This looks really terrible as a thumbnail.

Theres probably a clause somewhere in the Mausoleum's contract that says, "We are not responsible for what happens to you if you upset Guildsman Dinah." After the whole thing w/ Maphohetka, it was needed.

I felt like it would have wrong had she not been wearing a ship on her head. It's Dinah, she's a guildsman, she can wear whatever she feels like, provided it's not the color red. Plus it was a minor trend during france's rococo era to wear ship hats to celebrate france's victories at sea. Yes, that is really her hair making up the net and capturing the disorderly criads. Theres some imagery in here that doesn't make sense to anyone who hasn't read the books. Sorry. Those mermaids are the criads, who are not mermaids, and they totally killed a bunch of people and kidnapped Dinah so you shouldn't feel bad for them.

This is Dinah, of the Bizenghast series. I am such a fan of it, even thought it may seem childish and stuff...but it's so awesome! Sadly, it's difficult to get it here...and it only a little of the second volume online...gah.

This is basicly a rip-off from the ending page of the 1st book ( which I managed to buy at a Popular Super Sale XD) but a SANO-FIED RIP-OFF. There's a difference XDD

This was painted for a friend. She wanted a redheaded mermaid with a green tail and green shells. I kind of like how it turned out.

Done with watercolors on 140 lb Strathmore coldpress watercolor paper and lined with a .03 Micron pen.

Trying to find the right makeup style for Peter. Not sure if I want to get brown contacts or not. I don't want my irises enlarged like a doll. They're olive-ish hazel naturally, so might look good with the outfit.

I'm kind of on the short side and pretty slender, so am able to pull off the young look well enough. Thinking of being Terence from Pixie Hollow later on as well.

Meet the Gluttobunny.

Initially, I painted that piece for the facebook game Chronicles of Blood (check it out on facebook or kongre gate).
A fat, flesh eating thing, sitting in a castle, waiting for its victims. 2 weeks after the painting was finished I had a fresh look at it and I was kinda shocked about myself; the design was dull and was not fitting at all to the detailed backplate painting at all.
So I started overpainting the whole thing, gave him a bunny face and chicken wings, changing the scene to a swamp (which is really just some gradients). At least, I`m more happy with the result than before...

Everybody should like bunnies...
What do you think?

Anywho, last weekend was Katsucon, which is by far my favorite of the conventions I've been to! It was wonderful to see my friends again, and I made a lot of new ones too! I had such a great time!

I only made one new costume this year, Kobato's dress from the "Illustration and Memories" artbook cover. Last year I didn't make any new Kobato costumes, so it was really nice to cosplay her again with such a pretty design! But the best part of all was that my friend ~kiwikiwi-black joined me this time as Kohaku from Wish! I love the friendship these two have ;__;

Come with me, back to heady days of the summer of 1983 when a much younger Ruthie was baking 'free from a cereal packet' shrinkles in the gas oven with help from my Mother, the obligatory adult in these sort of craft situations. I loved my slightly wobbly Shreddies keyrings, now lost in the mists of time.

Fast forward to present day where Ruthie now creates hand-drawn & super cute charms, none of which have anything to do with cereal, from the aforementioned Shrinkles. The technology has moved on somewhat, I no longer rely on kitchen appliances to cook them, but they're just as much fun to make!

These days, the city of Ankh-Morpork attracts all walks of life, death & undead. Vampires have adapted fairly well to (un)life outside of Uberwald, tolerated by other species as now they don't bite (as often). The Black Ribbon denotes the reformed vampire, attending regular temperance meetings for a sing-song, cup of tea & a bun...& no mention of the B-vord!

These black ribbon earrings have a traditional stud & butterfly fastening & tied bows in black satin ribbon. Dangling from these are the symbol of the league with the motto 'Live not in vein'.

Like all of my work, they arrive in a presentation organza bag.

As I create the charms from scratch I can create them in any colourway or style so I am open to custom orders. The same design charms can also be made into bracelets, necklaces, phone charms etc.
