So how about some unseen Iceland shots to announce my new workshops next year?

A wave, rushing back into the ocean, formed countless stripes and a focusing formation on the black beach of Jökulsárlón.
The image was shot during my first (of 2) 'Land of Ice' 2013 workshop- the glacier beach is one of its main features.

I have been very busy with work this last few days and it seems like everytime i sit on my desk and try to pick/edit the shots i want something else happens and i forget
I hope this next week i can find time to work on a few new conceptual shots i have in mind but in the meantime here's another shot of the tulip's at the public garden.

Editting done: I upped the contrast and saturation, and lowered the gamma slightly.

Edit: No, I did NOT use photoshop for this image. Like you can see above the editting done is minor. I took this photo on a misty morning in a forest where the snow, which had conserved the colours of the leafs on the ground well, had almost melted away. The reason why the path is white is because of the left-over snow, the reason why the background is white/greyish is because of the thick fog and the reason why the leafs are red is because they were If you got good circumstances you don't need to post-process much.

My mirror just shows me. Me but not inside me. I would really like to see through it, to discover my real soul, my own true self. I am not afraid. I will pay the price for the knowledge... And maybe one day I’ll find this magic mirror among the universe mysteries, maybe in the moonlight’s thousands rosettes, maybe into the crystal fairies’ iced lakes, maybe into the sky’s abalone mourning whispers or just simply into the eyes of the one I love and who loves me…

I have taken this shot on august 19, from the Abbey ramparts of the Mont St Michel, north-west of France, at low tide. It was about 5:00 pm and the light was very surreal, like a grey light, which is absolutely impossible, but here’s the result… The big fluffy clouds were softly reflecting on the merged salt and sand surface which seemed to be made of pearly smoke…
The sea, so far away, was secretly flirting with the horizon, waiting for the night to come back again and wash my thoughts away…

No colour manip here, just a little bit of contrast and frame added with Paint Shop Pro…

Part III of my long exposure squarecrop self portrait series. Only the autumn version is to be done now!

The big challenge in this shot was to sit still for 30 seconds (not even proper breathing was allowed) after running back and forth between the rocks and the camera. The huge amount of mosquitos around didn't make the job easier either...

I've made several attempts, this is the only one that turned out me being sharp. Had I succeeded earlier, the iso could've been as low as 100. I gave it a run through Noise Ninja though (for color noise only) just in case.

Behind the wave - a colorful vortex...

I shot this during sunset, again with a slow shutter speed to capture the movement of the wave. Out of the hundreds of thousands of shots I've attempted, it's extremely difficult to get a good back of the wave vortext shot, especially one so colorful (no I did not photoshop it). So I was pretty lucky here.
