece can be unattached and swapped out with other armor pieces that I craft by tying them in place. Since each portion is separate and connected with softer leather, this allows for fluid movement and comfort for extended use.

This so far is the upper portion, I do plan to finish the set at a later date, but for now here it is.

I will provide a link to a video once I make one to show how it looks when it's in action.
