One of my holiday traditions is to watch a lot of old horror movies, even if I've seen them a million times. This year I watched a lot of the old "Frankenstein" movies, and by the end of "Bride of Frankenstein" I was feeling really bad for the monster, because, well, I don't see why monsters can't ever get the girl. All the ladies in those movies ever do is run around screaming and fainting all over the place. So lame. I would kill to hang out with Frank Jr.!

So here I have elaborated on his bride a little more... but is she helping out her lover, or perhaps creating little monsters? I'll leave it up to you.

"The Day Care" depicts a gentle wolf taking care of some little sheep. He disguises himself in a sheep costume or hood so that he won't scare away the little ones. (Although I think the little sheep already saw through his disguise). It's a good lesson about not judging somebody based on appearances.

I've had an idea for something along these lines for a while, inspired a bit (incongruously maybe) from a Joanna Newsom lyric, but this isn't quite it so there might be more hooded figures with gulls in the future.

Just a quick sketch from the other night, anyway, after a couple of beers.

This was all done on photoshop, the bird to a while to do, as I put a lot of detail into it, so im quite proud. I used a really cool bit of vintage paper for the background.
