Honeybee! The drawing was commissioned as a tattoo a while back, finally finished coloring it up. Please respect my client who paid for this, and do not use it as a tattoo yourself!

I just read that honeybees do something called a tremble dance. How cute is that?

I loved catching frogs when I was a kid. Though I woulda been the happiest little girl on earth if I'd ever caught a frog that big. We had enough trouble with the regular adult bullfrogs; Just couldn't sneak up on those guys! But that's probably how they were able to get so big in the first place c:

This is a brief two page narrative for my department's "Meanwhile" comic. I have never done a sequential piece before, so I am proud that I pulled something off. It's mainly thoughts on the hunter and the hunted and relationships, exploring character design/interaction. I am not sure if I will do more things like this in the future, but I hope you like it! Imagine shopping in the sky for wild flowers. One of the pieces from my Shopping Carts series.

This was my idea:

Concept art for a simulation game where the players choose one cart from 10 unique shopping carts. Players from around the world will have the chance to shop virtually for whatever they want, in a completely whole new experience and in a variety of ways.

Will update more pieces from this series.

I forgot to say that I finished the original Kid Icarus game!

At first I thought the game is too difficult to play, and feel like I will make Pit trapped in Underworld forever XD I made him "finished" at least hundred times over I think. But then with the game goes through, I get used to his moves and found the game is super fun to play. The map searching, guess where your enemies will go and shoot... I think that's the most interesting things about the old retro games. It won't tell you how to play or what to do, you have to figure it out yourself. That's really great and lots of fun.

So at my first time to beat the game, I didn't know that you can increase the strength of Pit's arrow! So I beat the game with lowest arrow power.

Now I can beat the game easily... okay, that's not true, I still made Pit "finished" a lot XD But at least he won't get trapped in Underworld forever and is able to go home!

And today is the 26th anniversary of the original Kid Icarus game. Happy birthday Pit! He seems much younger than his actual age. Oh gosh he is older than me...

Here's what I worked on for most of October/November - animation sequences for Bearkatt Productions, who made a Channel 4 (U.K) documentary about Tanya Kach's life (warning: the documentary deals with very shocking subject matter). 14-year-old Tanya Kach was held captive by an older man, phsyically as well as emotionally, for 10 years of her life - a truly heartbreaking story. The animations were intended to illustrate her emotions when she met her captor at a young age. She rationalized the situation by believing that she was in love and had found someone to take care of her for the rest of her life, something she longed for as a result of not feeling loved or wanted anywhere else. Of course, this was far from the truth.

The animation sequences are basically romantic fairy tale scenes with a 'dark' edge, showing a princess falling in love with her prince. They were edited into the interviews that were conducted with Tanya. What you see above is some artwork which was integrated into the final sequences, to which my awesome boyfriend Arjen Klaverstijn contributed animation and effects.

Back in November the Sunday New York Times featured an article about stress in the work place and how those at the top seem to be missing out on all the fun. The higher up in the company you are, no matter how much work you have to do, youre still chillin.

I gave my take for the Sunday Review, locking all the office workers in an office shaped like a Bug Out Bill stress toy. While the boss strolls out whistlin.
