Hi watchers
I'm back with a "little" break (2 days) in a big project commission. I made the lineart for this pretty wood elf about two months ago ; I asked an artist I admire if he wanted to make this one a collab and work on the color, but he never answered so i decided to give her some colors myself

So here is a clever elf playing chess with the wise old tree. This came directly from the deepest corners of my brain, don't ask me why ^^

Here's a scene from the second chapter written by . Inari was having some horrid artists block, on her day off her friend Ramina wanted to do something to help her get over this. So she invited her to a 'pleasant' outing in the jungle outside of Negav. After some close calls they took shelter in a tree, the next morning Inari noticed a sleeping dryad in the distance among the trees and this was the key! They had no idea that they were about to befriend the dryad named Mami soon afterwards...

Going to try and get into high gear and do two pictures a week. One fo Azurejass, the other for me or commissions. Hopefully this will do the trick and give my motivation a swift kick in the ass.

But anyhoo... Here we have Oralia the bookworm of a dridder after a bit of a mishap with a flimsy bookshelf, getting pinned down by a pile of books and the bookshelf. She's trying in vain to lift herself with her free legs, but finding out it's a tad harder than she hoped. Luckily her older sister Tasha heard the commotion and investigated.

Je voulais donner une ambiance d'été pour me réchauffer en dessinant car j'ai un peu froid depuis que j'ai décidé de me balader torse nu pour apporter du soutien aux militantes des Femens.

C'est fou comme mon corps est influençable au sujet que je dessine, j'ai tendance à peindre des couleurs chaudes pour ne pas avoir trop froid en dessinant car j'ai déjà attrapé un gros rhume en illustrant un igloo alors que c'était la canicule dehors. Ou alors le problème venait de la climatisation que Hikarion avait décidé de réparer lui même, elle s'était mise à projeter des pics de glaces rafraichissants mais douloureux. Je commence à douter des compétence de réparateur d'Hikarion depuis que mon téléphone est devenu un four micro-onde quand il à voulu le bidouiller pour pirater un réseau bancaire. Au moins ça me réchauffe les oreilles même si elles grossissent comme des vuvuzelas.

Vous remarquerez que je crédite désormais mon site sur mes illustrations, car lors d'un brief avec un client, ce dernier m'a montré des images références pour un projet et un de mes dessin en faisait partie... Mon collaborateur avait trouvé l'image sur le site Ffffound, site qui s'était bien abstenu de me créditer comme auteur. J'ai ensuite effectué une recherche sur Google avec certains de mes dessins et j'ai eu la surprise de les retrouver sur de nombreux blogs et agrégateurs d'images qui ne me mentionnait évidement pas comme auteur. Donc ne voyez pas ces mentions au bas des images comme une pub abusive, mais une marque de paternité de mon illustration.

Alrighty finally got around to actually drawing something.

Here we have Narienne's adoptive mist elf sister Aria.

Aria is 108 feet tall, has crimson red eyes, dark purple hair and light violet skin. She has a serpentine tail which occurs every now and then among mist elves and scales go up her back along her spine and speckle her back and sides like freckles.

Aria is the daughter of the mist elf couple Elenian and Girsha. Ever the adventurous one as a child she was extremely curious about almost everything and often got her into trouble. Her parents would often have to come to her rescue while she was up in a tree, or tangled in vines. She learned to hunt at a early age, and was catching human sized prey by age 5, often utilizing her tail to smack and stun them. During one such hunt she found the young naga Celia who looked to be in a delirium, she caught the naga mostly out of curiosity which caused to naga to have a panic attack to the degree where it startled Aria. She then calmed it enough to where she could talk with it, learning that Celia had just lost her parents to Kensha. She thought about if she lost her own parents and starting crying along with the naga as she ran back to her parents. While her parents were sad that the naga lost her family, they were conflicted with what to do with Celia. Aria however was pretty adamant about wanting to be the nagas new family, and eventually they decided to adopt Celia, giving her a elvin name: Narienne.

The two became very close with each other as they grew up, Aria carried Narienne around anywhere she went and provided prey and other foods for her until she was big enough. Though seeing Narienne unhinge her jaws to eat a captive human who was her own size disturbed aria to the point where even to this day when the naga unhinges her jaw it makes the mist elf jump. Aria's attitude is positive most of the time, enjoys jokes and is kind of a natural tease. She joined the Academy of Sentinels when her sister decided she was going to, she hopes to learn magic other than her natural illusionary magic.

Her 'uniform' consists of a red bikini top, and bottom which has long strips of cloth hanging in the front and back, and red bands on her upper arms and ankles.

Also to note... Her tail is a force of destruction when she's excited...

Writing a mini bio while this tired is a pain in the ass so I'll revise it later...

my fb hit 10k likes last month and I asked everyone what they wanted to see in celebration, and a tutorial was one of the popular choices! So I painted this freshly and recorded the entire process. I will organize it once I have the time and make a video/pictorial tutorial out of it! In the meantime pls bathe in sexual tension

The Great Dam

Turner walks along the Great Dam. He remembers seeing it in the distance six days ago. The thing is colossal, holding a massive, raised city above an absurd example of urban and suburban sprawl. He laments spending four days reaching the dam. He laments the two days climbing the seemingly endless distance to the top. The dam is easily one mile in height.

He recalls the exhaustion of the climb with the clarity of his own raw and weary limbs. Turner believes his fatigue to be worth the climb. The horned snake will not follow him to this height, and he expects to find either food or transportation here. Hunting seems plausible, as well. Near-primary birds fly about freely, and there is bound to be plant life somewhere. Water, of course, is plentiful.

The edge of the Great Dam has no safeguards of any kind. As Turner wanders the edge of the reservoir, gazing at the skyscrapers both above and below, the strong winds and thin air remind him of his height.

He hopes he does not fall.

Felaryan Creature: Dragonfly Rider

The Felaryan Set's first, and likely only, "Tiny" creature. Unless there's a Legendary Tiny that somebody would like me to do. I dunno.

Took a page out of "Birds of Paradise" and nerfed it a little by making you have to sacrifice Dragonfly Rider to get the mana you need. Still, it's pretty good ramp for a set full of big creatures. Essentially this creature is only good for two things: Chump Blocking and Mana Pool.

I'll have to go back and look, but I think this the first Green/Blue creature in the set.

Felaryan Enchantment: Meek Moon

What's the best way to counteract the effect of Hunter's Moon? How about a Meek Moon? Vore doesn't work so well when all creatures have the same power.

Notice something different about this particular moon? It's the only art where the moon is not front and center. I did that on purpose, making the moon sort of just peeking meekly out of the corner of the art box like it's shy or something. Get it? It's a "Meek Moon" so it's bashful?

Well, it was funny to me...

A brand new moon, this time for the color blue. And of course a blue moon would be a Blue Moon, right?

Most of you have heard the expression "Once in a blue moon" before. What is a Blue Moon? It's an actual cosmic occurrance that happens pretty rarely. You see, every month there is a Full Moon, as the Moon takes 29 days to cycle through all of its phases. But every three to four years, a strange coincidence causes there to be TWO Full Moons in a single calendar month! The second of these two Full phases is called a Blue Moon. The expression "once in a blue moon" denotes something that happens very, very rarely.

For those of you wondering, the next Blue Moon is scheduled for August 2013.

I spent many hours this afternoon trying to re-create a new and improved Milly-model (it's more difficult than some might imagine getting the colors just right, especially for the new render engine I'm using). I gave her a little more muscle tone than previous versions. I mean, the girl spends most of her days working in a garden or out hunting, along side a protein rich diet; that's gotta keep a girl in good shape, right? I also remember having read a long time ago in one of French_Snack's stories that Milly's clothes were patch works that could almost not be described as clothes. I therefore thought this would be fitting.

Come to think of it, I should whip up something for Karbo's Birthday when the time comes. I guess.... Frenchsnack has honestly just had a bigger impact on me than anyone else in the Felarya community. It was his story, "Lost in Felarya", that inspired me to start my own adventure with "Silver Scales". I always though Felarya was kinda cool, but it was Frenchsnack that showed me what a great fantasy setting it was, that it was MORE than JUST some strange fetish world. And I hate to describe it that way now, but that really is how I saw it for years... and if I hadn't read THAT particular story, I may not have developed as the storyteller I am today. So yeah... I can't thank him enough for that.

Anyway, remember Roshan, the guy shown in last year's present? Well....

(SPOILERS)

So yeah, here's the two being reunited. Jissy just suddenly noticing him and the waterworks are about to start.

This was one of the other ideas I had for the contest, reused as a cell-shading experiment! I'm so happy with how much my speed has increased, little pieces like this only take ~3 days now if I work hard.
One of the succulents(plants) in the foreground is a plectranthus. I got one the other day and it's one of the best things ever, if you rub the petals it smells like lime. It is amazing.

Here you see Elli introducing Sir Charles Starwind to a surprised Milly. Milly's used to friends having "pets" but what surprises her is ofcourse that this little human has robotic arm.

I didn't intend at first to make Milly look as if she's hiding behind Elli. She's much to confident for that sort of behaviour and no little human would intimidate her in that way. The reason for the pose is that I did Elli and Starwind first and then though that I might as well add Milly, looking over Elli's shoulder at her strange little human. Well, heck, this is how it turned out!

After the crash, I had to re-make Milly. I'm not really satisfied so she'll be re-done for future work.

What you see is Crisis surprising some campers at lunch time, one of which is you!

I want to apologize for the low quality of this image (compared to the others I've done recently). I had a soft wear crash and had to re-install everything (been at it for hours and I'm not done re-installing yet). Therefore I couldn't make this image any clearer; ergo the grain and "fuzziness" (you can imagine how it would have looked if I had finnished). I tried to make it look somewhat artistic to compensate.

This was meant to be a "thank you"-image to Karbo for having drawn my OC Elli in his latest "Felarya doodles" ([link]), but I'll make another one once I'm up and running again! Hope you like it anyway.

In the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game, nagas comprise a variety of similar species of intelligent aberrations with widely differing abilities and alignments.

Eh well, since this week is full of craziness, I'm gonna try to pull us out of it just a smidgen the best way I know how.

Felaryan Reprint: Pacifism

For such a creature-heavy set, Pacifism is a basic defense mechanism against the Giants of Felarya.

This is a reprint from multiple past sets. Pacifism originated in "Mirage", with reprints in "Tempest", "7th Edition", "M11", and "M12." It's usually reprinted with the same artwork, but for Felarya, a new image is needed.

Cypress is an oddity of Felarya, in that she is one of the very few individuals who chooses to protect those who would be her prey rather than eat them. As she is the central pillar that sustains the village of humans living in the "Jungle Bowl" area of her world, her duty is to defend those who live under her canopy. Thus, her abilities reflect that. She grants bonuses to Human creatures and others with vastly disadvantageous power and toughness. She also doubles "lifelink" much like "Rhox Faithmender."

Art is "Full Art Promo" style. There was just no way I could fit her into the standard magic card art box and capture her in all of her wooden glory.
