Fffuuuu it's finally finished ! A background-less version of this has been entered in WeLoveFine's 'Ponies Vs Villains' contest!

I doubt I'd ever get round to doing it anytime soon, but I would love to animate this at some point!

The only things taken directly from Sonic 2's screen was the text below the main title. I didn't want this to be a copy-paste job so the rest was drawn using with the original as a reference picture.

How I imagine this game would play out:
Play as Rainbow and/or her sidekick Scootaloo (lets just say she can fly temporarily like Tails ). Rescue Fluttershy's animals and collect the 6 Elements of Harmony to stop Discord's chaotic plans!

The Wheel of Fate is turning.

What can I say? I just had the strangest compulsion to draw the three Pie sisters. Not just Inkie and Blinkie. Not just filly Pinkie. But all together. Because the idea of these three sisters having fun and smiling together is just so heartwarming.

The relationship between Pinkie and her two sisters is...interesting. We assume that Pinkie just ended up having a great relationship with her family after she discovered her love for parties and smiles and her cutie mark. And...why shouldn't we just assume that? Who's to say that the Pie family didn't just turn into the brightest, party-loving rock farm family in their town, like Pinkie said! I have enough faith in Pinkie to believe that's true! Or at least that it was a more gradual process than she let on.

I like to think of this piece taking place at a time when all three sisters are supposed to be doing their chores or getting ready for bed, but can't help but tussle and tumble with each other in a playful ball of filly fur! Pinkie will do anything to make her sisters smile, even it means being as nimble as an acrobat! She's able to bring real genuine smiles to Inkie and Blinkie's faces, and their love for each other just grows with each one of those grins!

If you follow me on Facebook you may have seen me posting here and there about a Harley Quinn image that I've been TRYING to get out the door and here it finally is.

I was a bit torn with this piece at first and I must have done six to eight different layouts trying to get what I wanted out of it. I'm definitely a fan of the Batman animated series Harley, but I REALLY like the look of the Arkham City video game Harley. The catch with Arkham City Harley is that, with all due respect, she has little personality and zero expression in comparison to the bat-shit-crazy animated series Harley--a character trait that I think really defines the character. I just couldn't get myself to draw the stone faced Harley depicted in the game so I thought I'd try my best to mash the two very different versions of the character together and see what comes out.

Things looked pretty good to me when I was done with the pencils, but I have to admit that I did not foresee how expressive and energetic Ula's colors would make this. Once again I have to tip my hat to her for her making my pencils pale in comparison to the fully rendered color version.

looks like she's in character select for a guilty gear game XD coloring without lineart is hard.

I just love Lili, coz her planeswalker cards embody what black mana is all about--tutoring, card destruction, necromancy, bending your opponents to your will, and that there's no such thing as too much power. Dealing with demons with no regard of the price to pay and just being so evil, I can relate to her player type. Just makes me proud to be on the dark side.

So I rewrote the script for Chapter 1 and...well fuck, it's worlds different now. I need to step back and debate how to go about this, but either way I deeefinitely needed to make a quick image to take notice of some kind of overhaul.

Ame and Lutz are here to help with that! Yes those blocks are Minecraft inspired, I loves me some Minecraft.

Hopefully people aren't too mad about this development, but the setup for everything REALLY needs some help. I became a bookworm a couple years after I started Heartcore (I read roughly 20 books a year - the latest two being NOS4A2 and The Eyes of the Dragon, I heartily recommend both!) and I like to think I learned a thing or two. MAYBE yes. At the very least, fix a lot of the pacing/transition issues.

I bought a bunch of Ivy at a gardening shop, and cut each leaf off, then hand sewed them all on to a cover made to fit over my Stocking Bunny Suit. This took a ridiculous amount of time because I wanted the leaves to actually look like they had some rhyme & reason to them rather than just haphazardly slapping them on to cover as much square space as possible. I also wanted to sew them rather than glue them because it would be more secure and I didn't want to risk damaging the bunny suit underneath it.Okay so. There's this one episode of Batman: The animated series in which batman is out of town and only Robin's around. There's a bunch of weird plant monster's tearing the place up, so obviously it's gotta be Ivy's doing! He hunts her down and WHOA WHAT she's married to some dude living happily with him and his two kids! She's just like, seriously robin fuck off this is my life now I'm happy go away. He kinda does but still suspects her. Turns out she's created a plant that over the course of a week turns from her youngest son, to her eldest son, to her husband, to a giant plant monster that goes rampaging across Gotham. Robin puts a stop to all that blah blah blah, but at the end of the episode she escapes and is on a bus looking sadly at a picture of her family AND NO NO NOTHING IS WRONG THERE'S JUST SOMETHING IN MY EYE

I LOVE IVY A LOT OKAY.

Art Trade - Ares

My share of the trade with
I was given some choices so i went with the Greek god, Ares.

Sure, this isn't what you would expect when you think of Ares but i design it off the top of my head with what i know.

Ares requires a sacrifice before a battle, he is associated with the ram and dog(i think), he is the god of war so there'll be a good amount of unadulterated violence. So that explains the red skin for blood, the horns and those gauntlets. Since Ares is skilled in combat, having extra eyes to allow him to look from the back is a great addition.

This isn't as 'neat' as i usually do but i had fun with it not caring too much about tidiness.
Remember, trades and requests or anything similar is an act of kindness.

Since she's more compact and has less long thin parts she should be a lot more durable during printing and shipping but please keep in mind that it's still Sandstone which can break if handled too rough.

As Buzz's final moment came before him, he glared into the black abyss, only capturing one last one thing: a promise he made his son:

"I will always protect and watch over you. To infinity and beyond."

Buzz was an all American hero. He worked for the Star Command Army and had been recently promoted to Staff Sgt, leading the young and brave through interstellar wars against the evil alien terrorist, Zurg.

While deep in space, Buzz's ship was pulled into a worm-hole caused by his arch-nemesis Commander Zurg. Buzz tried everything in his power to turn his ship around, but to no avail. At this point, Buzz and his crew only had one option: abandon ship.

As the ship took more damage, the rescue pods began to deplete. Buzz allowed each member to escape as he tried to give them every last minute--until finally, it was too late.

Buzz, and his cruiser, were pulled into the worm-hole, and was never seen or heard from again. Buzz was announced dead by Star Command and the world mourned for the hero that saved over two hundred lives that day. He would leave behind his beloved wife, daughter and son.

However, Buzz did not die that day. He awoke to find himself still trapped into his own ship. All in tact, and still in his suit, he tried to escape but realized he was imprisoned, bound by wires.

This would be the first day of Buzz's new life, cast away into another dimension from Zurg's worm-hole, Buzz was no longer the human he once thought he was.

For now Buzz was wrapped away as an action figure, and on his way to a birthday party for a young boy named Andy.

Buzz's very own son.

Remember the redo of the first page? Yeah, it never was stopping there. I've been wanting to redo chapter 1 for a LOOOONG time due to the lack of worldbuilding/pacing/ancient artwork. Here's page 2!

Some events WILL be modified, as I've done a lot of reading and learning the last couple years. There's definitely some spots that need to go. And there's definitely spots that need help.

An Animasa edit I've been working on the last couple of days, just for killing some time I guess X)

What I've done so far:
* Added Groove Bone
* Added texures & .spa files
* Remodeled hip, clothes, bangs & face
* Made high heels to her shoes (although it's not visible in picture)
* Changed format to PMX

What I might do (if I don't feel too lazy):
* Add more expressions
* Fix a second upper body bone (Although I tried that before, but I screwed up when I was suppsed to weight it...)
* Edit hair physics

What do you think so far? Any suggestions?

Yay, finished this piece. I think I'm finally starting to understand how reflection lighting works.

Too bad Skullgirls didn't pull through over SSBM, but it was still pretty awesome, and with the PC port confirmed to be released fairly soon it's gonna get even better.
