I forgot to add this one until today.

This was the first tattoo that I did to myself. The Sailor Moon was my second, but this one was from start to finish. This was so hard to do
This one I had to lean over a lot farther, it was much harder to stretch the skin, and I was teaching myself how to adjust my machine speed.

I learned a lot through this one tattoo...Now I have no remorse for putting anyone in pain, because I have done it to myself TWICE. There may be a third coming up soon.

This took about 2hrs.

Here is my Sailor Moon, fully healed, and much clearer!

So anyways, I did this to myself! I waited 6months to have someone else do it, no one wanted to so I did it!

Everything that is supposed to be white just has a simple blue wash. That means that when it heals the blue will be a little lighter than when I actually did it.

This took me 3 painful hours. I had to strain one leg for the foot pedal, strain the other leg and had to bend over just to do it...My whole body ached afterwards

Revised Tatooo Idea

This is my revised tattoo idea. I know it's kind of sketchy and rough (with no color) but I did this at work today and I wanted to share. :3 This would hypothetically go on my upper back.

Originally the wings were meant to be teal but I think I might go with white. Or maybe teal. The moon would likely be gold and the hanging feathers would be white, tipped with yellow, red, white (black feather), and black (not necessarily in that order). I'd have to mess around with the sun symbol color.

- The moon is me/Sailor Moon/the MOON (I like the moon!)
- The wings are a combination of my father's "symbol" and my mother's wings (because she's an angel).
- The feathers are tied into the native heritage and my dad's love of the culture
- The sun symbol is unity, life cycle, mother, etc. I might mess around with that part a bit more.

I love the second set of wings; I think it really balances it out.
Please don't like... use this as your own tattoo because that would be mad weird.

So a couple of months ago, I posted just the line work of this tattoo, so here is the completed product!

It took around 4 hours for the color.

I absolutely love how it came out, and am very happy. I may at some point go back and have him put a little white over parts of the legs, boots, and gloves, cuz they came out a little darker than I wanted, but it should be no biggie.

Let me know what you guys think of it finished!!

Just to be clear...this brooch was designed by me, based on the Cosmic brooch from Sailor Moon, which is slightly different. I made mine more angular than circular. If you are getting a brooch tattoo please do not use this exact design, as this is my art I drew up. If you want a brooch, draw one up yourself, or ask your tattoo artist to design one for you based on SM, or have a friend do it. Be creative, as tattoos will be on you forever.

Tattoo I got on my 20th birthday. Piece is of the Time Key Chibiusa receives in the manga version of Sailor Moon. She uses this key to time travel from the future to the past and present. It's one of my favorite pieces from the series and I thought it would be normal enough as just a key, and subtle because of the placement and flow of the design that to someone who doesn't recognize what it is, will just think it's a key, but to those that are familiar with the series, or cares to inquire will have found out it's true meaning.

Here is my second tattoo. I got it 5 years after the first. Sailor Venus is my favorite sailor. Sailor Moon is something that means a lot to me and I wanted to have it always. I chose a manga pic of her as a chibi super sailor. The tattoo artist forgot her tiara, colored her hair and skirt wrong and her eye is funky. I'll fix it someday!
