"You Will Never Be Weak Again
There was once a boy who had but one innocent wish. He did not wish for riches. He did not wish for toys. He only wished not to be a mangled broken thing. Not a burden for his mother and his father. Not a target for cruel jokes and hushed laughter. Not to live half his life between the ammonia soaked walls of a hospital. All the boy wanted was not to be weak anymore. To run and jump and play like any other boy.
And one day while standing at the great precipice of despair, looking down onto death, he cried and She answered. The Great Hidden Mother heard his lament and wrapped her knowing arms around him and swept him away to another chance at life. But it was not enough. Soon, in this harsh foreign landscape, the boy found himself lonely, afraid and still broken. That is until he came upon a cave. And in that cave lived a strange, haunted creature. Much like the boy had become. This creature told the boy its name was Torment. It told the boy it was his friend, and that the boy would never be weak again."

So basically, IFS and myself had the privilege of being the first creative bunch to help provide a pitch image for Joseph Kosinski's pet project, Oblivion. This first "one sheet pitch" was done in Jan of 2008 by myself.

Trying to depict wookiees climbing and hanging from giant tree branches was really tricky but I think I managed to pull it off. Turned out better than expected.

This is the final showdown scene, found in The Unifying Force, between Jedi Grand Master Skywalker, the Solo twins and the Supreme Overlord of the Yuuzhan Vong, Shimrra along with his retinue of Slayer bodyguards. Skywalker's strike team is part of a larger campaign Galactic Alliance is fighting in an attempt to retake Coruscant and end the Yuuzhan Vong threat once and for all.

I read the excerpt for this scene and it just thrills me to see how powerful and badass Luke is as a Jedi Master. I would absolutely love to see this as a movie but alas I can only dream

Mi tio Arnold odiaba la pintura. No es ningun secreto. Todos en casa reocordamos aquel dia en que llego mojado y borracho sosteniendo en la mano un lienzo de aquella hermosa mujer en la mano mientras cantaba “the sun under the bridge”. Extraña relacion de aquel hombre y aquella mujer, aun recuerdo la dedicatoria:

“Tengo al menos un millar de historias que contarte, y susurrarte en el oído. Quiero maravillarte mientras duermes, cuando tu mirada ya no puede fascinarme y nublarme los sentidos. Te vuelvo a visitar en cada hueva de caviar, que recorre el paladar común que juntos construimos, si alguna vez, fue real lo que vivimos.”

Para mi era la historia entre una mujer llamada Abril y un hombre llamado Mayo. Mi tio era asi, un autista en la autopista sin retorno. El espantapájaros anclado a la última frontera. Que Solo espera, que el fuego de un relámpago le incinere sin que duela.Que el viento sea carroza, que se lleve sus cenizas… y así por fin se mueva.
