I have been real busy lately doing concept designs for contracted projects and I wanted to paint something fun on my own for DA... so here you have it! A fantasy style town built around a maze of creeks and rivers. I tried to go for a welcoming color and lighting for this one. No photo plates anywhere, just painting with standard brushes. Yet another Bioshock Infinite Poster! Let me know in the comments if you'd be interested in prints. Again, I unfortunately cannot distribute these without permission from Irrational Games, but it'd still be good to know if anyone would actually be willing to buy one as a framed poster since I contacted them about posters before.

This time around with the heavy hitters and what not. This mainly happened due to so many people upset that Daisy Fitzroy was not in the first poster, so here goes.

A bit about the piece:

THIS TOOK SO LONG HOLY FFFFFFFFFFF. My right hand hates me. Worked on it for a week a few hours a day. Usually I give up on such challenging projects like this one but I'm glad I didn't. THANK THE LAWD FOR HAND REFERENCES. Hopefully you guys will like it and it will all pay off haha.

I had barely any reference for a lot of these characters so I went ahead and did my own thing, hence why some things are probably extremely inaccurate! Sorry about that. :c

Now to finally work on commissions!

I'll be posting this on tumblr and maybe tweet it to Irrational Games, if you guys dig it feel free to share it around as well, as long as I'm credited with a link to my page it's all good.

Just a poster made from all my previous sketches. I was originally going to fully shade it but I decided to go for a simple flat-colors look to match the layout better. I might do a fully shaded version in due time, however. But yes, this is my ''actual'' tribute to BioShock Infinite. Hope you like.

Note: (Elizabeth's hair is light to contrast with Songbird's colors behind her. It simply looked loads better than giving her darker hair)

This took me a really long time to draw... I thought I'd never get it done!

This is a 'companion' piece to my drawing of Darth Vader meeting an Alien queen. Perhaps this battle is what happened on board Vader's Star Destroyer immediately before he turned up to restore order!?

I wanted this piece to look claustrophobic and chaotic - to give a sense of the mayhem that's taking place - without resorting to drawing blood and guts everywhere! So I only depicted the characters in the picture... no background... no scenery.

I didn't want this to be one of those pieces where the center of the page is full detail while the edges are blurry or lacking in detail. There's nothing wrong with that approach - in fact it's the 'right' way to compose a piece that directs the viewer's eye. But for this one - I just wanted the page to be full - so that wherever you look - there's something happening.

My other Star Wars / Alien mash-up featured Darth Maul - so now I have a trilogy! I think that after all the time and effort this one took - it will probably be my last! (At least for a while.)

This is an original depiction of George Lucas's/Disney's and HR Giger's copyright characters. Drawn freehand in Photoshop using a Wacom pad - this is a low res version.

Nonplayer 1 Final Spread

All of the pages for Nonplayer are drawn directly in Photoshop CS3 using a Cintiq tablet monitor. For line work I use default brush settings at 100% hardness.

For coloring, I use the popular Multifill and Flatten plugins ([link]) to build selectable areas of color, and then I add new layers of color at different blend modes and opacities (this is a pretty random, haphazard, and slow process).
