translates to: "whats up with No homo ?! (O RLY)
Flyer for a public debate about how the hip hop scene deals with gay people. How it's a pretty masculine (anti-gay even sometimes) scene, while on the other hand guys like 50 cent are portrayed all naked and oiled up on the front of their albums.

please note that I personally have no problem what so ever with gay people. You gotta do what you gotta do.


2. Wax and the City 2008
what's there to say? annual Turntable competition/showcase party. Don't know what turntablism is?

ITS DONE!!! and due to my clever alteration to the close-up i submitted a while ago this is probably a bit different from what you were expecting

ive had this idea in my head for months but finally decided to get it out onto the digital canvas, feels nice to finally see it all finished.
I love painting water due to the fact that i can just make it all up without having to think too much about it, theres no awkard angles and lighting is pretty straight forward once you get the hang of it all
Apart from the 2 hands (which were referenced from my own) the rest of the image is all painted from scratch with no refs.

on a side note i was also interviewed by spinegrinder about my work and other such things so check that out here [link]

Done using both Painter 9 and Photoshop 7, roughly 60+ hours

First - and I hope not the last! - collaborative effort between and (check his page and give MUCH love to him.)
Riot-Designer: concept, murales, postwork
Me: concept, 3D, composition & postwork

The concept for this artwork, even if our intention was not to give it a religous background, comes from the tale of robins in the christian culture.

The tale tells the episode of a little bird which stained with his blood pricking with the christ's thorned-crown.
We meant to link this symbol to a current theme like the War. The robin tale, in our opinion, seems to point at the Man's failure; at the Man that kills and slurs the Good, the Love, the Peace. The robin is exactly the product of War and Fear that we've been victimizing and criminalizing on the television screens, and which seems like the human kind don't wanna end.

Besides of that, we leave free the piece in front of your own interpretation. Meanings or not, it surely contains all our passion. We really enjoyed ourselves realizing this piece.

Well, good question, FONTAIN is a FOUNDRY... for FONTS and fonts are fundamental for design, so here we are trying to bring to you new fonts that will help you accomplish a great design.


How does it operate?

FONTAIN FONT FOUNDRY will not only create new fonts but it will also HOST fonts created, helped to be completed, by other new designers. If there is something as hard as font design then i think that would be... i dont know... building a house with a knife?! So thats where FONTAIN comes in. Many new designers have designed fonts and either they dont know how to build a solid font file or they have a stunning idea on paper and they cannot cope with bezier (pen tool) to finilize it, or even they might have some kerning problems that they want to solve!


Where will be the fonts hosted?

The fonts will be hosted at my portfolio, they will be available for download or only for viewing (according to what the original provider, or what we altoghether, decide)
The font name will be the original or anyhow the one given by the original designer. Inside my Portfolio there will be a special spot for FONTAIN, there we will have information about the designer of the font and linkage to his portfolio. The name of the original designer will be accompanied by the name of the FONTAIN FONT FOUNDRY designer(s) who helped finalizing the font.
