003: Sakura the Cleric

Third of the series, Sakura the cleric. Possibly one of my favourite outfits out of the lot. For all those who ask, the pictures will be compiled soon, possibily into a wallpaper.
Also the chara support lsit at the bottom will only make sense to the people who play the game 'Fire Emblem', it is NOT a full list of characters to be drawn.

Background was taken + edited off from the original artworks.

Character Description:
Sakura the Cleric, was brought into the Uchiha household at the age of 10 as a playmate to the orphan Naruto and the prince Sasuke. As a disciple of the high Elemine priestess Tsunade, Sakura is highly religious, but has a monsterous temper, and a rather brutish punch that is hidden behind her deceptively dignified behaviour. She has a very apparent obsession for her childhood prince, and a very apparent dislike for his close friend, the Konoha spy whom she viewed upon as a vile creature (being a thief, spy, and a possible obstacle into her prince's heart).

There is a constant rivalry between her and Ino, a student of the dark arts.

Sakura uses staves to heal her companion units.

I watched a pile of Invader Zim this evening. I'd forgotten how great that show was. I remember first seeing the episodes while I was working at an animation studio in Halifax and being blown away by how crazy and amusing it was. Fantastically funny stuff. If you haven't seen the show, check it out on DVD.

Anyways, feeling inspired by the Zim-age, I thought I'd do up some fan art for Zim as my digital piece for today. I'm really happy with how it turned out.

I decided to go for something more painterly than the standard Zim show look.

You know...this kind of scenario will most likely happen sometime next year, when the next Smash Brothers is out. :]

If you didn't know, Snake from the MGS series is hopping on the Smash Bros. bandwagon. Apparently Kojima(MGS creator) wants him to be in the game for some reason (guilty pleasure, perhaps?). Fortunately for him, he's friends with Sakurai(SSB creator) and Nintendo doesn't mind about Snake being in it. It's kinda funny for a character from a game that's exclusive for a competitor's system jump into a Nintendo game just like that, don't you think?

Anyway, I still find it unbelievable that this dude made it into this game up to this day. I was very excited about Wario's appearance in the trailer (I'm a huge Warioware fan), but Snake's appearance caught me--and I'm pretty sure you guys too--off guard. I mean, he's like the last person in the videogame world to join Smash Brothers!

Soooo...I drew this using a drawing tablet and Photoshop. Used a reference for colours and some minor details. It took me 234235783 hours to do this...Nah, just kidding. I spent about 5 hours colouring this. Characters used in this fanart belongs to their respectful owners.

Man, I'm very excited for this game. Can't wait to play it!

After working on this.. what ever it is... with ~~!stevehedgehog~~*Tirann0 for three days straight, I am EXHAUSTED. And I STILL have that head cold.

I really dunno where this came from. On Sunday, I randomly went, "I wanna make a flash that makes fun of bad fanfics". Then I opened notepad and me and Steve threw ideas in and we did voices and then it got drawn.

Steve's voice talent is remarkable. It's how I initially fell in love with him in the first place. XD He's so nutty. But then again, I am, too. o-o But Steve does a flawless Sonic... the best Sonic I have ever heard from a fan. These are just...a set of chibis I'm going to be doing based on a picture I drew about a year or two ago of Naruto characters as Fire Emblem classes XD

I figured I've been doing a ton of commission drawings lately that maybe I should draw something for myself for a change XD SO yea...none of this is serious 8DDDDD;;;

Character Description:
Naruto is a Konoha spy, adept at picking locks and stealing things from enemy units whilst gathering information by sneaking into enemy territory. Swift and very, very skilled, his only downfall is his incredibly rash behaviour and loud mouth, something that's...problematic as a spy XD

Sonic, a character of a game of Sega. I like that game and characters of this, because this I drown it. Painted in Photoshop 7.

EDIT: OMG, my english here suck too much more than today, ehaheaheha. Ok, let's write it again, five year after.
