Humongous Homestuck Hootenanny

Well I had originally intended to have something done for Homestuck's second anniversary, but better late than never, I suppose! I've been working on this off and on for the past two weeks, starting on 12" by 17" bristol board for pencils and inks and eventually scanning it to tweak and color in Photoshop--let me just say I never ever want to color the Felt again, they hurt my eyes SO BAD.

The original plan was to try and include pretty much everyone from the cast, but as I blocked it out it became increasingly problematic and I had to pare it down . It's a shame too, but I really wanted to put the lusii in somewhere, but eh, what're you gonna do? Maybe if I'm crazy enough I'll try a full cast picture when Homestuck is over with.

Anyways, I've wanted to do a big Homestuck pic for a while, and hopefully you all will enjoy it as much as I did working on it!

OOUUFF!! Been on a hiatus for eons with the commissioned pieces which are included to your D&S comic orders due to my theory work for my finals - i´m endless sorry!!! but i hope i get it shipped to you before Xmas! the first 10 pieces have left this last saturday and will arrive soon at their owners places.

A while ago i did these interior inside spreads for groundbreaking non profit organization perps over at Popgun. Tried to make a contrast program so when you open the book you might immediately forget about the this time bland cover of volume 4 [link] good blamey!
The statues reassemble some of the characters in the book - for example we have the guy from and many else plus my two lads in the car & Conquisdatore Spider!

Book release is Feb 10th 2010.

So I got GH like...a week ago and I'm super duper pleased with it. I love everything about it, but the most is having a typhlosion again. Because I love him. Anyways, I doodled this a week ago and finally finished it now, I thought it was neat I could think of azn past times/work and it fit all the starters.

Chikorita line with flower arrangement and bonsai trees
Cyndaquil line laying under those heated table things, plus the hakama looks quite dashing on them
Totodile line with the fishing and or selling fish in market. Tho i'm sure totodile would just bite everything. OMNOMNOM.

I'm sure i probably drew the clothes kinda wrong, buuuttt I don't care.

This is my homage to my fellow Norwegian Edvard Munch (his Scream of course) and the absolutely hilarious looking Rayman Raving Rabbids.

I had this idea shortly after completing my iD, but as with most of my great ideas that pop into my head just before I go to sleep, it slipped away in the night and only came back to me this morning!

Quite incidently too. I heard the word "scream" on the radio and the idea rushed itself back into my head!

Okay. Artwise, I'm very happy with it. I had planned on keeping it simpler so I finished the bunny first, but when I started doing the background I put too much detail in and I had to change the bunny a little bit.

I think it suits him perfectly.

It takes so much time to produce something so short.

Anyhow, this is a one minute animation about the interaction between a woman (whom I name Nelly) and a fly. The sequences are synchronized to "Ichijya Tetai" (One Hour Evacuation), a track from the One Piece OST (more details on bottom). I started this at the end of Summer '05, intending to finish it within 2 weeks.

It's been roughly half a year.

I haven't spent all that time working on it, of course. Most of the time it was just sitting on my harddrive, being defragmented. But I've finally gathered the courage to tackle this 60-second beast and finish the slaughter. If I had worked on this continuously, I estimate it would have taken about...3 weeks. If I were on vacation during that whole time, and had no games to play or anime to watch.

Well, enjoy! I'll submit this to Newgrounds tomorrow or something.

Big O, Roger, Dorothy

I tried a couple new things for this picture. Mainly to do an urban environment but instead of going nuts over details I tried to do the whole "make it look like there are details without adding details" thing, I used a couple mullins references to try and figure out which details are more important than others. 2nd I wanted to try creating a texture layer for big o, so this is essentially 2 layers, the bottom layer is a texture mess and is nothing byitself, the top layer is everything else but with the sillouette of Big O erased out (then adding minimal shading so its not just a giant shadow).

Holy crap an actual piece of art. I beat Shadow of the Colossus a couple days ago (5 hours, 39 minutes for my first run through). Its such a great game.
Anyways, this idea ran through my head about what one of the possible reasons that a buffoon with a sword, which he barely knows how to use, would
go piss off giant monsters one after another.

I swear ladies, guys WILL go to great lengths for it. XD

I inked the lineart with copic multiliners, and all the painting with ~Grinning-Onii's awesome 6x8 wacom tablet *he sure isn't using it, so its mine till he takes it back > *

"I need TEEPEE for my Star Wars!!"

It was the day before my birthday, and I wanted to do something for MYSELF for a change... so I spent most of the day doing this. YES, it took me a VERY long time to do it... Very shameful.

MY ROOMIE JASON CAME UP WITH THIS IDEA!! We were joking about Star Wars, and he just said, "Grievous & Butthead." I remembered it today after seeing some grievous fanart... so I drew it.

I actually liked the movie... but that's another story.

Oddly enough, the HARDEST part of this was drawing Butthead's damn head... Grievous didn't come out the best he could, but I don't care, cuz I mean.. well... look what kinda comic this is.

All the shit at the top was random crap I found on Google that I cut and edited into the pic. I also gave my tribute to "EP3: A Lost Hope" on Grievous' shirt.

Oh, and the couch background is actually a cut from the Beavis and Butthead background.

Heh! Like my title? Soo clever, right? Nyeh. Anyway, I suppose this is an art trade with ; it started out as "hey, can you do a doodle of my characters and you, chibi?" and then I liked the result and decided to colour it ... I believe he's colouring his pic for me too (SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW POKE! hahaha) ...

anyway. Ginger the mouse, Nikki the cat, me, and my cat Marron. She was the hardest to colour ... so many different shades of brown, and of course she was nowhere to be found when I wanted to see how her markings were .........

Something i've been working on for the class I'm taking. I just finished penciling the first page, and here's a rather crappy scan and re-assembly (since it's done on blueline pro comic paper, and is laaarge)

I stuck in the dialogue, just so people aren't TOO confused.

I think next time, i'm probably just going to wait till it's all finished and inked to upload it all... but i was impatient this time, and felt like i should put something up.

Animal crossing is a fun game, it consumes you with cuteness and odd quotes. As the picture clearly shows, I hate Yuka, one of the cute cuddly townspeople that moves into your town. Yuka was always a....disagreeable little girl, and thus I felt the need to express my hatred, which involved impounding her to her doorstep with postboards. Apparently from the expression on her face, the feeling is mutual.
