I don't say this was easy to make as I needed to make some changes in main design. Oh and It was surprisingly challenging to draw front image of fierce dragon trapped in chains but in the end I learned new things while making it so every sweaty drop spilled was worth it. I hope you can agree with me.

some of you requested a photo of me and my new tattoo, so here it is
Also, I know earlier, some of you were curious about my eye color, because I've previously drawn me with blue irises that have a yellow ring around the pupil. Someone asked me if I really had that yellow ring around my pupils, and here's evidence that I do You'll see it if you zoom in a bit
And as you can see, I don't have blue hair anymore. All the bleaching almost destroyed my hair, so I dyed it back to my natural hair color (just a tiny bit darker ).

something I've been working on this evening. Spent a good few hours on this But I kinda like how it came out

This drawing is showing some of Spike's fears. That skull-thingy at the top there symbolizes death, and then there's his abusive uncle whom I suppose most of you will recognize by now, and at the bottom there's Spike and some hands grabbing him which is supposed to symbolize his fear of being touched. I wanted to add more things, but I just couldn't decide, plus there really wasn't much room left XD

This is a giftie picture, of her character Aemelis playing with a little goldcrest bird (that's meant to be a bit smaller I know, but didn't want to make it too small XD)

When I started working on this it was going to be a 'normal' cell shaded picture but then I really wanted to try making it more painterly in a style that I really like but don't normally use myself. Definitely enjoyed it too! Going to use it again in the future also tried to make the colours pop out a bit more in this

This is a bit different from the earlier black dust commissions, the atmosphere in this is in every way much lighter than in the others and the poses aren't so simple. I wish it doesn't make this less cooler though xD

Let me explain what I had in mind when I drew this. Let's start with Mamoru (the one with antlers), he's the first character to question the black dust floating around. In my previous pics the characters are totally ok with the dust, as if they don't mind it at all so it was about the time someone reacts to it XD
Mamoru was yawning when the dust reached them and it surprised him. He stopped yawning but got his tongue still sticking out from his mouth. The idea for this came to me when I was playing with ~Silkuchu's few months old kleinspitz and she ~~yawned~~ derped like this >'D She yawns and closes her mouth without pulling her tongue back in and then she stays like that for awhile and opens her mouth again to get the tongue back into her mouth XD So yeah, the same thing happened to Mamoru here. Mahlyenki Dyavol on the other hand is too busy being overly amuzed by Mamoru's derp-yawn that all his attention is in Mamoru and not in the dust XD

You might wonder why I didn't upload these seperately like I've done before. Well, I wanted to show you how these two pics connect. Little piece of Mamoru's antler goes to Dayvol's side, but I left it out from the small pics, because it looked odd there when the pics are not together.

Went for a long forest walk with my sister and her boyfriend yesterday in the evening. It was really nice and sunny, there is this place where you can grill located right next to a lake. I took Toshi with me of course, he seemed to really enjoy himself once we got there. I never knew he liked sticks so much, he spent so much time chewing on them. His fur looks a little funny in this photo because the wind was blowing when I took it

Angel's condition is usually what one uses for murderers, but psychopaths will often kill, because they lack emotion, sense of empathy and remorse. And they will find a huge thrill in killing people. But most of them don't. (but Angel is not in that category...)
Andreas is a schizophrenic who suffers from hallucinations, and here, Angel has triggered those hallucinations. Andreas suffers through horrifying mental experiences that only serve as an entertainment to Angel. In fact, so much that he has a maniac's laughing fit, that including a rather... horrifying expression.

Piece of advice, people. Don't put a psychopath and a schizophrenic alone in the same room...

Hedy - what keeps me going

Hedy is a girl who've been bullied for a long time, but she stays strong because of something Spike told her.
On Hedy's first day of school she was both excited and nervous. She had just moved to the town, and was going to start in fourth grade. Her mother had fixed her hair and given her new clothes to give her that little extra confidence her beloved daughter needed that day. Hedy felt very pretty that day, but the other girls in her class didn't seem to think so. During recess, out in the school yard, they gathered around her, mocking her, calling her fat, calling her ugly. It broke little Hedy's heart. They pulled her hair, threw dirt at her clothes, and were being awful to her.
Sam and Spike noticed this on a distance. Sam wanted to do something about it, and suggested getting the teachers to help them. Spike just snorted, saying that the teachers wouldn't give a rat's ass about bullying. They never did, he said. So Spike took the matter in his own hands. He chased the bullying girls off, telling them to leave Hedy alone. Hedy was in tears, trying to utter a grateful 'thanks' but didn't get the chance to do so before Spike asked her; "Why did you let them bully you like that?"
Hedy wiped away her tears, "I don't know," she said. "I probably had it coming."
"Why?"
"I'm ugly. I'm not thin like they are."
Spike snorted again, saying "you don't have to be thin to be beautiful."
It was something Spike said in an honest way, although rather casually too. He never realized how much that one sentence would mean to Hedy. How much his words meant to her and kept her strong throughout her life. Spike, her new hero whom she looked up to and admired, was what kept her going. The bullying went on from that day on, it never really stopped, and there were days when Hedy wanted to give up. Still, seeing how Spike was being bullied too but never gave in, how he would always put up a fight and never let the bullies win, it gave Hedy strength. Mental strength. She kept wearing nice clothes, kept fixing her hair, kept trying to look her best. She never gave in to the bullying, and eventually, the other girls stopped trying to get her down. They stopped pushing her and being physical towards her, and instead gave her mean looks and words. Laughed at her when she did clumsy things. Hedy didn't like it when they mocked her, however she would just put on a smile and carry on. Letting Spike's words echo in her head; "You don't have to be thin to be beautiful."
To Hedy, those words meant the world. To her it meant litterally that; she didn't have to look like the other, thinner girls to feel pretty. Because once, there had been this boy who called her beautiful. That alone was enough to give her strength. That, and seeing that the boy she admired never gave up either.

Hedy was created by ~JuliePig . I've been given permission to use her in my Spike story. I based her off Julie's main idea of Hedy being a clumsy girl who has a crush on Spike, and then I've just trying to bring her more to life as a character She's not a major character, and doesn't appear a lot in the story. She's a friend of Sam's, and Spike runs into her now and then, often literally due to Hedy's clumsiness. He doesn't care too much when she accidentally makes a fool of them both, because he knows she has her struggles too. Plus, she's the only girl at school, and the only person besides Sam, who's being nice to him.

so, well, what I was going to say was that Hedy is (C) and myself.

...But you still can't see his muzzle properly.

I decided to give my anthros more animal-like hands. The interesting fact is that they are the most similar to squirrel paws - the pawpad covering the whole palm and up to the fingertips - Also, they aren't rough like canine's paw pads, but pretty much skin, like ours. (in order for grabbing and holding certain things better.)

So yeah - here's Simon... in some sort of situation where someone hit him and he doesn't care, apparently. :v

Also, since I changed Simon to have both parents Russian, his surname is changed from 'White' to 'Rezanov' - which has been his father's surname for looong.

I've never come across this technique before, really. But I'm most likely not the first one to think of it. I find it useful though, as it helps me with the poses.

I don't think I'd suggest this for traditional art. :y And it shouldn't be very necessary with headshots or chest-up drawings. It's for full body(-ish) drawings.
