Taking it to the next level.

I used a tutorial from an Old 'Essential Photoshop Skills' Mag by Justin Maller to create the Abstract 3D Elements in Cinema 4D. Check him out, the Man's a fucking legend [link]

The idea here is a representation of aggressor vs. target in any conflict. Blind anger, rage and aggression vs that sickening feeling of inevitability when you know something bad is about to happen imminently.

Let me know what you think/how i can improve it/what doesn't work for you. I'd especially appreciate any feedback from any 3D artists out there.

This is a few hours work in Photoshop and Cinema. The original Photo is an old one I took ages ago in the National Carrilian on Lake Burley Griffin in Canberra. I spent more time heavily retouching it - it was taken with a poorer camera and minus my current skills, but the shot was so good I couldn't resist.

A wallpaper i've been working on. I have always been trying to find a decent dual-screen/widescreen wallpaper, so, I ended up just making my own.

Available resolutions:

2560x1600

Dual-screen resolutions:

5120x1600
3360x1050
2880x900
2560x800

Setting different wallpapers for each monitor:
You can set both monitors to use separate images in Windows by combining the two halves into one giant image (both monitor resolutions combined), and then setting the wallpaper to "Tile" in the Desktop Properties options.This tiles and spills over onto the other monitor. No extra tools/programs are needed.

Well.. since I was not able to upload almost 50mb of my wallpapers with SteelFlash, I've decided to release some packs of images.

Some are probably good, some are probably odd... but, yeah, they are part of my creativity progress.. and we know, deviantart is full of creativity!

I'm back again!

This is one of my best packs yet, Containing 8 colour variations (contrary to what it says on the preveiw). It is available in both fullscreen and wide screen resolutions (1600X1200 and 1920X1200).

You may have noticed my journal earlier in the week asking for recommendations on what preveiw image I should use. Disappointingly, I received no reply's. I feel part of the reason for this is because of the new message center, where you don't actually have to visit the journal to read it. I know that I myself have not posted as many comments because of this reason. To all my watchers: Please answer my journals, I appreciate every comment.

Another issue that has been worrying my has been the decreasing number of views I've been getting on my deviations. I accept that my last two deviation have not been top quality, but I am still disappointed to have only received around 200 views at this stage on 'Look deeper' I don't know why this is. Is it the preveiw, the artwork itself, or just because I slowed my submitted rate a bit? Please leave a comment on what you think...

Now that I've got that of my chest, I would really like to make this wallpack as successful as possible. Please please please fav and comment.
