Some replacement icons I created. Click the download link for the .zip file.

The Mail and Cydia icons are configurable--you can personalize the address (if you can open .psd files)--edit the 'configure me' folder in the .psd. You will need to resize the files after configuring them as they are 512x512. I would recommend opening the original icon in photoshop and dragging your edited icon layer onto the original icon, then resize.

The Phone and Bible icons have alternate versions.

They are not in Winterboard theme format, so you would need to rename (some) and SSH accordingly.

I like making icons, so if there is an icon concept you are having trouble realizing, I'd be glad to help. Also, if you want any of these icons in a different color, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Brahma-God of Creation

Brahma the divine procreator and the one who was born out of the golden egg known as Hiranyagarbha.
this is same as the big bang theory where the entire universe has come from one dense singular mass.
the expansion(or bang) of the universe is known as one day of Brahma and the collapse of the universe is known as one night of Brahma.in Vedas the entire universe collapses in the distant future and is again created through the big bang and this process happens for about 100 Brahma years after which Brahma dies.
and after another 100 years of Brahma's death he is again reborn and the process continues.
the best thing is that in hinduism the universe is eternal in reality, and it agrees with the concept of parallel universes as it is said that every single universe has a Brahma.

The Symbols:

The Four Hands – Brahmā's four arms represent the four cardinal directions: east, south, west, and north. The back right hand represents mind, the back left hand represents intellect, the front right hand is ego, and the front left hand is self-confidence.

The Prayer beads – Symbolize the substances used in the process of creation.

The Book – The book symbolizes knowledge.

The Gold – Gold symbolizes activity; the golden face of Brahmā indicates that He is actively involved in the process of creating the Universe.

The Crown – Lord Brahmā's crown indicates His supreme authority.

The Lotus – The lotus symbolizes nature and the living essence of all things and beings in the Universe.

The Beard – Brahmā's black or white beard denotes wisdom and the eternal process of creation.

The Four Faces – The four Vedas (Ŗk, Sāma, Yajuh and Atharva). The Vedas Symbolises his four faces, heads and arms

God in the Vedas is a completely different concept.in the Vedas god is a not a separate entity somewhere in heaven but is the all encompassing reality or infinity and is called Brahman(not to be confused with Brahma and brahmin).
Brahman has no form,no gender,is omnipresent and is not a separate being,it has no beginning and no end,is neither bad nor good,is both existent and non-existent,as infinity is not existent(if it exists then it is not infinity) but is very much existent(as infinity obviously exists at the same time).
in advaita philosophy,everything is god and that includes you and me.the difference between us and a person like krishna,jesus,rama or muhammad is that they have realized this truth but we haven't.

after reading about Brahma from a number of scriptures i wonder if Brahma is an alien who was the cause of populating this planet with humans as it is mentioned that he's from another planet.
as Brahma is mostly described as the first Prajapati or procreator who populated various different planets.

It is mentioned that princess Revathi(wife of Balarama) visited Lord Brahma via a Vimana(sanskrit for spaceship) at a very high speed and after her visit to Brahma,she sees that many tens of thousands of years have passed and her entire kingdom has gone and the world looks completely different and yet she didn't age throughout the trip... this story clearly is in terms with the theory of relativity.
so its a definite possibility that ancient Indians already knew about theory of relativity much before Albert Einstein... interesting isn't it?

but i have to agree sometimes it maybe a bit confusing.

Minuet 2.0 [updated]

Minuet 2.0 is a mod of the awesome minimalist Minuet lockscreen. Beside featuring the (slightly altered) Minuet lockscreen, it also features a themed passcode and call interface.

The default version of Minuet has a semi-translucent status bar. If you want the status bar to blend in, download this add-on and place it above Minuet in Winterboard. You will also need to download BlackOut from Cydia to fix the status bar in Photos app.

I tested it on my iPhone 5 running 6.1. Should you come across any problems, please download the most up-to-date version of Minuet 2.0 here to see if it fixes your problem. If not, please make a screenshot and post it in this thread

The status bar dots are by ~bblake and can be found here.

Other tweaks used are Springtomize 2 to hide the carrier logo, OpenNotifier for status bar notifications, Bolt to hide the battery icon and Bytafont to change the font (font used is Klill), all of which can be found on Cydia.

This is a remastered screenshot from the video game Doom. The original size was 320x240 and the final product is 9600x7211. This is the highest resolution Photoshop image I've done to date (although I've done higher 3d rendering).

It is commonly agreed upon by all of humanity that Doom was the greatest game ever made. Okay, maybe not everyone. Doom was a PC game made in 1993 by id software. It was created by John Carmack, John Romero, Adrian Carmack and Tom Hall as well as many others. This is actually not a direct scene from the game but a composite. The Doom guy has only 1 rocket left and a pinky demon stands between him and freedom. If he shoots he's dead. These were some of the best moments in the game.

As you can tell the style matches closely to the original game, but with a slightly different perspective. I used a 3D rendering program to outline how things would appear in the scene to assure the perspective remained correct throughout the creation process.

The original image is 9600x7211 pixels and stored in 7 PSD files.

A traditional 2D matte painting made from three different plates shot by my father above the Alps. No spaceships this time but sorts of insects flying around with a dramatic stormy weather coming around.
Original plates are mine, clouds are stocks and painting. Buildings are completely painted, no texture at all. No 3D elements as well.

Description: I'm very excited about this project as I'm really happy about the end result. As most of you can certainly understand by looking at the full size previews, this is an Email App with a huge focus on usability while keeping minimalistic aesthetics. This should reduce users learning curve, and at the same time provide a lightweight environment (bandwidth).

The App should be very adaptive to screen resolutions as the 4 main columns (Sidebar, Inbox, Email View (only appears when an email is selected) and Chat are all horizontally and vertically flexible. So it could easily be seen on smaller resolutions.

For best results while viewing the preview, open it on a 1080p monitor or TV, in Full View mode. Also, make sure to check out on Dribbble.

I had as main inspiration sources Gmail, Outlook and Facebook, UI.

Im nobody in the photography world but I do try my best to get better with every shoot I do.

This simple image isnt so simple when you look at the nitty gritty. From planning of the composition to actually envisioning the end product. My style is not highly illustrative or perhaps I should say my style has gone pass the highly illustrative days. I'd prefer hyper realistic visions where time and space meet in a unision and thus what you see may be believed to be real.

Take this image for example the sky was a 10 minute long exposure at around 6pm but the city lights only come on at 7 or so.. In the end I had to wait an hour just to get the right light I needed. This does not take into account the actual processing of it which took me another 1 and a half hours. I would have never imagined doing so much work for an image when I first picked up my camera.. but in order for me to present my world to you.. it is a necessity.

I hope you like the image and my world.

I was going to do this picture with a plain background at first , but then I decided to put a load of 1p's and 2p's underneath it . I have this piggy bank full of 1p's and 2p's because I kinda collect them , so I thought it'd work out for this photo . I heard this quote of Tumblr and it sounded really cool so I wanted to use it my own way .

~ I'm getting quite annoyed at the comments that are going on .. everyone is saying "but money buys me happiness" .. but that's not that point . money can't buy love or friends or family . Money can't buy relationships . Imagine if you had no people in your life .. just money ! You'd be pretty alone and sad . All i'm saying is that there are some people out there who have got no relationships .. and just money . In my opinion , those people are poor , because they haven't got love in their lives .

This is another paradox that I've been working on for a couple of days. It describes a person with psychological problems such as schizophrenia, insanity, depression or other mental problems. His endless screaming makes his own mind eat him up.

I have periods in my life where I feel like this. I wanted to make an illustration of my thoughts and my pain within.

Equipment used: pencils (3B, 4B, 6B, 5H) stompf/blending stumps, charcoal, tissues and an eraser.

Yeah alright I'll explain stuff.

For anyone who's been paying attention to my journals they'll have realised that the concept is all about evolution. However lets not go all Darwin here as overtly fascinating as apes are. Now my initial idea was to have a ceremony of opposites, which has essentially been pulled off. Contrasting scenes of exhuberant paradise and paralysing doom, thus the image holds true to the concept aesthetically. But to a more fulfilling ideal, on the one side you have a human, gazing towards the light, bathing in its majesty and quite possibly having a whale of a time, on the other hand we have the skeleton, a dead human facing away from the light, hiding in the shadow of the railings. Thus the image echoes the choices sentiment of the included typography.

There's a lot more to it than that as well, but where's the fun if the artist gives you all the answers? Jump into this one and hopefully enjoy it. It'd make me happy if you did. And no, I wouldn't change it for the world, else I wouldn't have submitted it.

Technically, the image is a few steps forward again. The original working resolution proved to be too large for my computer to handle (Especially with regards to swap files, damned photoshop). It is composed of a composite of three terragen renders placed side by side (but those renders were stitches of the same render except made larger via stitching different views... that's a lot of renders and a lot of stitching). You're staring at about 20 renders total, with a total render time of between 30 and 40 hours. That's a lot of sitting around and doing nothing for me. Win. But the key point was that the initial terrain files were made as such so that the renders would fit together perfectly with as little photoshop interference as possible, including height maps so the half-height atmospheres wouldn't fight each other, and surface maps so either side could blend. To put it simply, it's a pain in the ass to do properly, but it was worthwhile. If you would like to see the image without photoshop work, check [link] . From then on, post render was all achieved in photoshop with numerous photo-references garnered from [link] - which has once again proved to been an invaluable resource (I SUCK with anatomy, so with drawing the skeleton it was a superb website to check back to). In total, the image has taken about a month to accomplish, but I'm proud.

On a final note, there's a snail in the image somewhere. Think of it as a "where's wally/waldo" game, go find him, but don't tell others where he is, that's cheating.

This image comes as is if you're just wishing to delve in and take a look, however if you click the download button, you can use the larger (and I'm afraid, lower quality) image as a wallpaper. If you are in need of a larger size, then you're going to have to note me, since I'm very wary of releasing large resolution images to the public for my own arts protection.

Well, this is a commission for a client from India. This is an illustration for his upcoming book and I had the pleasure to draw it!! I really loved his concept, I don't want to reveal too much about it! But there is much much symbolism in this painting and I was able to incorporate all my creativity and imagination into this painting! It was much fun to draw!

Hey there guys,
It is quite some time since my last upload, sorry for that, I just couldn't make something new, some sort of art block or something dunno, but here is another wallpaper that I hope you like.
I really enjoyed making this while listening to "Two steps form hell" it was inspiring, in the beginning I wanted to make something else, but it felt wrong so I looked on google for inspiration, found something really nice, tried to make something similar but i didn't like it so i said .. f*ck this sh*t close everything and start from scratch and let the flow come on the way to the end... so here is the result, no planing no nothing just my mind going free.
I also tried to stay as close as i could to the NASA telescope pictures of our beautiful space.

Used Apophysis,Photoshop and also Wacom.

Another drawing completed over the Xmas period. I had no computer but I did have my pens!

I hoped to have this one online before Xmas as I think it kind of resembles a snowflake.. Oh well, it tends to snow more in January here in the UK

I have a few more to submit .. Maybe I'll get round to scanning and uploading tomorrow.

This is an amazing place. The path leads out to an overlook of the Ojai Valley in California. I have lived in Ojai for a year and can truly say that I've never been a place so amazing. Ojai is know for it's spiritual diversity which makes it all the more interesting.

Been doing some doodling. I really like the colors in this one, real muddy and earthy. Painted up in Photoshop like I do, about 9 hours probably. I threw a couple of half hearted galaxies in the mix, don't hate me :/

uhmmm.... this is some sort of greyfox-assassin-ninja-robot-guy

this was lurking on my HDD since a month now. i still have this massive art block thing, but i followed some advices people gave me (like watching a movie/listening to music or just keep drawing) at least i finished something today.
