Darth Maul painting/sketch! I've been asked about process and stuff.... i know im horrible for this process stuff! mainly because i do a lot of it all on one layer.. i guess i should live stream one day or something but i'd probably be too nervous and screw it up lolol anyways, So i decided to keep this painting really rough and not polish it up kinda like my wonder woman cuz theyre faster to do and it helps those who wanna discover my process for doing stuff. basically i started with a rough grey V shaped opaque silhouette. Then i kinda just flesh things out as i paint, starting from the big to smaller shapes. I keep it fairly loose at all times so it makes the picture subject to change at any given time during the process! i like to keep my options open about where the painting is heading. Hope that helps ?? :s

finally ending the semester! no more projects, essays and socvjbnvbsaklb for a little while till next semester starts all over again .... goin home for the holidays so i doubt imma get any work done cuz of my crappy laptop. So happy holidays everyoneeeeeeeeeee and party hard

I was unhappy with the way this guy looked in the base I sculpted him into, so I rehashed it into this bust. I was really inspired by Kevin Crossleys work here.

I only have maybe an hour or 2 to smooth out the flames on his head/up his neck. Very soon I'll have a update of this finished with paint.

I still need to create a base for it.

Still in the works, about to remove him from temporary base into his sculpted base (this will be a diorama of him busting through a fire swirled cavern with chunks of rock, soot and ash everywhere). He will plug into the base at his waist and 2 hands (they will also be sculpted to the base). He'll have both hands gripping rock climbing through. Just have to make 1 final adjust. on his right arm, and more flamework to finish...I will sculpt a few tiny demons coming through the ruins along with him

It's hard to describe a creature as lovely as the Pearl Dragon. Pearl Dragons are medium to small creatures who live in the lush foliage around bodies of water. They spend most of their time on land, but are capable swimmers. Their bodies naturally create pearls which harden over time to form their stunning, unique scales.

Pearl dragons have been known to decorate their own hides by attaching found objects such as wire, gems, and small stones to themselves. Over time, the objects are covered in their pearl coating and incorporated into their scales.

This particular dragon is a subspecies of the pearl dragon family. These furred pearl dragons live in the colder climates of the far north and high in the mountains. Like their more aquatic ancestors, they still grow characteristic pearl scales, but only on their extremities. The rest of their body is covered in long, thick fur. It is assumed this fur is produced in much the same manner as their pearls, but this sub-species is so rare it has yet to be confirmed.

One odd behavior of the pearl dragon is the act of creating accessories from their own shed scales. It is believed this behavior beautifies the dragon and helps attract mates, but again, this has not been proven.

Oh my gosh, I can't even... zomg. This doll was so difficult on many levels. I looked at a lot of tutorials. And did a lot of "winging it" and hoping for the best. It turned out both better and worse than I expected.

I expected it to fall apart and fail so that was a plus.

But it's also nothing like how I pictured it would look when I started out. It's almost like it sort of gained a life of its own while I was working. And because it's my art, I can find a lot of flaws in it.

I did learn a lot of valuable things.

- Duct tape well melt in the oven. But not horribly.
- You can cover clay in eye shadow and then bake it to make it shimmery and pretty.
- Xacto knives are amazing for cutting fur. Scissors are NOT.
- Trimming hair (or fake fur) is not as easy as it looks.
- Real white feathers, not actually that white.

I'm also really enjoying my "pearl dragon" species and my obsession will probably last at least until I use up this tube of pearl paint. I'm planning on making pearl snake dragons. Basically a snake body with a dragon head designed to wrap around the wrist, bed post, bottle of vodka sitting on your shelf, whatever. These would be smaller and more affordable and I could just sculpt heads all day which is my favorite part of any sculpture.

hi there, this is a dragon i got comissioned to do for a client of mine.

it is the biggest piece i have ever sculpted and had the fun and awesome time (total sarcasm lol) to mold and cast.

the piece stands at 3 foot 4 inches tall.

at this stage the wing flaps are not completed yet, these are just stand in/tests.

will post some of the WIPS of this guy in a while.

my fb hit 10k likes last month and I asked everyone what they wanted to see in celebration, and a tutorial was one of the popular choices! So I painted this freshly and recorded the entire process. I will organize it once I have the time and make a video/pictorial tutorial out of it! In the meantime pls bathe in sexual tension

a lot of ppl asked for large resolution pics too for celebration, but I couldn't think of a way to distribute these without risking some asshole taking it and selling it. In the end I decided it's just one drawing, I can shoulder some damage to give my followers something they want, so here it is available for download! click on the download button to save a large version of this piece I know this request will fall on the wrong ears but please DO NOT repost the full version for download anywhere else or sell this image in anyway shape or form, tangible or intangible (please report any abuse and violators to me!) It was supposed to be an easy assignment: take a squad of recruits out to the ruins of Tarsonis, make camp at the abandoned Ghost Academy, and play war games for a few weeks to prep the recruits for combat. With Kerrigan out of the picture, the zerg are just mindless animals, hardly a threat to Dominion marines... right? As Meatbag Squadron is about to find out, even the supposedly most harmless zerg can be a terrifying enemy.

On my try to remake my previous work of VWCanis Mayoris suddenly tured out into another scene, so I thought it could be nice to make something diferent. I began airbrushing the flares of the sun and realized it was verry similar to a Sunshine scene so the result was predictable
