This one finished a few days ago. It's another trade with , who wanted the selkie character to give a big hug to Alhanalem.

Of course, he's loving it.

Oh and the blue glow represents the yet invisible pool that's nearby. Maybe?

It's 9.30am, and we were up all night.
(I was drawing, but not this particular picture, this I did when it was already morning)
Working on an art trade picture, and when it was 5am I stopped... but got stuck browsing dA and then few hours later the baby awakes (because someone made a noise ) so no point going to bed when he needs tending.

So, to kill time I decided to doodle [~baldarov was tending him, I had nothing else to do then] this scene from our 2 hour story we came up with a few days ago.

No need to ask what kind of story it was.

And at last, something by me that isn't Batman fan-art. This one's of my favourite character template from Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles. "One-Horn" the Yuke... I'm still not entirely sure what a Yuke is, even after beating the game. But they're neat and Dr. Seussy, so I like them.

Tried "painting" in Photoshop for a change... I don't think I've quite gotten the hang of it. But eh, it's good to try something different now and then.

(Yukes, Final Fantasy, Crystal Chronicles, and Gravity are Property of Square-Enix Inc. Except for that last one[I hope])

Ok, not happy with this one at all... but dammit, its hard to work and crank this puppies out day by day :[
Anyway, wanted to do a little represent of a minor Final Fantasy game for my 30sketch challenge... so, i did Crystal Chronicals. I'm sure no one has played this game, but you don't really need to have played it to be able to laugh at the costume design.

on the left, a male Selkie. On the right, a female Yuke. I love selkies and yukes... not to mention the concept art for this game so.. i'm going to make fun of it. neener neener.

Ok so here is how it goes you kill beast and they turn into items,... quality videogame archeotype.
but for some reason it is funny to kill a skelliton and it turn into a peice of meat or a corn or somthing,.... cracks me up every time,... HA HA HAAAAA, it turned into meat!!!

Meat is the name of the Lilty, and I mean look at him, he is super bad ass. He totally made that skelliton go ker-smashy!!!
Meat is adventuring with his Yuke cousin,.... what ever his name is,... its not importaint, we just call him the umm,.... somthing. And the little moogle is Blank, the moogle Lil'Beast drew to try and keep the yuke and lilty (sLEEPDEP and myself) from killin' each other. [link]

I shouldn't have to tell anyone that, but I was very very lazy with building a good strip. I don't really care, though, I just wanted to make the joke. I probably didn't even get the character designs even close to how they should look. I usually hate for these scribble comics to be so many "panels".

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates for the DS... is kind of a bitch. It's not that it's difficult, but it's full of inconveniences and useless abilities. I'm hardly even into the game yet and I'm already frequently annoyed.

Casting magic requires that you stand still and manually move a targeting reticle over your enemy, leaving yourself completely open for attack.

Party AI is retarded. computer-controlled allies are useless. They hardly attack, and rarely follow you around on a given map unless you summon them by force.

"Tribal abilities" are the abilities that consume your MP-equivalent meter. The ability for the main character requires that you once again stand in one place and tap a number of touchscreen targets that appear on the enemy. You're still totally open to attacks, so even though you can attack in rapid succession, you're still gonna take more damage than you would if you just jumped around and used your normal attack.

(On the off chance that someone who has played the game stumbles upon this strip, don't bother pointing out that it should be 200 SP depleting instead of HP. That's not the joke)
