Koi Moon dragon

This is an Oriental Moon dragon that I airbrushed like a silver and gold koi. She is chomping on a hematite globe that resembles a black pearl.She has metallic graphite colored glass eyes and gold plated peweter horns, This dragon is about10 inches long.

I really should not have done this; got homework to do! It started out as something I was supposed to finish in an hour, but ended up spending about from 2.5 hours on instead. Would have been longer if I didnt have the fish-dude drawn already

The flying eel came from a game design student who asked me for some concept art ideas earlier on this year; the story is really interesting, about people who live in flying oldish-ships (like Treasure Planet meets Oregon Trail, which I looked at for inspiration today-- TP, I mean) and these travelers would have to find food and places to rest and fight off colossal oceanic creatures that live in the sky. As for the rest of the earth, someone had pissed off some higher being and so everyone lives in floating Noah's Arks now (no, it's not really like that in his story.) I found my eel yesterday again and decided to do something with it today!

Now, time to do my painting homework and sleep even less!

Time for another Hitler+pop culture pun! First drawing while reading The Book Thief by Markus Zusak.

His legs are impossibly long, so hence the drawing of the stairs, because this way he's supposed to stand a bit higher than Liesel, and yeah, it doesn't really do any good, does it. I also suck at drawing anatomically correct kids, something else, I seriously need to work on (yep, the list of everything ever that can be drawn just got longer, I didn't even know that's possible). I kinda like Rudy's smile, though.

hoho, this is the one I made because I started having doubts about the morality of giving away a poster FULL OF BOOBIES

(well, no, considering Niku's birthday card, I guess that's not an issue--it's more giving away a booby poster to a new friend?)

In any case! That's why the two posters are a little similar--I thought I might be replacing #1 with #2, so I went with some of the same ideas. But I ended up drawing them both! hohoho

And thank you so much to for pointing out that I almost didn't draw Koh's third crazy hair!!! ahahah, it would have been so sad if he'd turned out with just two, wouldn't it?

And thank you for keeping me company--we ignored each other in typical artist fashion! <3

Another random gift! This time it's Auzeri, *aacrell96's chara Was supposed to be a chibi-like style like my latest picture of Skippy' char, and Auzeri was supposed to just be sitting there but my hand accidently drew this epic pose. I went all "Me gusta" and kept it.

...I'm glad I did.

During my time in Japan, I really loved just sitting and watching the little kids explore the world around them, as old-fashioned as it sounds. I took this photo after I drew the Laputa Robot on the roof of the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka, Tokyo, in one of the very-few quiet spells.

The Robot is one of the most popular things to visit at the museum and you'd be very lucky to get a photo without some other person posing with him. I'm aware that probably hundreds if not thousands of people before me have posted pictures of this guy, but I believe this moment was quite precious.
