Another Facial structure reference for you guys to use as a resource in your own work. This is something I've seen to help me draw ears and I hope it helps you as well. Ears can be tricky but if you think of them as a hook, y, and bump, it made drawings ears much easier for me.

When I was young, I have very cool t-shirt, where was illustration of Bugs Bunny on motobike, and I really loved it, but the time is past and now the t-shirt is rag. In the past I tried to find it, but there no this picture, beside the bad quality photoes of this t-shirt. Now I'm good artist (if U don't mind I call me so here) and I decide to draw it, and I've done it in more brutal style. U can see result here (:
The model of motobike I use is Sunbeam S7 designed by Erling Poppe based on BMW R75 of the late 40s, but modified by me.

That was why I love to use ink to paint my drawing, because it is not all draw by me, it just like..

Well goddamn.

I don't think I have EVER spent so long on 1 picture, it's almost like I've grown attached to it. I don't think I'll ever be happy with how it looks, but I've reached the point now where I'm just like.. FUCKITALL.

This wasn't intentionally done for halloween, but I guess I timed it pretty well. Threw in a couple pumpkins and VOILA. You got yourselves a festive piece! It started off with me just wanting to paint a picture that included my favourite flowers of all time (Wisteria), and it just evolved from that.

The one pretty whopping mistake I made and I've now noticed is his cigarette isn't smoking. I might change that in the future, but for now, lets all just assume he's hipster and smoking a LIT cigarette is soo mainstream..

Wedding Dance on the Beach

Yeah at last a new piece by me !
I'm so thrilled to submit it, it has been a long time since I posted something here

Done this for my cousin wedding as participation for the menu of their bluray wedding movie, a special gift from my brother ~ZonWernor. (He did the shooting, direction, post-production of their wedding movie, and I did this illustration for both the cover and menu of the blu-ray). Yep we're a regular family lol

So let's talk about this piece, the original painting was done by Jack Vettriano and it's called The Singing Butler. (you can google it).
My cousin got a reproduction at their wedding as a gift, they're good dancers and her wife is an art teacher !

So I had not idea what to do for the cover and the menu, then got the idea to replace the couple in the picture with my cousins dancing at their wedding, and replace the two people with two Bretons in their dancing costumes (we're all bretons.)
Oh and if you compare the two pieces, you'll see I extended the right size, that was intended for the Blu-ray menu.

About technic part :
It's a 100% vector piece done in Illustrator CS5, I used my beloved pen tool on people, gradients, then for the sand, sky I used the art brushes with an opacity from 80% to 30%.

I made this photograph from the top of Mount Iron.

I remember it took a while to make my way up there in the dark. It was also bitterly cold. Once I reached the summit, I was a little disappointed, but, made do with what I had.
