He was joking, as I am now.  <br /><br />The real reason I did this was to see if it would work in the full piece.  The original plan was to include Tinkerbell, in scale, with the Princesses, but I don&#039;t think I will include her in the final piece as it really doesn&#039;t work on this scale.<br /><br />Tinkerbell is made of Canson paper.  She is a little over 3/4" tall and a little over 1/2" wide.  She is made of 20 pieces of paper.  Her eye lashes are drawn on, not paper.<br /><br />I had trouble with the category, I couldn&#039;t find "insane" in the system.<br /><br />Tinkerbell copyright Disney.<br /><br />**Edit:  I added pupils and eye lashes. Done as a gift for a friend's birthday (which is tomorrow).<br /><br />7.5" tall by about 5" wide. Done with Canson Mi-Teintes, Canson Effects and Canford papers, black polyester thread and innumerable x-acto blades. The black paper is the only Canford paper. It doesn't have a texture and has a very slight sheen. I'm not sure about it yet, but it holds shaping and glue very well.<br /><br />I'm not sure how long this took in total, but the boots alone took nearly one full weekend. The Effects paper (the silver buckles) has three layers, the reflective front and back and a fibrous inner layer. When cut into small details, it tends to split. Fresh blades helped, but it was still slow going. I would like to thank all the deviants who gave me lots of very useful suggestions in my recent journal entry <img src="http://e.deviantart.com/emoticons/b/biggrin.gif" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" title=":D (Big Grin)" /> I incorperated the hunchy back, huge mane, muscular human like figure. I am very satisfied with the head design, original and neat <img src="http://e.deviantart.com/emoticons/b/biggrin.gif" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" title=":D (Big Grin)" /> Ok, the problems: the claws are a bit smaller than my expectation, it can be enlarged, what do you think?. Also I am not very sure about the tail, I folded it like that to give the model standing support. Also the toes, should it be 5 or 4 digits? I use 5 here. From a big square of Japanese foil  paper (60x60cm roughly). The front  claws came from 2 corners of the  square, hind most appendeges from the  rest 2 corners, the middle appendages  from the center of paper, making them  the thickest. The head and mandible  from one raw edge while the antennae  from the center of paper. I am too lazy  to draw the creasing pattern <img src="http://e.deviantart.com/emoticons/b/biggrin.gif" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" title=":D (Big Grin)" /><br />
