Okay when I first started watching Inuyasha I fell in love with Sesshomaru. Loooooove him. Didn't care that he was a bad dude. He's hot, nearly silent, and utterly terrifying. Couldn't ask for anything better!

But then he meets Rin, and I knew something glorious had occured. I don't care that it's weird to think about, I tottally ship Sesshy and Rin! Not as a little girl, OH NO, that's just icky, but what about when Rin grows up? Sesshy already loves her so much, she's considered his weakness!
So what would happen when she gets older? Would that love grow into something diffrent? I like to think it would.

But as long as she is a darling little girl, getting into danger and needing his rescue, I like to refer fondly to Sesshomaru as "Papa Sesshy."

The advanced/prestigious/experienced version of Dark Queen Guinevere for Applibot's Legend of the Cryptids game.
I really had a ball doing the costuming for this one - particularly the helmet - as well as being able to employ a little more "sauce" in the ladies' outfits.
I was going to go over the top with the queen's regalia but decided that a vampire queen would probably rely more on force of personality and less on flash and flesh to exact her will.

Hey all! It's been nearly 4 months since the end of Freakangels, and there's been a strange hole in life every Friday when a new episode used to go up. It's taken a lot of adjustment for me to get used to, but I've been working as fast as I can on a new project!

Today, it's past noon on a Friday and I thought this would be an appropriate time to go live with a new project, The Firelight Isle! This is a promo poster for that very project, starring the two main characters, and one mystery character!

The Firelight Isle is going to be a web-and-print comic like Freakangels, but doesn't yet have the awesome backing of a publisher that allowed me to churn out 6 pages of Freakangels a week! So, I'm going to be working on it one day a week, rain or shine, money or none, and hopefully will have an update each week with my progress. There's much more info available on TheFirelightIsle.com, so please check it out You can also follow along on twitter and facebook, and I'll be putting updates on The Firelight Isle Development Blog until the comic itself is ready to go live. There are already a few entries up with artwork and some details on research!

The last thing to say is that whilst I'm happy to finish this no matter what it takes, it's a big enough project that it will take decades at my current pace. If you like the look of the project, you can back it on IndieGoGo, where I've got a crowd funding campaign, and there are other funding ideas on the website. If anyone has any further ideas, or wants to help out the project in a way I hadn't imagined, please let me know

A good bunch of all existing dog breeds wouldn't be able to survive without man thanks to all their anomalies and genetic disorders as a result from incest for the sake of "pure breeding" (heck, some of those (like the English Bulldog) aren't even able to reproduce or give birth to their litters without help anymore. The thought alone is just disgraceful.)

Inspired by a pug that came across my way some time ago. It was rattling like crazy, a pity to look at. The owner's reaction? "OMG, Willy, usocute!"

God, why do they have to produce even more complete overbred cripples. I can't stand most dog breeds (or dogs in general) and seeing how batshit crazy people went with dog breeding doesn't make it any better (and WHY do you even have to continue this bullshit with cats, too? At first we only had these ugly persians and hideous hairless sphynx cats, now there are those so called munchkins and kangaroo cats. Just...don't. We fucked up the dogs and gold fishes already. And as always, it is the animals who suffer. For what. For "beauty"?)

If you happen to own a breed on the list above, please don't feel offended by that. I know that this could be a very delicate topic and i respect your opinions whatever these may be. Same goes for my opinions, though. And these would be: Health first. Then character. And THEN you can think of outer appearance (also: No. I'm not lumping all breeders of the world together here. There is more than black and white. Fact is, though, that some actually went way too far with pure breeding and standards as so many pitiful canine individuals show everyday.)

Speaking of the German Sherpherd:
The critter satirised here is the showdog version with that total overbred slanting butt/back. The working dog versions at least do have some normal anatomy...

Dog breeds had a purpose at one point in time and i'm totally fine with that. It's the show dogs i despise and where everything went overboard.

Personality: Ellie is a bit more tomboyish than most of the girls around Skyloft. Though she doesn't mind getting dressed up when the occasion calls for it, she'd much rather be comfortable. She doesn't mind getting dirty, and plays the occasional prank. She's the island bully, and often times people believe she's far too cold or has no heart at all. Ellie is also incredibly cocky. In her mind, anything you can do, she can do better, and if you can't do it, she'll show you that she can. If it turns out she can't do it, she'll tell you she's just having an off day.

Any time she opens her mouth, you can usually expect a rude comment in reply to whatever you've done or said. She doesn't go around picking fights as much as she used to, but she still doesn't hesitate to throw a punch when she thinks it's appropriate.

Brief Bio: Ellie was born and raised in Skyloft. She lives with her father on the outer edge of the island. She has never met her mother, that she can recall. When Ellie was very young still, the woman left for the surface and never came back up. It's unknown if she's still alive, and the people of Skyloft created a gravestone for her. Bot of her parents attended the Knight Academy. Her mother graduated to become a full-fledged knight, and was quite a few years older than her father. When it was found that she was pregnant with Ellie, Papa dropped out of the academy and started working in the Bazaar, eventually taking over the Scrap Shop. Ellie acts like she doesn't care too much about the mother she's never met, but she will sometimes bring flowers to her grave, and sleeps with her hand-me-down sailcloth as a blanket.

Ellie likes collecting random junk. A great way to get on her good side is to give her some useless trinket or junk item. Her necklace is an amber relic she found, and she made a beaded necklace for her Loftwing made out of monster claws and and ornamental skulls, things she collected from sneaking out at night and practicing her slingshot on the monsters. She has amazing aim with her slingshot, and very rarely misses. She now uses a bow, which she is getting better at using and finding more fun to use than her slingshot.

Fun Facts!
-Ellie cares more than people think she does. She isn't sure how to portray her emotions properly, so they end up all filtering back to anger and frustration.
-She is EXTREMELY over-protective of Eeva and Leenan.
-Much to her dismay, Prion is the one who taught her how to use a bow.
-If she doesn't say something that's actually rude, it will probably come across in her tone.
-She is incredibly bad at remembering people's names. She doesn't call people names to be mean (most of the time), she just legitimately has no idea what your name is.
-Her new, fourth stud piercing was done by Avani, as the earrings were made and gifted to her by Avani.
-She's incredibly far sighted. She refuses to wear glasses to class because they make her look less badass. She scowls at her books during class because she can't read the words, and does all her schoolwork by herself in her room.
-Ellie is a severe daddy's girl, despite being tomboyish. She absolutely hates when people find him attractive, and hates it even more when someone actually hits on him.
