A rare (for me) insect transformation by George Sportelli. (He has his own DArt site here: [link] ) I told George to do a drawing where Gsptlsnz is transforming Supergirl (both their versions from "Superman: The Animated Series") into something. George decided to have Kara Im-Ze turning into a butterfly. I like to think Kara still has her super-powers, so she can't be harmed. I like the expression on the butterfly's face.

I alway thought the original, comic-book version of Gsptlsnz should've gone after Supergirl since Mxyzptlk had a crush on Kara. But it didn't happen.

The faerie is Air, and butterflies surrounding them are her friends. While he is Earth, and flowers around them are inside his Kingdom. I think he's such a fairy blue prince, lol. She likes to go and walk around the garden every afternoon. It was during one of those days when they met. And he wants her to share a sigh with him, so they can be together and create a beautiful story.

The green and blue butterflies that are above them, are their own love representation.

This is my first finished character in Blender. I'm very slowly planning to start my next character. There is still a bit of refining to do with the rig. I started with a female basemesh from Blendswap for the body, and added detail, wings, hair, and created clothing. I also grabbed teeth and eyes from Blendswap, which is awesome. She animates fairly well using a bone system and a few mesh deforms. The bow is also rigged to bend. Once I am finished my other characters, I'd like to post them to Blendswap, if they're up to par.
