I was looking for a quote for another project and I came upon this Winnie-the-Pooh quote. I loved it so much I wanted to make it into a stamp. This is the version from the Disney animated film--my all-time favorite version of Alice in Wonderland. I love the Unbirthday Song! I am really proud of the scenery and background. I tried to do it close to the film version, but had to take some liberties with it in such a small space. Still, I think it looks good. Oh, and I di want to add more animation but there was so much going on that it really made it look too busy to have the dishes bouncing. So, just stuck with the toast of the cups and the text animation.

LET'S DO A POSITIVE POKEMON STAMP.

If anyone knows me they know I'm they know I'm adamant on showing the positives of every game generation...even if I don't like them. Yes, there's admittedly one that I'm actually not all that fond of, but it will be noted soon. LET'S DO THIS...GAME BY GAME (very long description ahead):

Blue/Red/Yellow: Where everything started. The first games were glitchy as hell and had a shitload of problems but were still a load of fun and managed to make something as simple as collecting and battling amusing and addicting. Proved to be a load of fun games. Yellow vamped it up by the charming addition of having our Pikachu follow us around and even showing how the Pikachu is feeling; I'm impressed how they made it clearly like...well, how like Pikachu was at first in the anime when you first start the game. Not liking you all that much.

Gold/Silver/Crystal: I'll admit this is the generation I like the least and explanations can be saved for later; but it brought so damned much. We got the Daycare center, something that will be a gold mine to hardcore Pokemon gamers and Nuzlocke gamers alike, the ability to breed in said daycare center, the addition of an inner clock, easily noticed night and day, two new elemental types that finally allowed us to beat psychics more easily, an expanded plot, and in Crystal, the ability to choose to be a female trainer.

Sapphire/Emerald/Ruby/FireRed/LeafGreen: Natures, abilities, double battles, contests, and an interesting note that you actually have a damned Father for once! Even more interesting, he's a gym leader. I do wish they could have gone more on that, but eh. You take what you can get. Brought on what would be the first of villains that are much more threatening than 'merely trying to take over the world' by instead wanting to more or less destroy it. The remake of Red and Green had all the same additions, but the bonus of having a reboot of something nostalgic.

Diamond/Pearl/Platinum: DAT POKEGEAR. I can't count the amount of times I spent on it. We also got the features of being able to trade and battle over the internet with people all over the world, which were awesome if you have Wi-Fi. Making poffins...yeah, this might be different for everyone but for me, making poffins was fucking addicting. I just couldn't stop. We also got finally being able to move Pokemon from an old game, and we got perhaps one of the most insane, most dangerous team out there. Platinum boosted it to eleven with adding the distortion world, an unnerving but fun area to navigate while you track down Cyrus.

HeartGold/SoulSilver: Like FireRed and LeafGreen, we start off with just a nice nostalgic sense as we go through a wonderfully revamped version of Jhoto. They also revamped the Pokemon following you part from Yellow by having any Pokemon in the front of your party and be able to see how they're feeling (great when you're in places that they'll be nervous, excited, or have any other obvious emotion around). We got the Pokewalker, a nifty device for catching other Pokemon. If you don't drop it.

...yeah, I dropped it pretty much the same day I got it in Wal-Mart. Immediately died.

Then, though this is just a random item, you got the GB Sounds. This is my favourite item in the game as...well, what nostalgic mind can't resist switching that on and going through amazing graphics while the old school music of Pokemon plays through your DS speakers? Pokethlon was a bunch of fun too; more fun than the contests, to be sure.

Black/White: Even more additions to what we can do with Wi-Fi (I long to go to the DreamWorld!), a seasonal change that gives you some cool stuff every now and then, triple battles and rotation battles (which admittedly are fucking annoying at first), the Battle Subway, and good lord those graphics. Those fucking graphics. When I first crossed the Skyarrow Bridge, this was more or less my reaction:

Team Plasma were not as bad as people made them out to be. Though at the core they were just Team Rocket again their initial front and the fact that their 'leader' was nothing more than a poor guy being manipulated by his supposed Dad made them decent.

Black 2/White 2: Story story story continuity continuity story story story story story continuity. New places, old Pokemon right from the start, Team Plasma being far more threatening than before (going Mr. Freeze on the damned Northern region), the ability to be able to battle old gym leaders and champions - ranging from Brock, Misty, Lance, even fucking Giovanni. To add, all those little tidbits they added were just perfect. They're including things from old games, they're explaining things about your rival and other characters, they acknowledge the old games; most amusing it when you go back to Nuvema Town and a boy says he practically saved Unova because he taught the champion to catch Pokemon, most heartwarming when you enter Black/White's home and their Mother mistakes you for them, asking if you managed to find N yet. Just. Damn, this one exceeded my expectations.

And finally, the not so long awaited X/Y: I'm most likely only going to be able to play this game on an emulator, and of course there is little known about it so far...so the only perks I can say is that the graphics look rather good, and dammit I like that new Eevee evolution and I dearly hope that one person was right when they guessed it might be a flying type.

And long critique of a description is over.

All, in all, one should get my point. I don't know why but when it comes to the Pokemon games, I can't help but look at every positive rather than negative (even with Silver and Gold).

If there is one thing that will always both amuse me and make me head desk, it is the constant complaining and whining from liberals, secularists, liberal “Catholics”, etc, who constantly denounce the Catholic Church's beliefs and doctrines as “old fashioned” or “behind the times”. Apparently, according to the very same people who claim to believe in freedom and human rights, the Church has to “change with the times” in order to “gain new followers.” Not only that, but many are crying for reforms in the Church in order to accept female priests, gay marriage, etc.

Firstly, the entire world has been out for the Church since the days of persecution in pagan Rome. Since then, as the Church grew, so has Her enemies. Oh sure, there have been many bad occurrences associated with the politics of Rome and Vatican City, and the imperfect men and women who are a part of it are not guaranteed to make anything perfect. But in the end, we have stuck to the Truth of Christ and vocally announced it and preached it to the world.

And then the world, since those times up to today, has railed against that Truth. Today we see it in aggressive secularism, New Atheism, New Age, etc. We see it in a modern world where the current trends are seen as good until a more "tolerant" or "open-minded" one comes along. We see it in a world full of murder and hate, full of angry, over-emotional, self-entitled Westerners and in the very homes of people who dare to call themselves "Catholic" when they in fact despise their own doctrine.

In other words, your contempt (or even hate!) for the Church is as old fashioned as the Church herself. Only, there is one difference: The Church is timeless. She never changes because she is the bride of Jesus Christ, the Light and Way and very Truth himself, the Son of God, the part of the transcendent Trinity. God Himself is outside of time, and anything that is from Him will also be the same. Trying to say that the Church is "old-fashioned" at the election of our new, conservative pope, is the same thing as blaring out: "New pope stands with God as he should!"

Well gee, I and many other faithful Catholics hope he does!

"But what if the Church is wrong?!" So you don't like the Church's stance on:

Other related controversial subjects? [link] [link] [link]

That Church has her reasons, you know. It's much more complicated than the "a bunch of old cranky bigots wanting to control everyone's lives" myth you make it out to be.

So... please, have a seat. Have a seat and think about what you're trying to do. You do not make doctrine, nor are you entitled to. You do not create the truth or even own it...nor are you entitled to. You are simply a human being at odds with the Catholic Church and the Truth she defends, and that either means you need to change, find yourself a new religion, or to stick to the non-Catholic one you're apparently happy with. It's like a fundamentalist Protestant trying to change the core beliefs of Hinduism, or a Muslim trying to change the very essence of Wicca. It makes no sense, nor it is those people's business to do such things.

And now to end with a bit of uplifting Gospel from Matthew 16:18-19:

"And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven." (emphasis added)

In other words, specifically Christ's own words, the Church will not fall. The world will scorn and spew hate and other nonsense, and even the very evils of the world will do their best to fight the Church: but the Holy Catholic Church will never fall. What you people are doing is just fulfilling God's Word, and in a way, that's actually comforting.

Peace be with you guys as you go on with your lives. In the meantime, I'll be praying for you all, and for Pope Francis I, who will no doubt be a great leader and defender of the Catholic Church.

I know some of the more liberal Catholics out there might take offense to this (especially those who support gay marriage and the like), so I'm going to say this right now: If what I have said makes you upset, then I did my job. What I just did was open your eyes and point out something that may be wrong. While it is not my intention to offend anyone, it is my job to point out fallacies and unfaithfulness. This stamp does not do it on a personal level, but it does on a community based level. It's sad that so many Catholics out there do not even trust their own Church, yet they try to make it change to their liberal, ungodly beliefs.

Because of that, I'm going to defend the very Church that has shown me the truth, and to show that truth to others while pointing out what they're doing is wrong. I'm not forcing you to change your mind; I'm just pointing out that if you don't like what the Church stands for, you either have to change your beliefs or leave the Church, because it's no fun being a part of a group you can't agree with (and trust me, I've been there).

I hope you all understand.

It's like a fundamentalist Protestant trying to change the core beliefs of Hinduism, or a Muslim trying to change the very essence of Wicca. It makes no sense, nor it is those people's business to do such things.

And now to end with a bit of uplifting Gospel from Matthew 16:18-19:

"And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven." (emphasis added)

In other words, specifically Christ's own words, the Church will not fall. The world will scorn and spew hate and other nonsense, and even the very evils of the world will do their best to fight the Church: but the Holy Catholic Church will never fall. What you people are doing is just fulfilling God's Word, and in a way, that's actually comforting.

Peace be with you guys as you go on with your lives. In the meantime, I'll be praying for you all, and for Pope Francis I, who will no doubt be a great leader and defender of the Catholic Church.

I know some of the more liberal Catholics out there might take offense to this (especially those who support gay marriage and the like), so I'm going to say this right now: If what I have said makes you upset, then I did my job. What I just did was open your eyes and point out something that may be wrong. While it is not my intention to offend anyone, it is my job to point out fallacies and unfaithfulness. This stamp does not do it on a personal level, but it does on a community based level. It's sad that so many Catholics out there do not even trust their own Church, yet they try to make it change to their liberal, ungodly beliefs.

Because of that, I'm going to defend the very Church that has shown me the truth, and to show that truth to others while pointing out what they're doing is wrong. I'm not forcing you to change your mind; I'm just pointing out that if you don't like what the Church stands for, you either have to change your beliefs or leave the Church, because it's no fun being a part of a group you can't agree with (and trust me, I've been there).

I hope you all understand.

If the games died after the first gen (or second gen for some)...then why are they still creating countless amounts of games?

Why are they still gaining in enough popularity and want to make more games?

Why are millions of people continuing to buy them?

Why are half of these people Pokemon fans that were here when the first Red, Blue, and Yellow came out, but are fans who don't care about change and just enjoy playing new games from one of their most favourite franchises?

Why would it still be going if it died?

You know, I'm probably a small minority here but I believe that with each game it just got...better. I got Pokemon White 2 for Christmas but has been too headachy to play much of it...but already I found improvements - or at least one, and that's damned good for me only playing around fifteen minutes of it. Not even done with Bianca teaching me yet.

The Mom in the newest installment of games actually has more backstory to her, similar to that of the Mom from Diamond/Pearl/Platinum has some backstory where she was a coordinator; this Mom though actually had more details, such as she had been a friend of the Professor, and she had been a Receptionist at a Pokemon center - which, holy shit, for once gives a reason to why whenever you go back home your Mom can heal your Pokemon right then and there. Development!

I just cannot see how the franchise had died yet when it's clearly still alive. It's not dead just because you feel like bawing over your childhood and the fact that you hate all of the new designs, even though there was NO generation that didn't have it's shitty, unoriginal designs. Speaking of which, for those complaining that they're getting unoriginal; guys, they've made over 500 Pokes. You try working in with the Pokemon games for over 15 years and still say that you can come up with fresh new designs every time a game comes out. :I

But, yeah. Point made. I believe that this franchise won't even die after they decide to stop making the main games. I can see the fans still keeping it going on for quite a while.

Don't get me wrong; I understand what Peta is trying to do, and I really respect how much they care for animals, I really do. But THIS is taking it a bit too far. I played through part of it. It's horrible and sickening. And it's obvious that they didn't do their research before making this; We all know what happens in the end (I won't spoil it for those who haven't finished playing though), so supporting Team Plasma is just innane. And Pokemon has NEVER been about supporting abuse. In the show, those who abuse their Pokemon lose their Pokemon.

I'm all for supporting different ideas, but when it's clear that you don't know what you're talking about, you should either wait until you can fake it, or shut the hell up.

This is just something I often like to ask people. I'm going to teach you all something: None of these people own the games they are playing. Anyone is entitled to play them and record themselves playing them. There are millions of normal lets plays of particular games but people don't flip their shit at them; why is that?

Oh, and when you say 'I was doing it because some Pewdie fag fans did the same on Nova's comments' or something similar when asked why you left one of these sorts of comments, you are making yourself seem like a much, much bigger jackass than the great majority of these people.

And no, I'm not just over exaggerating when I say people give that excuse. One of the recent comments on one of Pewdie's newest videos had the usual 'OMG YOU COPIED FROM NOVA WITH THE WALKING DEAD AND NOW THIS' and added "Now you're maybe wondering why i'm such an troll, that's cuz this is what almost EVERY little 10-year old pewdiepie fan comments on Nova's awesome vids. STOP THAT SHIT!!!!"

You just actually acknowledged that you were just as mature as a one of the more immature ten-year olds.

But really I do. No, I don't want a gold star or any reward that would come in that sort of manner, but I perhaps would like a cookie. Or like, fifty.

I don't know. I always see the stamps and the people who always say 'POKEMANZ DIED WITH THIS ONE' when really, each and every single game has their merits. With every generation I cannot help but adore how they keep taking the normal style we all know of Pokemon but adding so many elements, like a story other than us wanting to be the master and catching them all.

Because honestly, as much as I love Red, Yellow, and Blue, I would hate to pay 50$ for basically the same damn thing with the exact same storyline added to our beat them all thing...unless it's a remake, but you can only do that so many times.

I know people baaaaaaaaaaw about how they all died but really, critically, nowhere did the Pokemon games ever truly die. They actually started to get a little better, with designs, gameplay, storylines, etc. No guys, just saying how much the designs suck when every single game had crappy designs here and there doesn't mean that the Pokemon franchise has immediately died.

Some people just like one aspect of a particular country, just like one big old thing that came out of it. It's not that big of a deal. That's like saying anyone out in Japan who might like Western comics or cartoons, and that's the only thing they like out of North America, means they are instantly a simmering, festering, pock-marked geek who's too stupid to live.

Out of a lot of countries the only thing I'm truly interested in when it comes to...culture, entertainment, anything, are their fairy tales and horror stories : does that mean I'm a...whatever the fuck you call people who...erm...act weebish...with other countries or whatever?

Guys. Guys. Guys. Seriously already; learn your lingo. Just liking the comics/cartoons doesn't make them a 'KAWAII DESU NEEEEEE LOLO SO KAWAI YAOI' person, and neither does liking everything about the country.

Since when did people get so fucking pissy when it came to people liking cartoons and scrambling other languages anyhow? You act like it's the end of the world if one person says 'kawaii'.

Anyway, we get it. Rabid fans are annoying. But they should not:

-Make you want to quit what you love. You seriously are going to make some tards who can't take opinions pull you of something you like? Tards you'll never actually meet and shouldn't have an impact on you?
-Make you ashamed to like what you like. Look up.
-Bring you to hate the entire show. Just, why? I don't think rabid fans are capable of putting themselves in the show aside from fan inserts. And those frikking characterxreader fanfictions.
-Bring yourself to hate the entire fandom. For this, look at every other stamp I have concerning fandoms.

Generalizing in your neighborhood, in your neighborhood, in your neigh-borhood.~

Every single fandom has rabid fans. Even the really small ones. Like I said before, I'm in the Scrubs fandom, and I swear to God every two people will never stop bitching and moaning about how every still person with a vagina in the show is a washed up, barbie-dolled asshat. Which they sometimes can be, especially in later seasons, but so many people press onto that and don't focus on the good of the show.

Still...every time I saw the million comments on youtube whenever I watch Scrubs I just roll my eyes and scroll back up to the video.

What amuses me is many people who say 'haters are not the end of the world' go batshit insane when it comes to the fans of something they don't like. Hypocrisy, you're doing it right!

Again, they're both on the same level. They both shouldn't effect you this much unless you're a troll, in which case you'd obviously try to retaliate with either actual intelligence or the usual 'U SUXXXXXXX IT ROXXX'. Rabid fans are not that fantastically bad. In fact, they are easy to ignore if you actually try. Which obviously barely any people do, as they only try to ignore like, two, and immediately give up, wailing about how awful they are.

Every fandom has rabid fans. Deal. It's sad you allow just some overly, overly, oooverly-obsessed fans have such a fantastic impact on you.
