Did this for an upcoming "Art Show"-type charity/silent auction event at my law school. The actual piece is kind of a behemoth -- 1.6' x 3'... I'm just hoping the printers I sent it to doesn't mess up the colours. '~'

This is something that I've wanted to draw for a long time but didn't have enough time to do so. I'm horrible with background, so this ended up taking an insanely long time for me to finish.

I don't know how it really feels for a teacher to watch his students graduate, but the mood here was supposed to be uplifting and sad at the same time. I hope I captured that at least a little bit...

The classroom was supposed to look like one that I had when I was in elementary school in China. I didn't know the perspective rules when sketching this, so yeah...please tolerate the mistakes = =". (After reading it up on wikipedia I feel so ashamed. lol...but it was pretty late for me to go back and fix things)

This is a SUPER collaboration between me and the very talented ,it went something like, we both did a few layouts, took turns revising them, she did final pencils, I inked, she colored the backround, I colored the characters, she did final touches and resizing.

We made this in wallpaper size just for you! just download for the full size, I hope all the Harry Potter fans dig this, I had alot of fun! is a total badass! From now on I'm going to try some more illustrative work thanks to her.

The one thought I wanted to bring out for this, is one. The ocean is better BLUE!

Thinking back, those oily ocean, black seashores and dead animals are quite a nasty sight!
This particular picture was a very love-hate one. Love because it has a purpose to say something and so much blue to experiment on. Hate because, its just - so many SO many background to do ;____________; those fishes ...too much in one picture ^~^; I remembered kept asking myself will it ever be finished.
And thankfully, it was done _{looks like they're in aquarium but I was thinking of underwater sight-seeing pod haha}
A work progress step-by-step will be uploaded later (making one not as easy as i thought ^^)

_{Dear dA. I'm not dead...yet. Aside from being busy, I haven't really finished any art since I went on hiatus mode. So for all of my new watchers, thank you and I'm sorry for the lack of update.

I joined Durarara!! fandom just recently and was overly swept by it. APH art is now on hiatus, Vocaloid is minimized but I'll still try, and DGM can go burn in hell. I'm quitting the goddamn fandom.

Also, I was testing my awesomeness (lol) by doing this art on one layer. It's a first, it was damn hard, and wow. I SUCK ahaha *head/desk* This art should serve as my protest for Iza/Gilbert fanarts. Seriously, I don't see how those two will become a pair if not only for smex. Izaya is a genius psychopath while Gilbert is an outright narcissist idiot. Mukuro is more of a BFF material for Izaya.

And then, humanity is finished

But of course, their partners disapprove wicked friendship lol (Shizaya/6918 ftw~)

Hand Tutorial -Tips+Reference-

Notes: I suggest drawing all the hands here (just for practice)....and see if you guys improve or not ;;. I feel like I improved just by compiling all these drawings xD.

Oh, and on another note, never try to hide the hands when drawing a picture. After all, forcing yourself to draw them on a body is the best way to practice ^^.

Finally, never be afraid to use references. Use your own hands if you must (unless your hands are like mine...fat and chubby and generally unappealing), or take a picture of someone's hand. Imagination and memory can only take the technical side of drawing to a certain point until you have drawing enough to master it.

Sorry, it's a bit big. These hands were compiled in a week's time through observing people and drawing hands in life-drawing . The shading's really rough, but hopefully it shows a bit more structure and how to shade the hand

Also, I'm not a professional (yet xD;; ), so there still may be mistakes in my drawing. but I tried my best ^^.

People has been asking me for a tutorial and I've been meaning to do one for...the longest time, ever.
I know there are a lot of hand tutorials out there, but since it's my favourite body part to draw, I though, "why not?". I personally can't get enough of looking at different tutorials on doing stuff, so....yah .

I hope it's helpful even a little. The references at the bottom are for everyone to look at and, well, reference, if need be.

Finished this piece by the VERY end of 2009, according to SF time
I can't remember how long did it take...about 70 hours?
Also did this in Black & White...well maybe it's just because coloring this work will send me to death OTL
Lots of bugs regarding perspective, shading, or whatever OTL but I tried my best to fit everything in _ _

i'm a bit unsatisfied with this...

I actually started this the day before AX (june 30th) and got alot done but couldnt finish it by july 4th, the last day of AX, and was still tired and dead after AX to finish this T_T I still wanted to finish it tho, regardless how late this is.

Tools used: Adobe Photoshop 7.0, mostly Paint Tool SAI, and wacom graphire 3

This is me trying to explore different palettes. I realized I have never used these colours before, especially in combination with one another. To make it flow better, I ended up painting everything on one layer except for the trail of smoke, which I could not bring myself to scribble over Nal's face. *sob* The only sfx I could not part with was texture overlay. Everything else is done by brushes.

In case anyone is curious:
