Even though I never played as male Shepard, I always thought of Tali as a really adorable best friend/little sister for mine. In another universe, after the reapers are gone and they return to Rannoch, she's definitely jumping into her Shepard's arms with their partially completed home in the background.

OK, this is my last entry to XP visual styles. Nothing new, just few bugs fixed, little polishing, and thats that!

I will not make anymore skins, simply, I don't have time on my hands so this is my legacy to XP.

And one little present for you all: you can make this skin even better by modifying or adding something new, just be polite & give proper credit when you publish your version Now I use win7 so i cannot test or make future instances of this style... best wishes to all!

Instructions:

You must have font installed (included in pack)!

To install visual style, copy folder "BGLeopard" to c:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes\
rightclick on desktop, goto tab appereance, find it there and apply it.

Also, you have skins for Dock and Styler, and two wallpapers by mx stell (normal and wide).

So I decided to practice some rigging and animation all of a sudden... It took one day to rig properly enough, one day to animate smooth enough and + 12 hours to render. A true speedrun from my part.

There's quite a few errors in there and it could have used a lot more work but I hope it's good enough. I didn't want to make this such a long project so I decided to stop it short. Surprisingly the tail was the hardest part to animate... And that shows...

Anyway I know it has errors but critique is still much appreciated. (From the rig and animation side that is. For the model, see the original.)

Rig, animation, render in blender 2.5 (animation in render branch. About 1 minute and 30 seconds per frame)

EDIT: Frigging weird ass cappuccino moments ago in a cup I just spilled out to my keyboard and screen says hi at the place where the views usually are... Says exactly 2,500 views... Oh wow...

Thought I'd make some fanart on it This was really enjoyable to do, I had so much motivation on this! Didn't take too long either!

I've kind of went back to my more cartoony style, I was in the mood Usually with a realistic movie like this I'd make it all serious but I needed to add something more!

I loved making this one! I've never really created 'dust' in any of my pics so it was pretty interesting to give it a crack!

This is for the upcoming PS3 game Red Dead Redemption by Rockstar Games.. DAMN I CAN'T WAIT It's going to have all the same physics that GTA IV used and I think it'll be awesome having the big ol' Western landscape to roam around in!

This pic was mainly just to get me hyped for the game! It took me a little longer than my usual pics, about 16 hours I think.. All done in Photoshop CS3 apart from the sketch..

It's got me going back to the concept of "Cyber Princess" where Mary Ann takes a stab at acting (for a video game... well.. it would be a video game anyway) I also haven't drawn her in awhile, she needed some attention.

This is the Heimdall armor suit. Its the third piece of the Aesir armor lineup along with the Fenris [link] and the Tyr [link]
it fulfills the role of scout/sniper with emphasis on stealth and concealment.

This is accomplished in many different ways. The suit is made of a light, durable, polymer type of armor which allows for ease of movement and greater agility. The material can also receive data about the surrounding environment to alter its appearance creating an effective camouflage system. Other features include sound dampening, vision augmentation, and variable sound amplification receptors.

The Vanir M408 is the standard issue sniper rifle for Aesir snipers. Its a relatively simple magazine fed .408 caliber rifle. Other weapons can include Gungnir class heavy ordinance. Weapons under this class can fire rounds ranging from 50 caliber to 25mm. These are usually reserved for heavily armored opposition or removing high profile targets from great distances.

Yay! She's finished! I changed her eyes and made her ovally head larger, because I thought the original lineart looked weird.. If you don't know what that is under her paw, it's a rat.

Tools: Macromedia Flash 8 for inking, Photoshop 7.0 for coloring and secondary inking.

I can't sleep. Going back to college with only a few days to get a ton of stuff done. So I'm a little wired.

In celebration of [link] I decided to make another fan art.

There's something about Tali's New outfit that I like, though I can't quite put my finger on it.

Thank you Bioware. I also love that I was right that a. you'd meet her on the flotilla and that b. there would be bonding. (At least that's what the trailer implies.)

Bioware, why did you waste your time with that awful Dragon Age? It was so bad... so... so bad. (just my opinion folks, don't flame me)

Edit: I redid the head a bit. It's probably still inaccurate, but I like it more. Seems more... tali-ish now.

When the llama badges were released i thoroughly enjoyed them and ran around like many others donating a few hundred to celebrate April Fools Day. However the reason i like them was because i thought they were a one off thing. The fact they are here 6 weeks later rather annoys me, especially since dA has made a 'fun' April Fools day game into a money making scheme by offering things like sunglasses for $1.

I no longer like receiving llamas. I no longer like giving llamas and if it was down to me, the llama system would be disabled, frozen in time and simply added as a fun piece of dA's history.

So a felt like making a stamp. Please don't bother donating me llamas (though this will probably result in me getting a few) as i really don't care for them and its a total waste of time.

Apple vs. Nintendo

For one of our recent Uni projects, we were given a list of periodicals, and had to choose a story from one of them to illustrate.
I chose the Financial Times, and found an interesting article — the title of which being: "Apple emerges as Nintendo's game rival", and thus decided to depict something for it.

If you can't tell, it's a Pikachu putting up a fierce battle against an iMac The lightning effects aren't particularly good, but the time frame I set myself to complete this was short, so I'm forgiving myself for that.

Yet another Uni project, this time involving the development and evolution of film concepts!
After choosing a film, we took a brief synopsis, and completely altered the key parts, to turn it into something new.

"In the chocolate-coated future, a Pac-Man rodeo becomes the central figure in the search for a legendary cosmic spatula to keep diseased flies and over sized pancake beasts at bay."

I wanted to retain some of the imagery from the original film though, as seen in Korben Dallas' clothing, the colours of the "Pac-taxi", the faces of the pancake beasts (like those of the Mangalores), and the hectic futuristic cityscape.

This originally started off as a different emote cycling through the seasons but as that idea didn't work out i used the background on this to simply walk through the seasons in a loop

I kinda like how the winter is far longer in this as it represents the past year. The winter seems to have dragged on far longer and its only in the past week as the days have suddenly got longer and longer i realise we are truely in spring.
