Basic Font Information
=================

Neuton is a clean, dark, somewhat Dutch-inspired serif font which reminds you a little of Times. It has a large height, short extenders, and a compact width for better screen use, and economy of space.

The family will comprise a regular, italic, and cursive, each in five weights and with smallcaps. Two italics one called "italic", and the other "cursive" are uncommon, but very useful. Ever tried emphasizing something already emphasized? Beyond that obvious example, there are other uses.

Sometimes a text needs a different flavor or feel. While one roman can work for a variety of texts, the companion italics don't always. In more classical or personal documents, a stiff, sober, modern and down-to-earth italic will never work. And in many essays, some of the fancier italics look ridiculous. Who said a roman needs only one companion?

Neuton is in continuing development and will come to have:

* A cursive variant

Whew. So the video player is done in LS. It is kinda sorta functional. The video comes from a DWM thumbnail of a winamp video and the buttons are overlays that control play/pause prev/next. While this sounds like it's pretty cool, it is an absolute nightmare to use (and DWM is a nightmare to work with in litestep). I would not recommend that anybody try this haha. Baaaad idea.

In retrospect, I should've spent the time on a small icon set, but last night literally the only night I had to work on this and by the time I was done with the video player, Faenza was looking especially nice to me .

Other cool things: the bottom bar slides up serves as a launcher and taskbar. Pressing on the round switch hides the tasks and displays a dock-like launcher bar. Pressing the window icon next to it hides the launcher and brings up the taskbar. I wanted to show this functionality, but the taskbar is incomplete and again, I didn't have time to make icons to match the wood. Plus, when extended, the bottom bar is 70px tall and I know how much you guys hate big taskbars

Based on Twitterrific for Mac's UI, Fluffy not only reproduces the Twitterrific UI but expands on it, including various effects, animations and features.

Based on adiumyCore, this is the most robust theme I have created to date.

Instructions:

1. Download Universal Theme Patcher. Run in it Administrative mode (right-click > "Run as administrator"),

UAC must be turned off.
After patch, restart the computer to take effect.

2. Select the theme according to where you place your superbar.

3. Extract contents (Win7-Blend 2.0.theme & Win7-Blend 2.0 folder) into C:\Windows\Resources\Themes
and double-click on Win7-Blend 2.0.theme
Then restart to make sure everything works properly.

5. Take ownership of explorerframe.dll in System32 folder and copy the appropriate explorerframe.dll replacing the original!. Make sure to make a backup of the original in case of instability. (i dont know how to take permission manually, but i search for a software on google)

6. Restart computer and you are done

Here is my new theme, Adagio, a visual style for Windows 7. Aero and Basic interface support, x32 and x64 fully compatible, with, in exclusivity, the introduction of the "info extended" for explorer (for more informations, visit: [link]).

I) Presentation
A) Description:

I decided to create this theme after I have discovered Silent Night by DaHLiA-7. It's a theme which inspired me a lot for the creation of this visual style. In particular, I was seduced by the harmony of its colors.
I wanted to create a theme simple, elegant and fully usable. The simplicity and the elegance are represented by the mixture of black, white, gray and blue, as dominant colors, which are my 4 favorite colors, but also by the purified design of the entire interface and finally by the slight transparency (aero effect) I added to the startmenu and for taskbar.
The theme is compatible with aero interface, but also with basic mode, for x32 and x64 bits systems and with (almost) all the applications.

b) Exclusivity:

I also introduced some changes in terms of use: by incorporating fundamental changes in explorer and in your registry, I propose you a new experience. Now the informations you need when you're browsing your explorer are immediately available. For example the "big icons" view displays not only the name of the folder on which you have just clicked but also its type, its size (exactly like ) etc. Other example, when you are consulting a music file, explorer displays direcly and automatically almost all the necessaries informations available for you: name, type (mp3, wma ...), size, bitrate, durations ...Same thing for the others kind of files and for others kind of preview.
Normally, some of this information is displayed only in the details pane.
I think it's simpler, more beautiful and more efficient.

c) Limitations knows:

Of course, the theme may contain some inconveniences:
For aesthetic reasons I had to delete the search box from startmenu.
The text of the internet explorer's adressbar is not correctly positioned (for IE8).

II) Installation
a) Conditions
For Windows 7 build 7600 (don't try it with an earlier version= beta)
You system must be patched --> [link]
Aero and Basic support
x32 and x64 fully compatible
The archive Adagio.rar contains" :
- Adagio.theme file
- Adagio folder (adagio.msstyles etc)
- System files folder
- Tools folder ( Patch files for your system, TakeControl.exe)
- Calmness.jpg (wallpaper)
- Info Extended folder (with 2 registry files)
= 8 Mo

b) Installation:
Before any modification, make a restore point ! .

1) Theme installation:
Extract the content of the archive in your themes folder : Letterofyourdisk/windows/resources/themes (or select the "adagio" folder and move it in your themes folder. You must get something like that:
Letterofyourdisk/windows/resources/themes/Adagio.theme
Letterofyourdisk/windows/resources/themes/Adagio/Adagio.msstyles
Letterofyourdisk/windows/resources/themes/Adagio Wallpaper

to apply the theme:
- double-click on "Adagio.theme"
- or, right-clik on desktop, personalize and choose the"Adagio"theme
- or with tune up utilities, avestyler or win7stylebuilder...

2) System files installation (only 2): explorerframe.dll and explorer.exe
Choose the files corresponding to your system (x64 or x32) and you language (french or english=others languages too)
After, take the complete control of these 2 files, rename and replace them by my own files modified.
explorerframe.dll: change explorer's buttons, the organisation of icons and it allows you to display the "info extended" (necessary !)
explorer.exe: change the startmenu's orb (optionnal but it's better)

Restart your PC

3) "Info extended" application (it requires the modifications of some parts of your registry: but don't worry, there is no risk)
Make a backup of your registry if you want: open it, unhide the menubar, click on "file" and "export" all your registry.
in the archive you will find a folder called "Info Extended for Explorer": just double-click on the registry file appropriate to apply automatically the modifications.

c) Advices on use:
After the complete installation, you can use Adagio like you want. Nevertheless I recommend you follow these instructions to optimize the use of this theme.
1) - Delete some items (such as the control panel, printer ...) in the right pane of start menu in order to reduce its size like in the screenshot: --> [link]
2) - Use the taskbar positioned on the top (TopTaskBar) to benefit from a better depiction in terms of colors.
3) - Use this application, created by SweatyFish, to add a slight shadow below the taskbar.
4) - Use small icons for the taskbar (and"never combined" mode).
5) - With the "info extended", the detail pane is no longer needed. You can disable it.

c) F.A.Q:

1) For what OS this theme is ?
For Windows 7 build 7600

2) Sorry i'm beginner, how to install it ?
Please read II) b) 1)

3) I tried to install the theme, like indicated, but i didn't succeed !!!
Make sure your system is patched and you extracted the archive in the correct path to get the right tree like shown in II) b) 1)

4) The theme is applied, but how to replace the 2 system files ?
Select your original and current files, rename them and replace them my own files in the archive

5) The system files replacement didn't work, how to do ?!!!
Make sure your UAC (User Account Control) is disabled and you have taken the full control of these files

6) What are the "info extended for Explorer ? Is there risk ?
These improvements bring a new experience for your browser: they allow you to display directly and automatically all the needed informations in your explorer when you selected any item, folder or file. Don't worry there is no risk
If you a careful person, you can create a restore point and save your registry before any modification.

7) All is installed, but I experience a problem !
At first, verify if the description and the resolution of this problem are not already mentionned in my comment ( III)-c) ). Otherwise, please explain me in detail the "bug", by accompanying your description of a screenshot of what's wrong.
More you will be precise, the better I could help you

8) I like your current theme but can you change such or such part ?
It depends: if the desired changes are not numerous, and on the other hand if they remain faithful to the spirit of the theme, and above all if these modifcations improve really the visual style, I'm ready to edit it.

9) Can you port this theme for Vista or Snow Leopard ?
Sorry but I don't use any of these two systems. So I can't port it myself. But if you able to do it or if you know someone ready to do it, the permissions are accorded.

==SLIDE TO UNLOCK ISSUES (thanks to JackTheMan27)==

For those that can't get the "slide to unlock" text to disapear then do this:

1. Locate file "SpringBoard.strings" in System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/English.lproj/
(Or Sv.Iproj if the language is Swedish, for example)

2. edit using Notepad and remove the text "slide to unlock" in the brackets on the first line.

When you first open it you see this:
""AWAY_LOCK_LABEL" = "slide to unlock";...."

You want it to change it so it looks like this:
""AWAY_LOCK_LABEL" = "";...."

========CEASING SUPPORT FOR THIS THEME========

Typophone 4 was started with humble intentions, but has now grown beyond my capability to maintain. As of this update, I will no longer be giving technical support for this theme, as I want to work on other things. Though I would still very much like to hear comments and criticisms. ===TO EVERYONE ON FIRMWARES LOWER THAN 4.x.x===

I know you have this issue of 88:88 appearing behind the background, and I've had literally 50 people a day ask me this, The problem lies in the way iOS4 handles backgrounds ever since Apple added the customizable wallpaper feature. Since I've made my theme to work with iOS4 and not 3.x.x, I will not be releasing a fix for this problem in my theme.
BUT! There IS a simple fix! All you have to do is go into the theme folder and open up style.css, then find this code:

background-image:url('/private/var/mobile/Library/SpringBoard/LockBackground.jpg');

and change it to:

background-image:url('LockBackground.png');

Done!

====ALSO, BATTERY IS CURRENTLY IMPOSSIBLE=====
Yep. Because the battery is shown behind my theme, it's because of the way iOS works. Sorry guys. :S

5. Go to Cydia and download "Lockscreen Clock Hide"

1. Use SSH Client to navigate to the theme folder
2. Open up functions.js
3. Go to line 2: "AM_PM = true" and change it to "AM_PM = false"
4. Done!

2. replace LockBackground.png with whatever image you'd like.

What is it?

By what tools you accomplish this?
_{1.I sketch the whole icon set on the paper, then scan into computer.
2. Then I paint with Paintool SAI, and save it as transparent PNG image.
3.I then convert them to icon file using [link]}

The Gaia10 LS comes with 2 taskbar styles and 3 widgets. To install, simply extract the contents of Gaia10_LS.zip and double click on the .lsz file.

It's been a while

A quick shot of my current setup (then it's back to work... ) All of the widgets are done in LS (so everything that's not in a window is ls)

I know I usually give out my themes, but I'm going to be pretty firm about not handing this one out (among other reasons, it's not very complete and it has a lot of code from the gaia10 ls that hasn't been released yet! Mind you, this doesn't look anything like the gaia ls for this year ).

Visual Style: Windows Classic
Wallpaper: modified image which I found on wikipedia, I think.
3DC: mod of dusk by deele

using glass2k for transparency, rest is pretty much made by me.

the litestep is a mod of this theme. I kept all the elements from the original one, just moved around all the things a little and I am using hotspotshizzle for the tray which is now in the top right corner slightly to the left (so I can still access the max min close buttons when something is in fullscreen, hope you know what I mean...)

this might look better with a pixelfont, but I don't like pixelfonts for a daily use

oh and the winamp skin is still quite conceptual. maybe I'll do some more nasty things to it another time.
