The Molly and Schmendrik were created by the team and I added the fur to Schmendrick and altered the bag and boots P: The unicorn is entirely my own work :3 I can turn my sister into a unicorn but when it comes to clothes... man I hate making clothes XD I would rather commission someone X3
(you cannot see it but I tattered the edge of my brown skirt and wore a white slip, and was barefoot! staying true to character)
(dear gawd my hair, I made it as fluffy and messy as possible and it was so not fun detangling it that night!)

Our friend makes such a great Schmendrick, he is kind hearted and at times unintentionally goofy just like the character...
I am also amused that just like his fursuit this costume is blue X3

The Dark Tower

A very familiar tower for some, especially after you have seen ~justeline's version of it. I do have a similar shot with Maria's Prisoners of the Dusk but since our watchers are more or less common I don't want to bore you with repetition of the same things with a small change of angle. Pass by Maria's picture though if you are interested on the story behind those sets of photographs.

Anyway this is my shot around fifteen minutes later when the sun had set and has stopped reflecting on the tower walls making it the perfect "Dark Tower"

Haaaaaahhhh, it's finally done!

So, for the question: are there unicorns on Dumaria?

Yes, yes there are.

'cept they're be called Unikahn. Now y'all know where the 'kahn' suffix came from: from my middle school self's desire to be so original that I made up a world where the only difference between normal unicorns and Dumarian unikahn was the spelling. They've changed a bit since then

As a side note: the males are white, the females are black. I also imagined the females acting somewhat like ninja-amazons, hence, the muntjak style fangs. [EDIT] ~Nafah's suggestion vaulted the female's coloring from black to somewhat iridescent black (like a magpie or raven), so thanks for the suggestion to add more color to her shading

Easily more than 100 hours put in on this one, since it started out as a work doodle I never intended on finishing. Planning, folks, makes things go much smoother. Lack of the aforementioned is responsible for at least half of those hours.

This is the holy tiger of evanescence.

I spend countless hours to draw this picture... I hope you like it

I wanted the tiger, especially his head, to pop out and be the focus of this picture. The strawberries are growing out of the tendrils, that are coming from the touch of the tigers paw and the ground. The tiger is the holy God of Evanescence, which means, where he goes there is life for a short time, in this case the strawberries on the ground of the forest, before they wilt and are gone. Evanescence for me means leaving life, which happens with time, so the clock around the tigers neck also has a meaning.

At the beginning of December, we decided to go take some pictures. My husband had mentioned that he bikes past a few shrines on his way to one of his schools, so we grabbed the camera bag and headed out. It turns out, this is a rather large Hachiman shrine, the Komo Hachiman Shrine 「薦神社」I cannot wait to go back again to get more pictures!

Palomino is last year's debut steed, now seen with a longer neck which also houses improved vision out the neck (vs out the nose like last year) all of these suits have neck vision.
Trigger the black Friesian is a fully created costume.
The other two, a Kirin and a Hell Pony, will have fullsuits eventually, for now my white body suit and Ino's faun legs stood in for that for the sake of the event.

I love bringing creatures to life and seeing these four romp the Fantasy Fair this weekend made me decide that even if I hardly have the time to work, even if I do not feel up to working, even though emotions are still haunting me, I need to push myself harder.
I have so many commissions I am looking forward to seeing completed, I want to see more of my creations come to life, so I need to put my nose to the grindstone and try to get back into working full throttle.

I am very fond of this style of equine suit <3 the long necks further desensitize the viewer from seeing a human in a costume

^{My first triptych. (an artwork composed by 3 photos.) Inspired by a quote from the tv series by Stephen King "Rose Red" (that I adore). These, as you can see, are the 3 layers of the human being: bones, flesh (comprehending muscles, organs, veins, fat and etc.) and skin.
"...And this, this is the world we live in and experience with our senses. Skin, smooth and rational. Where every cause has an effect and can be predicted with data at hand. But there's a world under that world. Blood, under the skin. It's liquid instead of solid. Hot instead of just warm. It is a world full of mystery. You don't like it, do you? No. You're afraid of what's under the skin. But I'm not. Do you hear me? I'm not."

PLEASE READ: If you're wondering, YES this is ENTIRELY make up, no photoshop. It took 4 hours and a half in total to do the 2 face/bodypaints. Someone pointed out that they are not anatomically perfect... and I reply: there's still my face and body under all that make up, there are obvious limitations and difficulties as you can imagine.

Dragon Egg Dice Holder- Any Color

A wonderful alternative to the standard dice bag! Useful for holding gaming dice, or just for added flare for a costume, this is the first of my molded dice holders. It is loosely based on the idea of a Japanese inro, which were small, intricately made containers that served as coin purses. This holder features a Western-style dragon that curls an egg-shaped container. It is breathing fire at a tiny knight on horseback.

Please note that I can use any color scheme you wish, particularly if you want the dragon to be a specific color. I can change the rhinestone in its eye to suit, as well. The bead at the top is subject to change, but I always try to make it fit the colors of the egg.

I make each dice holder as an order comes in, so please be sure to specify what colors you would like to see in your order.

The egg is about 5 inches tall and 3 inches wide. It is made of a durable sculpting resin.

Ki'rin Monk

I had this gal half finished for the longest time and completely forgot about her. So I decided to finish her up.

I love ki'rins. They're easily my second favorite mythological beasts. The first being gryphons... duh. >_>

I also love martial arts though I don't practice them myself (other then Tai Chi... but I don't think that counts). I've had a long standing fascination with monks like the Shaolin who do practice martial arts.

So naturally I'd eventually try putting the two together.

This cutie may be small, but she could definitely hold her own in a fight. However, she is a peaceful monk who only uses her martial arts as self defense and as an aid for spiritual betterment.

She was meant to be a one-time character for this picture but since I put as much love into designing one-shot characters as I do my own personal characters I figured it'd be a shame to let a lovely gal like this go to waste. Therefore I'm auctioning off the character design so she can possibly go to someone who will appreciate her. If you like her design, she can be yours.

Bloodi Epic Mount - Rapunzel

Just to proof that I didn't stop to do private art completely. This took me soooo much time and effort though! XD

So... this is basically to be blamed on my buddy Tascun, who draw me this awesome little thing as a gift: --> [link] as well as Blue_Panther, who made this [link]

Combined these two pieces created the strong urge in me to make my very own series out of this. My idea was it to adjust Bloodi to his "rider" in style and "clothing", which is why Bloodi is so bright in this picture, as well as more slender than usual. ^___^

For that I needed two volunteers. *g* Shade asked me to pick his lovely character Rapunzel for this one.

The next one I have completed for , but since it's to be her birthday gift I'm gonna withold that for a while.

I might offer these as commissions though, in case people are interested, so keep your eyes open! ^___^

This is my Kira costume from The Dark Crystal, THE BEST MOVIE EVARRRRR. >:3

I spent about three days making the actual outfit and many more on the mask. I was going to cast it in latex, but my latex delivery was late and I had to make do with a fast sculpey mask made in time for San Diego Comic-Con I REALLY wanted to do my much better mask, but there was no time to get more latex! So it'll have to wait for the next con. The eyes are clear plastic with painted details on them. the pupils were left transparent so I could see out of them...just barely!

Much of the costume is hand-sewn, hand-dyed and hand-beaded to give it a more authentic feel. I tried to copy how the original Kira puppet was made, even painting under-sections of the wig blue like they did for the movie. This is probably my MOST comfortable costume EVER, since the underdress is made of moleskin fabric. The gauzy bits are hand-dyed as well.

I didn't have time to finish the wings and didn't want to rush them, so I will add them in before I wear this next.

The golden throne was a prop set erected by Marvel in the Comic-Con exhibitors' hall. MUCH MUCH MUCH thanks to Judy , our photographer, who got us in to take pictures on this thing! I don't think we could have possibly waited in that huge line long enough, otherwise!

I love this picture because it reminds me of a combination of two scenes from the Dark Crystal...the gold throne in the Skeksis throne room, and when Kira sits on the throne in the gelfling ruins. It's so neat!

My entry for the Yuumei-contest! c: This was very fun to do. I'm surprised that it came out so serious and 'deep' though x3. I usually choose a humorous approach to things, but in this case, where most of the other entries were humorous, I chose to do something serious for once c:

I wanted to do something different too. And since there were so many comics about the quirks of an artist, I wanted to do one that described the 'evolution of an artist'. I find it interesting how some people have always known that they wanted to be an artist (me for example x3) I wonder why this is. Why do some children become interested in art, while others don't?
I also find it intersting how you keep maturing as an artist as you get older. I don't know if you ever truly 'bloom' though, like in the comic. You keep evolving as long as you live. But i do believe there's a point in every artists life, where you figure out what you want to do, or get another kind of artistic revelation.

I hope you like this! Since it was so long, I had to spend less time on the art, and more time on actually getting it finished. I tried to let the style change bit as the main characters gets older though. It's more sketchy when she's young, and gets more mature as she gets older.

Even though the main characters is named Ida, it's not really me this comic is about. I'm still struggling with finding out were I want to go with my art. I hope that one day I will find out though c:

I'm sorry if there are any spelling mistakes in here. If you find any, please tell me! c: I'm also a bit unsure about the the word 'bloom', at the end of the comic. In norwegian, there's this word, 'blomstre', which means when a flower is fully matured, but can also be used to describe sometging else, like a person, who's finally... matured in something. In appearance for example. or art, music etc. I used google translate to find a similar word in english, but all it gave me was the word 'flourish', which I don't think is right. I searched for a better word, and found 'bloom'. what do yout think about this? Does it seem like the right word?

They are magically transported to a place only known as Amusement Park Between, a park that co-exist within any other and is only accessible by those who are of its blood. There are no limits and no humans. The only residents are the rides. However, they are much different from our own. Amusement Park Betweens rides are ALIVE, having both the characteristics of man and beast. Amusement Park Between was once merry and joyous, but for the past several years it has spiraled into turmoil. An evil tyrant known as Ironwheel has taken control, casting a dark shadow over Amusement Park Between, and whose evil intentions endanger both their world and our own. The rides only hope is the key to their prophecy; the red will defeat the black. That particular key is the only ride that was created differently. The red roller coaster, Railrunner. AND THIS IS HIS STORY.

also, some of my friends were surprised that i don't have an oc. so i deciaded to make one -u-!

her name is luminaire, and she's a half demon <.<''.
she also has the power to control someone's mind up to 3 hours form any distance.
she has a mind of her own and doesn't follow others' orders or requests.
so if she was summoned, she does what she thinks is better, and she can't stay out of the water for more than 1 day because she doesn't have enough skin layers since she's half human..

the kanji here is 'tamashii', which is 'soul' o3o

This was a bitch to do, and I'm kinda mixed on how I feel about it. It looks pretty badass, but not as badass as I imagined it.

But badass nonetheless.

So, the horse is entirely repainted. There might be a tiny bit of base showing through, but I don't even know anymore. It was a lot of painting. D:

If anyone has critique to help me out, please do. I might not necessarily fix it... because I'm a lazy bum... but it's possible.
