The advanced/prestigious/experienced version of Dark Queen Guinevere for Applibot's Legend of the Cryptids game.
I really had a ball doing the costuming for this one - particularly the helmet - as well as being able to employ a little more "sauce" in the ladies' outfits.
I was going to go over the top with the queen's regalia but decided that a vampire queen would probably rely more on force of personality and less on flash and flesh to exact her will.

Higanbana or Spider Lily has various meanings and a lot of legends around it. In Hanakotoba, the language of the flowers, it means never to meet again/Lost memory/Abandonment and it is said that when someone leaves and you are never meant to meet again a path of spider lilies will appear. It has other meanings also do check out if you are interested, I just thought it was very appropiate for Sasuke.

A re-working of an image I made in 2009 when the snow was here...

The abbey was founded in 1147. The co-founders of Roche were Richard de Busli, likely the great-nephew of the first Roger de Busli, the Norman magnate builder of Tickhill Castle, and Richard FitzTurgis. When the monks first arrived in South Yorkshire from Newminster Abbey in Northumberland, they chose the most suitable side of the stream that runs through the valley, on which to build their new Cistercian monastery.

Twenty-five years later, at the end of the century, the Norman Gothic great church had been finished, as well as most of the other buildings.

From the start, the Abbey of Roche, built for the so-called White Monks, as the Cistercians were known, had an almost otherworldly air. It was, after all, built at the northern end of an area once covered by Sherwood Forest, and it was said that Robin Hood went to Mass here.

The Roche Abbey records were lost or destroyed so there are no accounts of what went on in the abbey, other than there were 14 monks and an unknown number of novices at the time of dissolution in 1538.

Left in ruin, the land passed through many private hands until the 4th Earl of Scarbrough decided it needed revitalising to enhance his adjoining family seat at Sandbeck Park. Lord Scarborough enlisted the talents of Capability Brown.

With an astonishing disregard for history, Brown demolished buildings, built large earth mounds and turfed the whole site.[15] Until the end of the 19th century Roche Abbey remained buried beneath Brown's work and wooded parkland. But subsequent excavation in the 1920s returned Roche to its former splendour.

Sooo Dcember's 28th is the "Innocents' Day", some kind of Spanish April Fools, and I decided to draw something mixing typical spanish characters and yaoi/shojo manga.
I won't translate it because it wouldn't make any sense, I'm sorry!

Ham-ham Ponies 2 : CMC and Princesses

My second batch of Hamster-ified ponies from MLP:FiM, this time with the Cutie Mark Crusaders and the Alicorn Princesses.

The fillies (and colts) have some more chubby and small body type than the adult hams, their head being the same size as the body. The alicorns, while not being that much different in body type than the regular adult ham-ponies, should be taller if they were side to side with each others. (That would be better if I had a size chart sheet... Thing that surely, I should doodle sometimes soon.)

For the next batch of six I'm thinking about doing some colts (Shining Armor, Dr. Whooves and Big Mac) + Vinyl Scratch and Octavia + one mare I haven't yet picked.
The one after that should feature some of the vilains (Chrysalis, Nightmare Moon, Discord (this one will be hard as hell to do, but hey, challenge.) King Sombra, etc?) Though Maybe I should do the vilains first? :2

This is old artwork, it has a year or so, I couldn't show it becouse it's A3 size. I've bought a new scanner that automatically merges the scanned parts. Hey, maybe this is not very new but for me it's like magic UX_D
Also, this must be the first time I upload a scanned watercolor that is not retouched with Photoshop...

I think I'm going to propose to my new scanner.

Proportions are very very weird, she has a shorter leg, but well, I still like the final result. I like the colors.

Watercolors, gouache and acrylics, mixed media on canson paper.

Done in 2010 winter. This one is incredibly time-consuming! And soon I understood that I can't afford this painting process anymore... /sad
To avoid some ppl printing my works for sale, I decide to add watermark to my works.
I modified some details just based on my preference, so please don't mind the difference between this one and the original design of Altair.

Well...some people have noticed there's a cross hanging on his arm. That's indeed a part of rosary beads. But there's also another strand of prayer beads named misbaha, which belongs to Islam.
Altair had a Christian mother and a Muslim father. And he married Maria Thorpe who was once a Templar.
I suppose there's no need for Altair to choose any side of religions, but many impotant affairs happened in his life, were most between Christians or Muslims, due to the period he lived at. That's why I add these elements as a sign of his complicated life.

Redraw of for the DTA contest.

I had deleted most of my old-old art from this gallery so I had to pick something that I knew I'd draw differently now so I went with this one.

I know a lot of people will be like "OMG I LIKE THE OLD ONE MORE!" but there's no going back for me so if you really want to see my art look like that your best bet is to go out and buy the old volumes of RE: Play off ebay, sorry.

The old one was drawn huge and inked with microns, the new one was drawn standard comic page size and was inked with a maru-pen and a brush pen, this is why the original one has much finer more mechanical inking.

So yeah, I'm sure some of you will prefer that and while I certainly dont hate the old one I have no love lost for that old inking, it looks so dead to me now lol.
